Can I disable role "FS0000 - Financial Services BP" in CRM?

Hi,
I found every time when I create a BP, two roles "000000-Business Partner(Gen.)" and "FS0000 - Financial Services BP" are assigned to the new created BP. I know that "000000-Business Partner(Gen.)" is a default role for BP. Is role "FS0000 - Financial Services BP" an other default role same as "000000-Business Partner(Gen.)"?
If I don't want "FS0000 - Financial Services BP" as a default assigned role, how can I disable it?

We don't need a "BP General" role. Is it possible to hide it, or to change according to our requirements?
NO.
"Business Partner (general)" is a technical role, which is required for internal needs of CRM system. Despite the fact, that there's a solution in Note 507748, which allows to customizize this role, it shouldn't be done!

I previously had a homehub 2 router and I opted out of the BT-Fon services it it deactivated the service on my router, now recently due to a technical fault on my router I got set a Homehub 3, now that has the BT-Fon serivce on by default so my router is advertising BT-WiFi and BT-Fon which I DO NOT WANT, but when I check on the BT-Fon website it says that I'm already oppted out, I've tried opting out again but 2 days later my router is still saying the the service is active, I also rang up customer support on 0800 0223322 and asked for it to be deactivated but still no joy, this is driving me crazy, I don't want my router advertising BT Wi-Fi, can someone please help, I can't afford to buy a third party router.

Leave you hub on 24/7 and it should deactivate as said with in 48 hours.
Don't reset the hub after doing this, as it always puts BTWifi back on!
fwiw, you should see this on the hub event log as the hub gets the btwifi disabled update

Creating multiple BP Roles automatically after replicated BP to CRM

Hi All,
We are working on CRM 5.0 and ECC 6 as a back end system.
As per our requirement we want the clarification for the below scenario.
We are downloading Employee records from ECC to CRM.After replicating Employee records we want to add Consumer Role to every employee record in CRM. I know we can maintain multiple roles manually for a BP in CRM, But we want to add this Consumer role to every Employee record automatically.
Can anybody please explain me how can we achieve this scenario.

Hi,
You can create a role group in CRM system with roles Employee and consumer. If you maintain this role group the two roles wil be maintained automatically.
For defining role groups you can go to SPRO transaction.

I think you can make use of SHD0 - Transaction variant to achieve this. You can make it as grayed out while recording steps in SHD0.

Can't disable CTDetect.exe and CTXFISPI.exe in services or mscon

If anyone knows how to disable thest two useless services, please let me know.
I've tried the routine methods of utilizing startup in msconfig and CTDetect is unchecked, however it still shows up in Task Manager. CTXFISPI does not show up in msconfig startup but is in Task Manager.
I noticed I only had one Creative service allowed in startup and that was VolPanel, I've subsequently disabled that with the thought that perhaps this was being used by Creative to start up the other two processes. It doesn't seem to have any effect by disabling it, as CTDectect and CTXFISPI still show up.
Also, I've disabled Media Source from auto starting upon Windows boot from the tools option in Media Source itself.
At this point, I cannot get the two processes to stop running and I think it's crap I have to put up with the roughly 8,500 K running in the background.
Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for your input, unfortunately that's not the case with these accounts, all the accounts that are stored in this LDAP are OD accounts with OD passwords. These accounts were created using WM directly in the OD machine, and haven't been imported.
The accounts work normally, users can authenticate and work with these with no issues.
The only issue remains that disabling "access account" is not stored.
Further testing shows that changing other settings such as the group, or adding a shortname gets correctly stored.
I wonder which entries should I look for in the logs to find out more about this issue.

While I know there are phones that can do this, they really are not powered "off" - they are more in a hybernation state. However, the iPhone has never worked that way. Off on an iPhone means truly powered off - nothing is still running so there is no minimal function left ticking away to wake up the phone and sound the alarm.

Dear Financial Services

After agreeing to lose child support during custody mediation for my disabled son, I am pretty broke this first month. So I spoke with Todd when he called from [removed] yesterday. Todd was nice enough to work out a deal where the majority of my bill would be paid today and the rest on the 15th. However, when I went to the grocery store this morning there was no money on my card. I've lived off ramen noodles for the last 2 weeks so I know my son and I will live. I'm just severely disjointed that Verizon would make a deal with me then over charge my debit card. Yes I owed them the money, but Todd made a deal, wrote the deal details in the account, and when I call Customer Service they apologize, say something can be done, switch me to financial services then financial services didn't even try to help. They agreed that it was in the detail notes then switched me to automated land. Can't getc a representative on the 980 number. It just dumps me by saying try calling again later. I am so disappointed in Verizon financial services. Since they were able to tap my card 1st thing this morning they don't care. Why would they since they have their money? I think I'll take my hundreds a month to Sprint and get it cut in half. Customer service can't get any worse than it is at this company. I can't stand a liar.

