Yes you can. You can email a PDF file. You can use iOS file sharing to transfer PDF files. There are PDF apps in the App Store that you can save the files into. iBooks works with PDF files, but it pales in comparison to most of the other PDF apps.
Adobe Reader has a very nice PDF app. Save2 PDF, PDF Forms, PDF Master and many other PDF apps are a available. One app that is highly recommended for PDF file is called GoodReader. You can check all of these apps out in the App Store.

I noticed this problem since the recent update of PCmanFM.
When I try to copy/paste, or cut/paste somes files, I got the following error:

Can't find my data file to back up, so I can uninstall and reinstall the software. (Windows, Vista & Palm version 6.0.1)

I can't find my data file, in order to back it up. After going to Documents - Palm One, the only thing that looks like a user name is a file with no data. Somewhere there has to be another file with all my data, since data is available when I open the Palm One software on my computer. After backing it up, I want to uninstall and reinstall the Palm One software. I'm hoping this resolves my inabilty hot sync. Thanks! Lauraflavin.

Can anyone help? Can't cut & paste inside JavaScript Editor Window.

I've had this happen sometimes while having a JavaScript console window open. IT happens after I've had the console open and switched to another application. Then when I switch back to Acrobat, the console is unresponsive. The solution I found was to close the console and open it up again from the menu. Then it's back to working as expected.

Yes, tried that.... QuickTime/open movie/go to vcd/MPEGAV/AVSEQ01.DAT/choose....I then get error message 'Couldn't open file AVSEQ01.DAT because there was an input/output error' So then i tried oening from the desktop.
Is this a commercial VCD or a Toast burn? Asking because I know mine was made by Toast back in OS 9 when the MPEG-1 extension was included with Toast. If so, am wondering if you have an OS X compatible version of Toast installed. I have the latest version of Toast installed and was thinking it might include some component that is allowing me to open the AVSEQ01.DAT file without error. (I get the error when I attempt to open via the OS 9 VCD script in the CDI folder since I no longer have access to "Classic" mode.)
VCD/MPEGAV/AVSEQ01.DAT/double click...I then get error message...'Chinese Input Method Plug-in Converter' Open file error.
Chinese Input Method Plug-In Converter appears to convert input text to Chinese "graphic equivalents" contained in .DAT extension files. (Plug-in probably works as some sort of a text-to-graphic buffer.) It may simply be selecting this as an "application/utility of opportunity" here and generates an error when it reaches the end of the "look-up table" without finding a valid match.
In any case, I take it your VCD does not contain a QT reference movie (.MOV) that points to the AVSEQ01.DAT file as the movie resource.

Problem in cut-paste data from a column in d2k forms to word file

Thanks for going through my problem. One of my clients is using a HP P-4 machine with Windows XP as OS. I have given them a D2k form for data entry having a multiple line column through a three-tier architectute on Apache web server. His problem is that he is not able to cut-paste the data entered in the multi-line column into a word file or vice-versa; whereas I am able to do the same from my machine or any other non-Xp machine. What might be the problem?

This is usually caused by a security issue. Look for "Applet warning" in the browser status bar. If there is a warning you will not be able to copy and paste. It was also common when using the MS-JVM to run Forms. Try using the latest version of Jinitiator - 1.3.1.23
This can also be caused if the browser security settings are set too high.
In the future please be sure to provide more details. For example, Forms version, browser and its version, etc.

Can't find addressbook data file in my time machine, to restore it to my lion new installed OS

like everbody i updated my Snowleapord to lion, i felt my system is quiet slow so i did a clean installation and copied everything from my time machine backup manually, now i want to restore my contacts in addressbook, problem is when i dig into my timemachine i dont see any place where i can find my addressbook data, i really want that back, my time machine isnt associated with my new OS lion i can access all the files via finder but i cant use space like interface, is anyone knows how i can find my addressbook data in time machine and copy it to the path where lion keeps address book data.

after having the folder visible open you time machine in finder and copy the address book from User/Library/Application Support/AddressBook and paste the same in your User/Library/Application Support/AddressBook.

Can I cut/paste my backups to an external hdd and then back to my mac?

Ok, here's my issue and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
I have an iPhone6 and my wife has one as well, and we both have iPads.
I have to backup all of these somewhere, and my current device is a Macbook Pro with 250gb SSD.
As you understand, backing up so many things in so little space it almost renders my Macbook useless.
I have read some advice about using sudo commands to make iTunes store the backups in an external hdd.
However, I am not an experienced mac user, and I do not trust myself doing something like that.
What came to my mind, and that's what I want your opinion upon, is the following.
Something that I used to do when I was using a windows pc to keep many different backups, rename them etc.
As far as I understand, when I plug in my iPhone to my Mac, iTunes recognize the device and the last backup of that device.
Then, by pressing "Backup to my pc etc" it only updates that backup and rewrites on it.
My questions:
I backup my iPhone then quit iTunes.
I remove (cut) the backup folder (the one with the huge weird name from the directory library/application support/mobile sync/backup/0604f04blabhblahblah) and paste it on an external hdd where I have tons of space.
When I want to backup my iPhone again, instead of creating a whole new backup that would take a lot of time, if I take the backup folder that I had stored to that external hdd and paste it back to its original place (the directory I mentioned above), will iTunes recognize it and update and rewrite on that backup?
And then again move it back and forth from my mac to my external hdd.
And something even more important.
In case something happens to my iPhone (it falls from the 10nth floor) and I buy a new one, will I be able to "restore from backup" using the same method I mentioned before? Will iTunes recognize the folder?
Sorry for the long text and any mistakes but english is not my mother tongue and I wanted to make sure I would be clear about my questions.
My current backups use more than half of my 250gb internal SSD and along with some apps and other stuff I cannot get rid off I am left with only 50gigs of space which is terrible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can move the iTunes library to the external and use it there.
Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folde rto the external.
Hold Option, launch iTunes, select Choose library... and select the iTunes folder on the external.
iTunes will use the external for everything.You can delete /Music/iTunes/ folder.
FYI: The iTunes media folder is not the (entire) iTunes library.

