Can I delay my phone upgrade until like September for the iPhone 5?

My family's contract is supposed to be renewed this June or July, and so we would get the phone upgrade prices on new phones. I've been thinking about getting the iPhone, but I've heard that the iPhone 5 should be released sometime this fall. And since it's only a couple months longer for the new phone, I'd rather get that. So I'm just wondering, even if the 2-year contract is supposed to be renewed in June or July, is there any way to delay the upgrade until the fall so I can get the iPhone 5 at the upgrade price rather than the full retail price? If there's a number I could call to find this out, please leave either the number, or where I can find the number on Verizon's site.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much, and obviously there's no real rush on this.

Each line on a family account has a seperate contract and upgrade date. The different lines can be upgraded at different times depending on their upgrade eligibility. Your eligibility never goes away once you become eligible, until you use it to purchase a subsidized phone from Verizon.
If you are eligible for upgrade in June, once you reach that date, you can upgrade at any point after that. The same goes for the other lines on your family account.
The primary line on the account should have one last NE2 credit to use toward their upgrade, and that will expire 6 months after becoming eligible (JUST the extra discount, not the actual ability to upgrade)
So, to sum up, a family account is not a "family contract" each line has a different contract and upgrade date, and they are completely seperate.

There are, however, lots of calendar apps in the App Store. They will used th same data as th built in app and sync just the same way. Many of them are quite customizable or, at least have different backgrounds. Some that I like are Week Cal, Fantastical, Cal, Tempo.

Can anyone recommend a good Mac Calendar, Contact program for the iPhone. The one intalled is hopelessly inadequate and inefficient. 2 Main problems- The current iCal + Contacts programs do not link to each other. And there is no To Do List!
Palm and MS Outlook had those features 6 years ago! Whats up with Apple?!!

ical does have a to do list in it. either click the little pin under the calendar, or click show to do list in the view menu.
i don't know much purpose behind needing to link ical and address book (not that i'm saying it isn't important at all - you obviously have some type of need for it). but it's got to be possible somehow, because you can set ical to make a calendar of birthdays from your address book contacts (in the main preference pane for the application).
plus, i doubt there'd be another mac calendar application you'd be able to sync with your iphone, unless whoever developed it developed an iphone app to sync it with. probably wouldn't sync with your contacts/calendar apps that come with the iphone.

I would have to recommend the Tackform Freedom Bike Mount. It has an adjustable grip so you can customize the tension on your phone. It also gives you full access to your speakers and ports, etc. Works with any handlebar. ( It comes with a few rubber strips to custom fit to the bar size. Ultra Light design. It also comes with this rubber safety sling that grips the corners of the phone to provide additional stability. I originally got it to us the MapMyRide app and I've put about 2,000 miles on my bike so far and haven't found any issues.

Hi I am Michael Hendrickson a third gen iphone holder. I receintly thought of an idea regarding the "notes" app. Myself and everyone I know uses this app mainly for lists, I feel that it would be in our best intersts to be able to swipe with the finger and cross the item off (with a line) and/or completely erase the item from the list. No. Apps will not have access to the functions necessary to do this either. The jigsaw puzzle of laws surrounding the recording of phone calls probably has a lot to do with it.
Check out Google Voice. You can set up a google voice number and have it forwarded to your phone. You can record incoming calls through Google voice with a keypress. It announces that the call is being recorded. This is required by law in most of the US.

If the place of purchase does not have a 'Lemon' policy (three replacements = refund or complete exchange), sadly you are out of luck.
And Apple themselves do not have any power over what policy a reseller uses. You can call Apple Care and have them replace it, but the odds are you would probably get a standard replacement again like has previously happened. I'm pretty sure Apple holds their own sort of 'Lemon' polocy where if it's been replaced three times through them they'll swap it out for a brand new phone. Not 100% sure though, best bet is too call them again.
And it ***** getting a response like that from their support personel, but hey, they can't all be that bad can they? I'm sure if you plead your case they'll try and help out. I've dealt with them in the past and had one or two people that rubbed me the wrong way, but most of them have been a great help and kept me a happy customer, haha.

Two phones ordered, only one shipped. The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and charge to my card. iPhone 6 Plus has no information available, no one at CS can tell me if this is normal, if it is delayed, any info appreciated.

I placed an upgrade order for two phones, an iPhone 6 and 6plus.
I was in the Verizon shopping cart at 11:55 and checked out by 12:01 AM pacific time.
I do have my email confirmation for both phones with ship date 9/19
The iPhone 6 has shipped with tracking number and the charge to my card came through for the price of this phone.
There is no other information available - nothing on the status of the 6 Plus. Customer service doesn't know if this is normal or if my order went through, its really bad.
Any further information would be much appreciated.

I was just told by a Verizon sales rep that, when her team got in, when she checked the system at 3:03 (midnight+ 3 minutes) all 6Plus had a back order date of October, and now its going into November even though the pre-order system was showing 9/19 - that all verizon iphone 6 plus had an instant sell out.
She had no additional information on my iPhone 6 plus, not even if there was a chance for it to ship out, when the back order date would be - no further information.

Firefox will not appear in the Market for most phones with incompatible hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:

Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update. If you go to Settings/Applications/Market and choose "Uninstall" you can uninstall the update, and then search for and install Firefox from the marketplace.

Close out of the phone app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release wait for the phone to boot back up and then check again.
