So many problems with the new operating system. Biggest is I can't use my Calvetica calendar I'm back to the default which now looks like I'm looking trough a fog! Can I go back??

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Can you downgrade back to IOS5.1.1

I downloaded IOS6 but now its saying after i cant use it cause im not registed and i dont wanna pay for the year so how can i downgrade back to IOS5.1.1 cause the iphone is coming up on itunes but sending me a link asking me to register i have but still says the same

All you have to do to downgrade is plug in your device into iTunes and click restore. Let it do it's thing and you'll be back on 5.1.1. And if that doesn't work. Just search on google for its 5.1.1 for your device and download it. And after that shift then click on restore and browse for your the 5.1.2 firmware (for windows) and Mac use (alt) and click restore. Hope this helps cause I'm sure everybody with an apple device has done so,etching crazy like him so stop judging the man. Or woman.

How can I downgrade back to Firefox 3.6 because 4.0 won't run on my version of OSX?

I downloaded Firefox 4.0 & installed it on my MacBook running OSX.4.11 but when I tried to run it I got an error saying it was not compatible with my version of OSX.
So if I can't open Firefox I lose all my bookmarks....
How can I downgrade to the version I was running before I upgraded & replaced all the files with version 4? I think this was 3.6 as I do upgrade regularly.

When you re-install Firefox 3.6 it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords and other user data.

i believe there is a way to revert to an older os if you still have the file on your pc...if not then you'll have to take it up with apple...maybe they can give you a link to an older version...do not follow the links on google, for most of these have a malware hidden within...i found this out the hard way

Since you need to erase your hard drive in order to downgrade, you would lose all your files. You cannot do what you want without erasing, so make a backup first.

Ok... got it to work by adding a CALDAV account for Yahoo! Calendars... which is fine, but maybe I don't understand since I thought that CALDAV was no longer needed with Yahoo! In any event, frustrating to say the least...
If anybody has comments on why you have to have a CALDAV account for Yahoo! Calendars, if you already have set up a Yahoo! account on the iPad, I would be interested in hearing the explanation.

Seems like everyday I find another program that worked on SnowLeopard, but now doesn't work on Lion. Can I easily downgrade back to Snow Leopard?

Since I installed Lion, I keep finding programs that won't run, but which ran fine on Snow Leopard. (Apple even eliminated MacSolitare.) How can I downgrade back to Snow Leopard? Do I have to erase my HD and start all over?
I have my stuff backed up on Time Machine and Carbonite.
But do those backups just contain files? Will I have to also reinstall every application that I have been using?

If you have a pre-Lion backup, simply restore that backup.

1) cannot save multible tabs in bookmarks
2) 4.0 is not faster, perhaps even slower
3) crashes often, especially when I scroll through my emails in Yahoo email.
4) Moved the "stop loading" and "refresh" buttons to the right, ala MS Internet Explorer. I liked your old location better.

I doubt if anyone in this topic uses the non-apple app called iPhoto Library Manager. I use it to organize over 50,000 photos in hundreds of albums over 4 libraries. With this app, one uses a single folder for the purpose of syncing with Apple TV. With ATV 3.0 all of the albums were kept separate and viewable, but in ATV 3.1 all I see is 35,000 photos, and no albums. So the question is can I downgrade back to ATV 3.0? Thanks.

I am fairly sure the problem arose when upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1, but it might have occurred when upgrading from the previous version, what was that 2.something. So, then there is no disc image download site which makes 3.0 available? Oh well. I may as well give up on ATV and just use a MacMini.

Chris, I clearly said what issues I'm having with ios 8: the apps are crashing all the time; family purchases aren't working; I only get an E signal when I turn the phone on. It's not my job to perform quality control or troubleshooting for apple. When I purchase the most expensive phone on the market, it is reasonable to expect that I should receive a product free from bugs.
As far as my other comment, "worst ios yet," (which everyone says after every new release) I guess that means that apple's QC is a joke. Perhaps they should continue to sign previous ipsw's after releasing a new version, or they should be honest--a beta release should be called such.

Well, the Phone 2.0 upgrade to my 1st gen iPhone has killed my WiFi and it's pretty glitchy with email and a few other things.

From what I've found it involves basically hacking the phone to some how trick iTunes into using 1.1.4, also requires an older version of itunes. I've heard the best chance is to tell apple your unhappy with 2.0 and they will give you another phone that still has 1.1.4 on it. Thats just what I've found on the internet, not official.
