Im trying to put GTA Vice city that I had previously purchased for my Ipad, adnd I wanted to know if I can redownload it on my macbook pro?
If you want to run it on the MacBook Pro, you'll need to get the Mac OS X version, if one exists; this may require a second purchase. iOS applications can be put in a computer's iTunes library but not run on computers, and the developer needs to create the two versions separately.

donnaYou can't play iOS games on desktop computers - there aren't iOS simulators for casual people.
Nevertheless, some games (Chopter 2, Angry Birds etc.) have a desktop (OS X) version of the same game. Some can even play multiplayer with the iOS version. They, generally, aren't very pricey either. -
How can I share iBooks or Kindle books on my wife's iPad with my MacBook Pro?
I was told that I could share books purchased on my wife's IPad Mini (IOS 7.1) on my MacBook Pro (OS 10.9.4) in some way, but I can't see how to do it. I've tried logging out of my iBooks account, for example, on the Mac, and logging in to her account, which is what they said to do, but that doesn't work.

You have 10.6 on that machine, I suggest you stick with it for performance, third party hardware and software reasons as long as possible.
Consider 10.8 (not 10.7) when it's released, because 10.7 and 10.8 will require a new investment in software and newer third party hardware as it requires newer drivers the old machines won't have. (forced upgrade because of software, really nice of them)

Far as your Safari problem do these things until it's resolved:
1: Software Update fully under the Apple menu.
2: Check the status of your plug-ins and update (works for all browsers) also install Firefox and see if your problems continue. You should always have at least two browsers on the machine just in case one fails.

These are user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple. But as Niel says it's unlikely to happen as to doesn't have the ram or processor to support iOS 6.
Have you checked to see if the developers of the Netflix app have an older compatible version of their app in your country's app store ? Try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that the app is in your purchase history, and then on your iPad go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app and see if you can download an older compatible version of it. -

I can not download the current update, 7.0.2 to my ipad 2. There is no error message it just fails to install. I have tried to download it several times with no success. Also I have tried a restart and that has not made any difference.

10.5.8 is the highest OSX it can run.
TenFourFox is the most up to date browser for our PPCs, they even have G4 & G5 optimized versions...

I can only download one photo album from my PC to the Ipad, if I try to download a second album, it deletes the first. Why???
Put all of your albums into one main photos album that you can sync from. You can only select one main folder of photos to sync to the iPad. If you direct iTunes to sync from a different folder the next time that you sync, the first album/folder will be deleted. You have to include all photos with each sync every time that you sync.
So create one main folder for photos and place all of your sub folders into that main photos folder, then when yo sync with iTunes, you can select that main photos folder as the "Sync Photos From" folder in the iTunes photos tab and you can select each of the subfolders within that main folder to sync as well.
But you can only select one level of subfolders to sync. You cannot sync a folder within a folder within the main folder - one level of sub folders only.
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Select the main photos folder in the Sync Photos From drop down menu
Click on/select all of the albums or sub folders within that main folder that you want to sync.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
