Can I develop apps using my ipad

I just got a iPad and have some free time on my hands. I would like to develop an app and was wondering if I can use my iPad to develop it since I do not own a Mac pc

You can use LUA with the Corona SDK. It's kinda sloppy but you can. The Corona SDK exports in ios and android. So if you build in 1 language it will port over to everything. It's nice if you are looking to get something out on multiple platforms. Only trouble is that you still can't get published on the apple market without an apple computer and the $99/yr developer program.
Long story short, yes you can... But it's not the cleanest thing to do.

Hi,
I need help with my new Ipad. When I use my current Apple ID with my new ipad it doesn't work. If I try to purchase an app it requests my appled id and password and then says that it will go through verification. Opens a window and nothing else happens after that.

A little bit more of information on the issue. If I go to the App Store using the Ipad and I click on PURCHASED tab, the loading icon comes up and just keeps going but nothing comes up. I have few ups that should show up in there that I have bought before using my other Ipad or my Iphone.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

If the whole iPad freezes then something else is going on. Try this next. Close all apps in the recents tray and restart your iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