Half a day and over a dozen phone calls to 980-939-8592 and still I get an automated message saying they're unable to connect me with a representative and please try my call again later before the phone call disconnects. I made an agreement with your company that only 200 would be paid today worth the remaining balance due on the 15th. 3 representatives agreed that was what was in the details of my account yet all they do is transfer me to an automated drop system. Customer Service, Financial Services, doesn't matter the numbers I'm dialing, I'm not getting any response other than yes they see where they agreed to the payment setup I described. Then switch me to automated line that dumps my call. I need to buy groceries and pay other more important bills. But I guess losing 1 customer with 2 lines and bad word of mouth advertising of their customer services that will probably lose them more business is just a tiny drop in their big bucket. I am so very disappointed in the service I have received today. I no longer have respect for the 3 Verizon Excellence Awards my father win over his many years with this company. Landline and cell line obviously have very different customer service expectations. You should exceed the customer's expectations. Not do way less than the bare minimum.

Hi dear,
In the ML81N T code, there is an object M_EINK_FRG Release code and code grp.
leave it empty. and assign the Role to the user with whoom you dont want to release the SES.
In this process the system will show you the green flag and also allow you to release the SES but when you will save it the system will give an Error Message about the Authorization.
this will not allow the user to release the SES.

I can't answer your question but I had a similar issue when I was trying to move our mailbox database off the C: drive. Our environment still has an Exchange 2007 server in it and when I was trying to move the database on the 2013 server, I would get
error messages saying the database does not exist. It seemed like it was trying to move the database on the 2007 server from the similar error messages that I was getting. To get around it, I deleted the database and created a new one on the drive
where we wanted it.
I discovered this when I was configuring the Antispam settings. I deleted our 2007 settings, added them to the 2013 shell, the settings appeared on our 2007 server. The shell on 2013 was making changes to 2007.
I'm not sure if there is a "Get|Set or New" command that I/we should be using when this happens. Or maybe my issues will be fixed if I just remove the Exchange 2007 server? I'm not ready to do that yet because I can't configure the spam filtering
on 2013 yet with its shell not being able to make the changes that we need.
I don't know if your environment is in coexistence mode like mine.
Hopefully someone else out there has an answer or can tell us when/how the shell can make the appropriate changes to the 2013 server. Does this happen after the 2007 server is removed?

I can't manage file and storage services in server manager.

I have a windows 2012 R2 server. I had turned on the file and storage services role and was able to configure a single share in server manager. A few days later I wanted to create another share but when I select file and storage services within server manager
I get the message at the top that says The server has not been queried for data since it appeared offline. Also there are no shares listed. Even though the shared folder that I already created is available from other computers.
If I try to create a file share anyway I am asked to choose a server to create the share on and the server appears in the list with a status of offline.
Now this may seem like an obvious connection issue however, I am trying to configure the server locally, not over the network. I can manage other services in server manager just fine. I have WDS and WSUS roles installed and can be configured with server
manager just fine. I only have a problem with file and storage services.
There are no errors in the event log.
I tried to remove the file and storage services role from the server but as soon as I uncheck the box for file and storage services I get a pop up windows that says:
The validation process found problems on the server from which you want to remove features. The selected features cannot be removed from the selected server. click ok to select different featres.
I lists validation results that simply state the name of the server and says "storage services cannot be removed."
How can I get file and storage services working again?

How many servers are there in the list? If the offline serve is a remote server, please reboot the remote server to see the result. In the meantime, please new a shared folded on the local server in Windows Explorer to see if the issue still exists.

How to disable role password in Solaris 11

Roles can only be assumed by logged in users. That is the definition of a role. Therefore role authentication is to some extent double authentication. The user has already authenticated as himself when he logged in and the sysadmin has enough trust in him to grant him a certain role. So why would he need to authenticate to the role? Isn't that double authentication ? Anyway I can see why that makes sense on a role like 'root' but on other more normal types of roles ? Really?
Anyway that is not what this posting is about. It is about me not being able to figure out how to disable role password in Oracle 11.
In Solaris 10 I would do:
<pre>passwd -r files -d myrole</pre>
That would set the myrole account to a no password account and that would be enough to disable it.
In Solaris 11 I cannot make this work. I suspect this is because of the introduction of the roleauth attribute but I've tried all possible combinations:
<pre>passwd -r files -d myrole</pre>
<pre>rolemod -K roleauth=user myrole</pre>
or
<pre>passwd -r files -d myrole</pre>
<pre>rolemod -K roleauth=role myrole</pre>
Can't make any of these work.

I do not completely understand what you are looking for. Perhaps it would help if you explained, for which purpose you want to use your new role.
In short, a role is simply a user account, to which you cannot login directly. As to every user account, rights are assigned to each role. And as for every user account, you have to provide a password for it.
If you want to switch to a role without password, this is nearly the same as extending the rights of your account.
This is possible by assigning additional profiles to it via /etc/user_attr. Privileged commands, written by you, and connected to these profiles, can be defined in /etc/security/exec_attr.d/local-entries. These commands can be called via pfexec, see pfexec(1), which grants privileges (e.g. uid=0) for just the call.
See also user_attr(4), prof_attr(4), exec_attr(4) and the "SEE ALSO" sections in there.
Profiles can be chosen from the predefined profiles in /etc/security/prof_attr.d, or they can be self-assembled from these profiles and authorizations from /etc/security/auth_attr.d.
New profiles should be stored in /etc/security/prof_attr.d/local-entries.
