Can I do this with iTunes? Help!
Hello everyone!
I've been trying to put my iPod music into my Macbook Air but I have no idea of how to do it. So I've been wondering if it's even possible to do it with iTunes or if I need some kind of program to do it. If so, can you guys guide me on what program to use, a program that's free and that will let me choose just from certain artist (but a lot songs) And how to remove it completelly from the software after using it. I'm new to mac so I have a lot of questions and still a bit lost of how to use it propperly. I have an iPod touch firts generation.

There are free apps out there to copy songs from an ipod to itunes. they are usually demo's, but they work. If I remember right some of them only let you copy about 10 songs at a time. Irip is one that comes to mind. As far as deleting off the ipod. I think it's done in itune the same way you delete songs from itunes. By clicking on the song in itunes and going to edit at the top and click delete.

You can reset the device through settings > general > reset > reset all settings.
You can restore the software of the device through iTunes.
Depending on your computer operationg system ( Mac or Windows) you will need to find the menu bar ( File, Edit, View...etc) and click View > Show Sidebar. -

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

I have my iTunes library on an external HD because it is too big for my iMAC 500GB HD. However, it is not backed up, so I need a solution to backup my external HD. Can I do this with any Apple cloud product or should I look elsewhere for cloud products? Will it be cheaper/easier just to buy another external HD to back up my existing external HD? Thanks

mount the external
point iTunes media folder location back to the external via preferences > advanced
consolidate my library via file > library > organize library
The ntfs hasn't seem to be causing any problems, but I've always wanted to know.
in order for your Mac to write to NTFS drives, it needs some help by installing e.g. the NTFS 3G driver. apparently that or something similar is installed on your Mac already. preferably, it would be formatted for Mac but then windows machines would need to have e.g. MacDrive installed to recognize the drive. -
Hi, Unfortunately my Laptop has died (which had my iTunes on it). I want to ensure my music on my iPhone 5 and my iPad Air are backed up. Also, I want to sort my music in the way I used to with iTunes. How can I do this with just these two devices, i.e. NO Computer? Can the iCloud help? Why can't I download iTunes (i.e. my library as I saw it on the computer) to these devices? Thanks to anyone who can help me here.
You can change the email address of one's appleID...
I'd recommend changing moms email to yours to get a good backup on the Mac
Then switch mom's back to hers
Then change your account to the same email you used.

I downloaded Itunes to my computer today to update my ipod's ios (4.2.1 yes i know im way behind) but when i click check for updates it tells me my ios is the current one. How can i fix this? please help!

Standard troubleshooting...
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
3. Remove apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list
- Press the home button when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -
I used to be able to play music and podcasts in a single playlist (with iTunes DJ), but now can't seem to do this. Is there a way around this with iTunes 11?
You are freaken genius! Apple should update their instructions on how to give playlists, because the old way no longer works. And people tend to give gifts around this time of year. Anyway, mahalo niu loa (thank you very much)!

When starting Window XP on my laptop (which was connected, in the past, in a wi-fi network now no more available) appears immediatly this allert: "iTunes Helper was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. ERROR 7."
Reistallation of older or up to date iTunes versions is impossible because: "Installation package iTunes.msi is located on a network resource not available" and because "It is impossible to remuove thew previous verson of iTunes. Impossible fto find the path."

GeraldTake a look at iTunes for Windows: "Error 7" message when opening iTunes. Perhaps your .NET Framework needs a repair.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Netscape use to let me choose and create new profiles. after clicking on the icon for netscape i was prompted for which user profile i wanted. can i do this with firefox? also, each user profile was linked with its respective email account. can i do this through firefox as well? Firefox doesn't have the same type of interface for the Profile Manager that Netscape did. You might want to look at SeaMonkey ''(which uses the same Mozilla Gecko code as Firefox has)''.

Sorry, but you probably can't. You cannot sync from an Apple TV to a PC except for items purchased from the iTunes Store on the Apple TV. You'll need to restore from the backups you made of your iTunes library, which I presume you made?

I have a Yamaha FC7 foot pedal and am trying to use it as a whammy bar type controller. Can I do this with anything in Mainstage? I also have Line 6 Pod farm 2 - anything in there?
The foot pedal also seems to have an on/off switch that activates when it's depressed all the way. How do I set that up in Mainstage? Can I cycle between and effect and a volume pedal, for example?
Mainstage version is 2.1.3

ITunes has stopped working. Problem with iTunes Helper Module
After i installed the 7.3.1 iTUNES update for my windows VISTA, i keep getting iTunes has stopped working, and a message saying there is a problem with iTunes Helper Module.. I've tried to re-install and everything.. Can anyone help me out?
