Can I create "Multi-Page" Html Articles?
I'd like to be able to add HTML/Jquery interactivity to my articles without having to break the flow of DPS's normal pages-within-articles navigation. Is there any accomodation for putting multiple html pages into a single article so that you can swipe up-down and get page snapping between them?
Thanks
No.

Unable to mark the box 'create Multi-page PDF from page tiles' when saving to pdf-file
I am running Illustrator CS3 on a Mac OSX 10.5.8
I want to print a very large illustrator-file (1000 mm x 900 mm) across mutliple pages of A4-paper (5 x 5 sheets of A4-paper) by saving the file as a multi-page pdf file.
I first followed the instructions provided here:
http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/create-mutli-page-pdf-illustrator.html
When I then tried to save the file: -> File -> Save as -> 'choose .pdf from drop-down menu'
I get to this menu:
I am unable to mark the box that says: 'Create multi-page pdf from page tiles'. I have made a red arrow pointing to the box I want to mark.
I have tried changing the other drop-down menus inside this menu, to see if the box I want to mark could become available, but without any luck.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I would be grateful if anyone could help me set my settings right to allow me to create such a multi-page pdf-file.
Thanks in advance for your helpYour ps file should be good, the problem likely resides elswehere. Maybe in your acrobat install, distillers settings. what error did distiller give?
Mine ran good and got a multi page document, here is a screenshot to help you troubleshoot.
On mac go to system preferences / print and fax / and change your default printer if you have another option. I know sounds like this should not help, but there are problems like Illustrator for example not making .pdfs if you do not have a printer chosen or an old or corrupt .ppd assigned. -
In previous versions of Mac Mail (up to that included with Snow Leopard, Mail 4), it was possible to scroll through all pages of a multi-page HTML email, like that send from the Tivoli Storage Manager reporting system.
Since Lion, that has not been possible. The first page displays, but that's it.
As a possible complication, I'm accessing an Exchange server, not IMAP.
I have not been able to find a setting that might be related to this, nor have I found anyone who seems to be perturbed by this issue. Perhaps there's very few of us trying to read multi-page Tivoli reports on a Mac.
In any case, I would prefer not to switch to a different mail app, or sign on to the Outlook Web Service version of our email to see the full report.
Any thoughts?I've been able to find someone willing to do some testing that I can't do without installing old versions of Reader on my computer. The surprising (to me) result is that the Submit button causes the problem. By simply removing the Submit button, Reader 10 is now able to print page 1. The Submit button was set up to do a "mailto". I don't know whether other destinations also cause the problem of the page not printing with old versions of Reader.

How can I create a page that aggregates my podcasts?
If you have multiple podcasts listed in the iTunes Store, the iTunes staff can create a single page that lists all of them in one place. We call this page an “artist page.” Note that a podcast can only appear on one artist page.
To request an artist page, navigate to one of your podcasts, click on Report a Concern, and select Remove a Podcast. In the dialog box, explain that you would like an artist page, give us the exact name of the artist (please don’t include “Inc,” “LLC,” etc.), and list the exact feed URLs or links to your podcasts.

I hope two is enough and if not that someone contacts me and maybe even changes the info on the above link.

Creating multi-page PDF from Page Tiles
Trying to save out a page-tiled Illustrator document to multi page PDF. The "Create Multi-Page PDF from Page Tiles" is ghosted/disabled when I save out as PDF; and printing to PDF doesn't size page edges properly. I've followed all directions and re-created new docs to see if I can get this to work, no luck.
Is there a trick I'm missing? Using Illustrator CS3 13.0.2 Mac, Acrobat 8.1.3. Thanks!This would be hard to answer but you must be missing something the question is what are you doing and how is the document set up and then the really important question what are doing wrong. Which I know you want us to tell you but without knowing what that is we cannot tell you what not to do.
If there is something you can tell that might give us a clue perhaps we can help. -

Instead of using "WriteLine," try using "WriteText" ("WriteLine" writes
TextData into an open file, while "WriteText" writes data to a stream)
like this:
<method 1>
myFile : file = new();
myFile.WriteText('\f');

Hi:
i'm having troubles with a portlet wich is supossed to have a "create page group" functionality, but it really doesn't have it. i've seen documentation on Oracle about a portlet called "page groups" which gives the possiblity to build page groups, pages, styles,... but i only have a portlet called "pages" which gives the same functionality, but not the "create page groups" function. what should i do? how can i create a page group?
thx.Hey, it seems that content areas are similar to page groups. Can I use content areas instead of page groups? Is it possible that my version of Portal (3.0) doesn't contaion page groups? Can anybody explain to me this confusing thing?
Thanks a lot.

