Can I delete all my inbox mail and still have it on my pc or iPhone 4s since there's an iCloud ?

Hi! May i please ask if I can delete all mails in my inbox and still have it on my pc? I'm using iPad and iPhone 4s. Because my iCloud storage is quite full. Thank you so much for your kind assistance.

How soon can I have the answer for this inquiries so I can start deleting my emails on my iPad or even on my iPhone 4s? And start receiving new batch of emails form my 3 email accounts. Thanks again!

You must remember the code, if you can't then take the phone and proof of purchase to an Apple Store.

  • HT4528 Can I delete all the e-mails on my iPhone without going through them one by one?

Can I delete all of the e-mails on my iPhone without going through them one by one?

I am not synced through iCloud and the e-mails do not seem to be anywhere I can locate them on my computer.
Is it possible that Apple has access to some record in AOL that tells them how many e-mails I have received through them through the years even though I have deleted them on the computer, at least as far as I know I have?
And why would AOL keep such a record anyway?

But the iPad mail app does not have one. You must select them one at a time.

  • Can I delete files from my computer and still keep them on my iPod touch?

I have researched this topic here as well as on Google and I am not really getting the answers I need. I am by no means an iTunes/iPod pro; my 3 year old recently showed me how to shut off my iPod (I hadn't realized before that it had anything other than a "sleep mode", if you will).
I have read you need to set iTunes from autosync to manual, but this isn't working for me... iTunes still wants to delete/replace everything currently stored on my iPod, or will say it can't find the files on my iPod if I've already deleted them from my PC.
I have Windows XP. I recently upgraded my iTunes software to 9.2.1.5, and I have an iPod touch 64GB.
I really need to delete a lot of MP3s and videos (not purchased from iTunes) to clear up space on my home PC, but I'm afraid to do it because every time I end up having to replace the deleted files anyway whenever I sync the thing.
I click on "manual" on the Summary page, I then click on "sync music" and "Sync Movies". On each of those pages I get a pop up, and if I don't click on music or movies previously added to my iPod, they get deleted. The "manual" option doesn't save itself as the default option either, I always have to recheck it every time I sync my iPod. Otherwise, it always goes back to the autosync mode.
I would just like to add new files to my iPod, leave the stuff already stored on it, and delete the files off my computer. I don't know if I'm still doing it wrong, or if there's an iTunes glitch or what. Can someone please explain how to do this?

Sounds like you have a few problems going on here. First one being, the itunes/ipod preference isn't getting saved for manually managing.
Second one being, if you are intending to manually manage content on your ipod, hitting sync does just that - it puts the ipod "in sync" with the PC. If a file isn't on the PC, it gets erased from the ipod.
My advice is to get an external hard drive, leave the ripped files from your CDs there so itunes always has access to them, and free up space on your PC's hard drive that way. An added benefit of having an exHD is, you can have backups copies of your purchased tracks, since you only get one download of them. If your PC dies, they will be on the exHD, or vice versa.

  • My ipod decided to delete all of my Apps and I have had to sync them all back and I now have to start all my games from scratch, is there any way of getting the saved files back ?

    Hello Pixiekins,
Do you have a backup available via iTunes to restore from?  For more information, see this Apple support document.

  • How do I delete music from my Ipad and still have access to that same music later?

I've stored music using ITunes Match.  I then download songs from iTunes Match to my IPad.  How do I, or can I, delete the aforementioned music from my iPad so to keep storage on iPad low while still maintaining ability to download from iTunes Match again if and when desired.

    Hi roy1939,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
The variable that has changed with iOS 7 is the "Show All Music" option in Settings > iTunes & App Store. This feature displays your iTunes in the Cloud purchases on your device (while they are not locally stored). You can identify these by the "cloud download" icon on the right.
To hide your iTunes in the Cloud purchases, disable this feature in Settings > iTunes & App Store.

Remove a song from iPad. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPad, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

  • I used the migrator utility to transfer music and picture from my old PC and now I have 2 accounts on my new Mac, how can I get back to one account and still have the music and photos transfered ?

I used the migrator utility to transfer itunes and photos from my old PC to my new Mac and ended up with 2 accounts on my new computer. How do I transfer the music and photos and only have the 1 account on the new Mac ?

That's not easy.  The Windows migration tool makes a new user account, and you can't prevent it.
You may be able to transfer what you want manually, but it's not quick or easy.  See Transferring files from one User Account to another.

  • Can i create a new apple ID, and still have access to the purchases i made on the old one?

I recently updated my apple ID email address, and Password to my current (newer) address. upon doing so iCloud went completely crazy, changed the timing zones on my calendars, and removed or changed data on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
i have tried, in vein, to get a verification email sent to me from apple so i can get my iCloud account working again, however no such email has arrived.
soon i will be taking my Mac to an Apple store to get the Harddrive wiped clean, as Mountain Lion has well and truly messed it up. what i am wondering is, if i where to create an entirely new apple ID, and start from scratch would i still have access to the apps and song purchases i made on the on the old account?

Well yes, but if you want to update those apps, you'd need to sign in under your old Apple ID to update them. It's really best to just stick to one Apple ID, or you'll run into association complications down the road.