Can't cut/paste album art

For some time now I have been adding/changing album cover art by cut/paste from an internet image search and then using "Get Info" to add the art. Now suddenly I can't. I can't get the Paste function to add the art. Has something changed in the last 2 days? Win7 x64, Pro.

I, also, use Chrome. I tried saving the image (.jpg) to my desktop and doing my copy/paste from there with no luck. My audio files are .mp3. All the blank album images I've tried all refuse to accept the paste. I've been having no problems with this update until recently.
Clue 1: I had a problem trying to edit the info on an album because the screen was grayed-out. It turned out to be a user permission problem. When I reset I could revise but I could also cut/paste an image...this album only.
Clue 2: I just tried copying a download directly in iTunes master music file before I added it into iTunes. It came in clean and afterwards I could cut/paste an image...this album only.

Cut and paste a whole contacts information has never available because it entails different components. Cut/Copy and paste has always been available if you are only selecting one part of the information, but this means you have to open a specific contacts Properties.

In the left Directory Pane, select the address book containing the contact you want to move. You should see a list of contacts in the right Contact Pane.
Drag & Drop process:
* Left click and hold down on a contact in the list to grab, then drag that contact to the left and hover over the address book where you want to put the contact. Then release the mouse button to drop into that address book.
You can move more than one contact.
* Hold down 'Ctrl' key and use mouse to select and highlight various contacts.
* then use the D&D process - (left click, hold down on any highlighted contact to grab all highlighted contacts).

How can i copy my data files from a windows backup to mac mini

I recently purchased a mac mini and waiting on its arrival. I am converting from WinXP and my current system is not working at the moment (started smelling smoke one day and the video hasn't displayed since from the PC - so its been shut down). I can easily fix whatever the issue is with the PC - however - my question is. I perform periodic backup of my data files to an external drive with Windows Backup, can I restore my files from the Windows Backup to the Mac Mini? If I don't have to fix the PC - I can save that cost and buy an CD drive for the Mini (or something else).
I haven't investigated the real problem on the PC - I just know its hardware related (not OS).
My last backup was atleast 1 month ago - so I know I might lose a couple of things....but not very much. If its "simplier" for the migration process to fix the PC - then that is the answer but if I can extract from the external 1TB Seagate. I think I only have 50GB of data (itunes / pictures / etc)

Dense Restructure 1070020 Out of disk space. Can't create new data file

During a Dense Restructure we receive: Error(1070020) Out of disk space. Cannot create a new [Data] file.
Essbase 6.5.3 32-bit
Windows 2003 32bit w/16GB RAM
Database is on E: drive with 660GB space total, database is ~220GB.
All cubes are unlimited
Tried restoring from backup same problem.
Over years and years the database is never recalculated, never exported and imported, never verified. Only new data loaded and dense restructured.
Towards the end of a dense restructure (about 89 pan files through about 101 2GB pag files), getting an error: Error(1070020) Out of disk space. Cannot create a new [Data] file.
There are still several hundred GB of free space available, and we can write to this free space outside of the essbase application within windows.
The server's file system is consistent, defragmented, and can prove use of additional space. Hard drive controller and system does not report any "hardware issues".

To avoid all these things as a best practice
we didn't allow dense restructure on the cubes size>30 GB
As an altrnative, we will export the level0 data, clear the DB, and load the new data. After that aggregate the cube to store the data at all the consolidation levels.

Whether Shopping cart delivery date can be in past date!!

Hello SRM Gurus,
There is a requirement from my customer, it may be strange.
The requirement is : Shopping cart (requestor) should be abe to save having delivery date as a past date and PO in SRM with same past date.
Is there any BADI available or programming is required?
Pls post your sugesstions.

i think you can do this config . 584 message ready made available for you as E . now you can turn to W
and do lot of testing for entire procurement cycle.
.. it may give some trouble approval time too. check it up
IMG activity 'Influence Message Control' (Enterprise Buyer -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Message Control):
Select the line with business object BUS2121 and double-clicking on 'Message Control'.

Can I cut & past MOV videos with QuickTime Pro ?

I have a couple of DigiCam Quicktime MOV videos which I want to cut & paste.
Is this possible with a QuickTime Pro installation (under WinXP) ?
Is there any other alternative software which let me do such simple tasks with Quicktime MOV videos?

Yes.
QuickTime Player Pro allows editing of nearly any format it can "play". MPEG-1 can be viewed but not edited.

Can I cut/paste data files?
