Can I delete a tv series I have downloaded into itunes and make sure it stays on my ipad? The tv series takes up a lot of space on my pc but I don't want to lose the copy on my ipad. Any advice will be gratefully received.

As long as you have downloaded the programmes into your computer's iTunes library and your account is authorised on your computer's iTunes (via the Store > Authorise This Computer menu option) then you don't need to be online to watch them. When you buy a programme or series on your computer's iTunes it should download onto that computer, and will go into the TV Shows part of your library, and as long as they finish downloading you shouldn't have any problems watching them whilst offline

You can't merge accounts or copy content to a different account, so anything that you bought or downloaded via the old account is tied to that account - so any updates that those apps get you will only be able to download via that account. You can change which account is logged in on the iPad via Settings > Store

You need to go to Manage your Apple ID, https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, and sign in with your current Apple ID and password and do the following:
1.     Edit your current Apple ID and change it back to the ID which is displaying for your iCloud account. You do not need to verify it - this is only a temporary change
2.     Go into Settings>iCloud on your device and delete the iCloud account. Use your current password when your are prompted for a password
3.     Once the old iCloud account is deleted, go back into Manage your Apple ID and change your ID back to the current one
4.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with your current ID and password
That should take care of your issue!

You can't use icloud to store photos. There's a service called photo stream which is used to sync photos from one device to another, but this can't be used to store photos permanently.
Always sync photos from a device to your computer, Then you can delete them from the device.

If you log into his account and download some of his past purchases on your iPad then you risk tying your iPad to his account for 90 days : iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID

If you have his content in your computer's iTunes library then you could sync it from there instead of risking the 90 days association on your iPad. If you don't then you could copy it from his computer and then sync it to your iPad e.g. copy his music to a flash drive and then add it to your library via File > Add To Library

Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

You cannot sync it from the ipod to the computer as I explained in the previous post, unless it is itunes purchased music.

Hi Matt, thanks for your reply. Have realised that Zoom in Iphoto is just a viewing tool and not an editing tool.
Was creating beautiful abstractions by zooming in and wanted to create a new image of the result. Have since discovered that cropping after zooming takes me a little way to where I want to go but it isn't the same effect. Will perhaps have to try to create it when actually shooting. Am doing a photoshop course in February and maybe will learn a bit more then, too. Am pretty much an amateur just finding my way.

We have moved from Asia/Japan to Germany. I bought a set of new cartridges, which unfortunately are not accepted by the printer. Need help..... In the internet I found that I am not the only one to have this problem. As the printer is older than a year I either _ throw away.....or.....move back to Japan. Both are not alternative. Can someone help. Need guidance on how to change the country code of the printer

Can I delete renders and previews when putting projects into long term storage?

I want to shrink the size of my longe term storage folders. Would it be ok to just delete the previews and renders?
Any project opened in the future is going to rebuild them anyway..

I agree with Joe (nothing unusual there), and, as stated, how you do the mechanics might well depend on how you establish your folder structure, when you start the Project. I keep everything (including copies of any Assets), in a folder structure below the Project's name. This article goes into more detail: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4028199#4028199
With such a structure, it is easy to Delete, say Media Cache files, etc., before using Project Manager, or just setting it to NOT copy those files over. It also makes a final Deleting easy.
I do sacrifice a bit of performance, by not spreading, say my Render files, my Audio and my Video, over separate physical drives, but then, when the Project is done, tracking down everything is easy, as I just Delete the root folder, [Project Name], and everything goes with that.

Delete a video. Tap Edit in the upper right of your collection. To delete an individual episode of a series, swipe left on the episode in the Episodes list. Deleting a video (other than a rented movie) from iPhone doesn’t delete it from the iTunes library on your computer, and you can sync the video back to iPhone later. If you don’t want to sync the video back to iPhone, set iTunes to not sync the video. See Sync with iTunes.

After you delete individual text messages, the trash can will disappear and you can only DELETE ALL or cancel! It will come back after awhile but you can't delete everything you want to in one shot!
