Can I disable the Emergency button on the Password prompt?

I'd like to know if it's possible to lose the "Emergency" button or disable it on my password prompt screen. See, I've called 911 two times now in my pocket. The second time, I got a call back from a 911 operator about abuse of the Emergency system. Is there a way to disable it? I will just do a standard lock with the * and unlock "mute" but, I really prefer my phone to be locked w/password.

Sorry, you cannot disable this feature.
If you have OS 5.0 you can lock with a password, then also do a keypad lock on top of that.

Can I disable the password requirement to download applications from the app store?

Recently, my Apple ID has become "locked" roughly twice a month for the last two months and it's been driving me insane. To try to remedy this issue, I finally changed my password -- after struggling to come up with a password that was "strong" I ended up with one that's more than 20 characters long and incredibly convoluted.
This brings me to this question: is there a way to disable the App Store requiring a password to download apps? It was already a nuisance, but it's going to be wholly worse now that my password is Biblical in length.
If there is an answer to either of these issues, that would be awesome! (Why does my Apple ID keep locking up twice a month when I type my password immaculately? Can I stop needing my password? I'm the only one using my iPhone).

How can a disable the password required to login?

I have a new Macbook Pro retina display. I am the only user of the computer, and I would really like to be able to open and use my computer without being asked for my login password everytime. I have searched this forum for the answer, but I am more confused now than before? One of the answers says to simply go to "Security & Privacy" > General and simply uncheck the box in front of the line that says "require password ***** after sleep or screen saver begins". They even show a screen shot clearly showing this box. The problem is that on my Macbook Pro, when I go to this location, there is NO box in front of that line! There is a small window where I can choose between "immediately - 1 hour", but that is it. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone know how I can turn off this prompt for the login password?

System Preferences > Users and Groups
Choose your username then click on "Log In Options" below
Next, turn "Automatic login" to ON then supply the password to your account
Then, in the "Security & Privacy" Section, make sure "Disable automatic login" is OFF

We are running firefox in kiosk mode , I am using r_kiosk plugin to disable all the functionality, and update the user pref with following , but still getting the telemetry prompt is showing up.

HT1212 How can I zero the password on my iphone from me itunes account? The phone has a smashed screen and I want to back it up before I replace it but none of the sliders are working due to the smashed screen?

Set "Maximum Retries" to 0, handle errors manually on the Unsuccessful/Timeout branches. As for the actual prompt played, simply set this as desired P[myPrompt.wav] or pMyNamedUserPrompt as appropriate.

My Ipod will close apps and go to the home screen for no reason. Can you disable the home button/function to prevent this from happening?

Step 1: Open a stock iPhone app. e.g. Apples Stocks, Weather, SMS, Email etc.
Step 2: Press and hold the power button until the swipe to power off screen appears.
Step 3: Let go of the iPhone's power button
Step 4: Press and hold the iPhone's home button. Do not let go until the power off screen disappears.
And that's it, your home button is recalibrated and should hopefully now be more responsive.
This seemed to make it better, but not fixed.

Can you Disable the emergency call (911) or change the number. When my phone is locked I keep calling it when the phone is in my pocket.
Even if I could change the number that would help but I think 911 is starting to hate me.

I'm afraid that there does not appear to be any way to disable the autocomplete of the LabVIEW combo box. If this is a real problem the best suggestion I could give you would be to try the .net combo box. This does allow you to disable the autocomplete mode although obivously the programming would be slightly more complex than the built in combo box.
Otherwise you could use the update value on every key and use a different event to trigger the movement or if it isnt the enter key that is pressed do nothing in the event case.

Which firmware your N8 having now? You can check firmware by choosing Call, then type *#0000#.
My N8 works fine on security setting and able to define Phone auto lock period, by choosing Menu>Settings>Phone>Phone management>Security settings>Phone and SIM card>Phone auto lock period>User defined>Lock after(minutes)
You will prompt to enter Lock code each time u define auto lock priod or enable/disable auto lock.

you should be able to turn off and on with FN and + to turn on then FN and the - button i think it was to turn off the backlight it's on number pad area to the right you should see light form icon showing light is on and then another 1 that is showing it's off