Can i create Multi Provider for Infoset and Infoobject.
Please give me the solution.
Thanks in Advance.
RegardsHi,
In BW < 7.0, you can create multiproviders using:
- and/or InfoCubes
- and/or ODS
- and/or InfoSets
- and/or InfoObjects
You can also create InfoSets using:
- and/or ODS
- and/or InfoObjects
In BW 7.0, you can add the InfoCubes in the infosets.
Remind that the multiprovider is an union, the infoset is a join.

I know I posted this before, yet I cannot believe that I cannot somehow create Multi-Page PDF's for mailing. I'm a student working on many papers, I write in Pages (Hate Word) export to PDF and mail them separately. It is so unprofessional, I need to organize the PDF's into one document. Does anyone know a download for this? Thanks in advance.

Creating Multi-Page PDF from a Layerd Illustrator file (script)
Often times when designing a logo I create different versions and variable options on layers. This can result in several layers in one Illustrator file. Is there an easy way or an existing script that will allow me to (with one click) create a multi-page PDF consisting of all the layers within my .ai file? The current method is turning on each layer, performing a save-as (PDF), then turning off said layer and turning on the next layer and repeating the task and so-on-and-so-forth, etc … It becomes tedious and quite often I save over the previous version, forgetting to re-name it or forget to perform a save on a certain layer. Can anyone help with some advice? I have never written my own script before but am not opposed to trying, where do I begin?
Any help is appreciated.You don't say what OS you are using and which scripting language you are thinking of doing this in…
This is a sample that may get you started done in JavaScript so it's platform independent with the exception of my 'mac style' file paths.
If your on a PC it may just be a typo to set to C drive or whatever you call them things…
If you are on the mac OS then it should just dump a load of PDF's on your desktop.
You say about a multi-page PDF but don't think Illustrator can do this unless its been added with multi-artboards in CS4?
Others would have to let you know that…
#target illustrator
var docRef = app.activeDocument;
with (docRef) {
var docName = baseName(name)
var pdfOptions = new PDFSaveOptions();
pdfOptions.pDFPreset = '[High Quality Print]';
// Turn all layers off
for (var i = 0; i < layers.length; i++) {
layers[i].visible = false;
// Turn each layer on
for (var i = 0; i < layers.length; i++) {
if (i == 0) {
layers[i].visible = true;
redraw();
var layerName = layers[i].name;
var saveAsPath = new File('~/Desktop/' + docName + '_' + layerName + '.pdf')
saveAs(saveAsPath, pdfOptions);
} else {
layers[i-1].visible = false;
layers[i].visible = true;
redraw();
var layerName = layers[i].name;
var saveAsPath = new File('~/Desktop/' + docName + '_' + layerName + '.pdf')
saveAs(saveAsPath, pdfOptions);
//close(SaveOptions.DONOTSAVECHANGES);
function baseName(fileName) {
var nameString = '';
var extOffset = fileName.lastIndexOf('.');
if (extOffset == -1) {
nameString = fileName;
} else {
nameString = fileName.substr(0, extOffset);
return nameString; -
Can we create Multi Tabbed excel Sheet using Crystal Reports 2008
Hi,
We want to create a Crystal Report which will export the output as multiple Tab's ( we can use sub reports). Can we create a Multi Tabbed excel Sheet using Crystal Reports 2008 ( not Crystal reports Basic 2008). Please share any information/links on how to do that.
Also if it is not supported please let us know which version supports it.
Thanks,
VasuAt least one of the 3rd-party Crystal Reports Desktop Scheduling tools listed at: http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html provides that functionality. It allows you to burst a single report so that each Group at level 1 becomes a separate tab. You can control the tab names (and tab colors) via fields/formulas inside the report.
You can also automate the process of exporting to (and also replacing or appending to) specified tabs inside existing workbooks. -
Hi, what are the step by step instructions for creating a multi-page pdf made from jpegs using bridge ? I can't find the insructions.
Thanks !You can find everything you want to know if you look at the Adobe Bridge
Help under the Help Menu and use PDF as search criteria.
For a contact sheet in PDF you can use the Adobe Output Module (either
choose workspace Output Module or use the right icon in the top left row in
Bridge Window.
Select the files you want and fill in the details for row and columns to
your own wishes, quality etc. There will be as many pages created as needed

Can not create new page from template
I have been working on a new site for the last couple of
weeks and have created several pages using a basic template.
All of the child pages of this template still update when
changes are made to it, however I can no long create new children
from this template.
Any ideas as to what the problem might be.
THanks

my guess is that you are opening the .dwt template file and
doing a "Save
As". That page is not a "child" page of the template.
