Can i create AIF or WAV files larger then 4 gig? It seems like I have been doing that all along, but suddenly FCPX and Compressor 4 will not allow me to create and AIF file bigger then 4gig. It claims that the file format does not support sizes above 4

per def. WAV 32bit does not support larger files than 4GB (sometimes 2GB).
You can use the BroadCast WAV format. Which will enable that.
However, if the destination format (Your final movie you wanna export to in Compressor and Fcpx) is WAV and not broadcast WAV it wont work due to the 4GB limit.
Aiff is limited as well.

How can I create a full wave rectified signal. I figured out how to create a half wave signal using upper limits and lower limits just having trouble with the next part.

Do you really need to put "tia sal22" in the subject line of everyone of your messages?
To do a full rectified sine wave, just put an absolute value function on your waveform wire.

I downloaded the Acrobat 11 trial and I can open the product. During the install it deleted the existing print driver and did not install a new print driver so I CAN Not create and print pdf files.

No, you can't and it kinda defeats the purpose of Muse altogether. Thats like saying, "Can I use Muse to create vector graphics for designing logos?" Or, even simpler " Can I use this hammer to unscrew this picture hook in my wall?"
Muse would import that AI file as an image only. So, you would have one big picture and no functionality to any buttons, menus etc.
I would suggest that you try downloading the trial version of Muse. If you could/would design a site in AI ( despite it being an unsuitable tool ) you will find Muse just as easy to use. If you are proficiant in Illustrator or InDesign, Muse's interface is very familiar and uses similar techniques.

Can't add artwork for WAV file?

It's true. I tried. Is that supposed to happen? Why can't I put artwork on a WAV file in iTunes?

i think and am pretty sure that the album art is saved into the tracks data tags. There is a difference between the data tag on a file and the iTunes database infomation. Things like artist, album, genre go into the tracks data tag. Things like ratings and playcount go into the database file (see ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Database). If the artwork were stored in iTunes then it would global and across all formats and would not be retained if music is moved around. I think that album art is preserved if a track is moved and as you've pointed out album art can't be added to some formats such as WAV so i'm guessing that album art is a codec limitation. WAV is pretty old a raw uncompressed format that is much larger than mp3 or aac. You would need to convert the audio to one of these formats to add album art. To do this set your import options to one of these codecs under the importing tab in the advanced pane of the iTunes preferences. Then with the WAVs selected in iTunes go to the Advanced Menu in the main menu bar and click on 'Convert Selection to <Codec you chose>'

Problems with sound VIs - can't create usable new sound file

hello all!
I'm trying to create a VI that will, in real time, take a sound file and place it, on demand, as many times as you want into a longer sound file. it should place the file once each time a button is pressed. The rest of the audio I want to be just silence, but still filling time so that the output file is in real time.
(i am a sound editor for TV shows, and for my master's thesis i'm trying to create this program so that I could say, watch a video clip of someone walking and at the same time place footstep sounds in real time while watching the clip, just by pressing a button each time i see a footfall.)
i attached the VI i have so far. the only subVIs are in the Sound VI palette (no custom subVIs are used). No external hardware is used, so you should be able to see exactly what i see. i would attach the WAV file, but it's not an allowed attachment. You should be able to use any WAV, stereo 16-bit, 44.1 kHz file.
the problem i'm having so far:
the resulting WAV file is not playable by any means I can figure out. and it's always 4 KB. So obviously I'm missing something - maybe misuse of the Sound VIs? (Though the VI does recognize that I'm feeding it a stereo, 44.1kHz, 16-bit file. so that's good.)
i'm working on a Mac Powerbook G4, Labview 8.2, 1.5 GHz, Mac OS 10.4.8, 1 GB RAM. and i've tried both the
internal sound card and an external sound card (Digidesign's MBox which works with
ProTools).

Is a printer connected? Is it turned ON? Is the driver up to date?
Illustrator checks this every time and also writes information on the printer into the file.

There are some LabVIEW shipping examples for File I/O
You could use the LabVIEW NI Example Finder (Help --> Find Examples..(search item "file")) to get an overview about the different file-formats in LabVIEW.

You can manually enter the path to the 2012 feed and it will connect and download the RemoteApps and Desktop connections.
If you need a sample .wcx file I have posted one here a couple of times. If you want I will look for it and post a link.

What I'm trying to do is once I click on a digital signature and I add my digital signature it requires me to sign it. I want to know if there's a workaround to where once I click it it will automatically save to a file name based on a field and to a pre-determined directory? Say, if I want it to save to a users desktop. My supervisor is wanting to eliminate his employees having to change the file name to the format he wants and selecting the save location and make it automatic for everyone to have it saved at the same location on their computers.
Will likely have everyone in the office create a folder named 'Leave Requests'. This will be the location on the desktop where all these automatically saved files would go. The custom file name would be Emp_Name + "Leave Request" + Date where Emp_Name and Date are 2 variables that are user inputted field values on the form. I have looked around but there doesn't seem to be too much on this one. I do realize I can't create a custom 'Save As' location and path name but I have read a little about creating a custom automatic save feature and wanted to know if I could implement that. Can't creat PDF from .DWG file

Using the world's most popular CAD program. Can't create a PDF from Adobe 3D. Apparently Adobe 3D wants to open the file using my AutoCAD, but thinks AutoCAD is not on my computer???

Didn't find it here, but found the answer by Googling and getting pointed to an AECBytes article from Feb '06, which had updated Revit 3D Capture settings (settings more updated than what Adobe gives you!).
It's too bad the rotation tool is so unweildy and that the walkthru isn't right there with rotation, pan & zoom (crazy - no idea why that is). I need these to work in Reader for regular people, not computer/cad savvy types. Adobe 3D seems to have just great potential, but doesn't seem ready for prime-time yet on the PDF recipient end yet. Maybe version 8 is more polished/joe-regular-user friendly (which is what it's billed as if it's for use in Reader.
