Can I create a process in 6.0 and recompile it to 4.0 for my customer?

I have customer that has Lookout 4.0 and I have 6.0 integrator. What problems will I encounter if I develope on 6.0 and recompile it on his program? Have there been new objects added which do not exist in 4.0? It is difficult for me to program at my customers site, so I need to be able to develope it offsite.

There have been new Objects and Data Members added since Lookout4.0 and hence highly doubt if you will be able to get it to work. Surest way to know is to try it!

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

If you want Muse to "pass through" your images and not adjust, compress, crop etc - you need to place your images in the lightbox EXACTLY at the right size, pre-cropped and prepped in Photoshop.
So if your light box is 800x600 the image you're dropping into that must be 800x600 exactly with no effects, rotation etc added to the lightbox frame. This stop Muse fiddling with your images, if they are perfect when inserted and you're not asking Muse to crop, expand, add effects etc. If it's perfect when inserted, Muse SHOULD also leave the resolution alone too, but I have not tried that one, but in theory, it should work.

I think that would be super useful before you go to an event, create a folder on the phone for that event and just use it to take pictures. All the pictures for the event will be in that album and no need to move pics around at a later time!

That would be great, but unfortunately, all new pictures automatically go into the Camera Roll.
I wish that once you created an album and selected it to import from the Camera Roll, it would delete from the Camera Roll.

Yes, it is possible and very easy to do.
If you want your chapters/sections/pages to have the same layout and colour scheme... make your template and and save as template - or use teh same free template for each chapter.
Create a Master version - and it is to this you will eventually copy and paste youe separate chapters.
Just select and copy the chapter and open the master.. then paste in the left "Book" column.
If you are using different chapter layouts - It also takes its template and that also appears in the hidden Layout tree.
I use this method on every book, simply because it does not slow down the machine. A multi chapter book with videos and photo images makes a big file - which is slow to process every time you preview or check things.

Of course you can do this but only worrysome thing will business users will be confused between the Plant and product line business segment.
You must have Product Line (for e.g. segment 1000) is manufacture at plant 1000 (segment 2000), so when any expense occur in Plant 1000 for Product Line 1000 which segment should be used???
So give precedence to segment whichever you want......and costantly monitor entries being posted to thses segment...

Can iDVD create disc images from VIDEO_TS folder, and burn them?

That first question is pretty self-explanatory.
Background is this: I've downloaded some video folders/files from forum/torrent trading websites. When finished, I have a VIDEO_TS folder, often an EXTRAS_TS folder as well. A while back, I downloaded the app DVD IMAGER to create a disc image. Yesterday that stopped working effectively, so maybe I need to re-download, but I was wondering if there's just a better way? I also downloaded the app called BURN, but can't see yet how that creates disc images.
Once I create that disc image, I need to burn it, and I was using Disk Utility for that. I'm really looking for some help and advice on the best way to perform these processes.

Task Manager Not loading Properly. Giving Error No more threads can be created in the System.NAPStatus UI and Some other Task related Errors

I have a problem with the Task Scheduler. It is not opening properly it is giving Error Message box at this time i am unable to post. The Tasks Scheduler is starts with a error alert "No more threads can be created in the System.NAPStatus UI".
I am unable to view the history of the tasks schecduled.It is giving message as
"The user account does not have permission to Access the Task History."
How to fix it. It is frustrating as can't able to track my Tasks and Create new Tasks. Any Suggestions helpful.

Srvrmgr syntax: how can I create Named Subsystem with both Name and Description values?

In looking through bookshelf, there is no syntax discussed that allows you to include both the Name value and the Description value for a Named Subsystem/Profile Configuration. In the screenshot, the circled values were created with the server manager command-line.
In contrast, you can create a component definition with a Name (full name) and Description.
For CompDef, this works:
create component definition CompDefTest1_enu for component type AppObjMgr component group Fins run mode Interactive full name "Test Comp Def Test 1" description "Test 1 Object Manager CompDef"
For Named Subsytem, this does NOT work:
create named subsystem Test5 for subsystem EAITransportDataHandlingSubsys full name "Test 5" description 'Test 5 Description'

I have reviewed the help for create command in srvrmgr, it does not give the full name and description as parameters for subsystem creation. However, as you indicated these parameters are available for component definition creation:

In this case I suggest you to create a ticket on My Oracle Support to confirm that srvrmgr does not support creating a new subsystem with full name and description parameters, and request an enhancement request for these parameters to be included in create statement for new subsystems when using srvrmgr.

Can I create a process creation log?

While trying to help a colleague resolve some odd MacBook Pro behavior, I noticed that his system, within about 15 minutes of a restart, has PIDs in the 25000 range. I know how to use the process top to show active processes, the ~1 second update interval seems too coarse. I want to know what all those transient processes were so I can figure out what program is causing this. Although I don't own an Intel machine, I assume that creating and removing this many processes is not an essential part of the normal Intel-based Mac startup. This guy has several third party "utility" apps on his machine, and I suspect it might be one of those.
So, is there a way to capture a list of all processes as they're created (either in a log file or simply as a Terminal command output, so I can examine what's happening? I'd love to catch things as early in the system startup as possible, but I have no interest in messing around with the standard system startup, so I don't mind missing the first hundred or so. I probably even have time to type in a command or two in Terminal.
Sorry if this is already posted. I searched a few different ways but couldn't find what I need.

Any thoughts on how to make a durable PID list, rather than top's approach? I know I can us ps, but that is only a snapshot at that instant in time. -W

I'm a teacher and I'd like to be able to upload some PDF documents for my students to download, but would LOVE it if I could make sections of the document available for them to fill out answers, so they could, in turn, save as PDF and send back to me!
Is this possible?
I know how to get the documents into iWeb and that is working fantastic.
But I don't know how to create an area on a page that students can write in. Do I have to maybe do the whole thing in PDF Writer (never used it but have heard that it might have that capability).

Ummm.... I know a lot about podcasting, but to my knowledge there is not a way to "embed" a document in a podcast episode. The XML specifications do not do that. However, in the content of an "enhanced" podcast, you can link to a document which can be downloaded while "viewing" the podcast. For an example of that, see my podcast episode:

If you go to about 29:30 in the podcast, and have opened the artwork/video viewer, you will see a link at the bottom of the viewer pane to download the file. That file, however, is stored separately from the podcast episode. In iWeb, you would set that file up on a downloads page. Then in the podcast episode, you specify the path to access the file. When the user clicks on the link in the viewer, it downloads the file.
Is that what you want to do?
