What was the exact error message you got? 404 Access Denied?

Try the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

You will need the help of some sort of 3rd party software to help you copy the content from your Shuffle back to your PC. Once you have done that, you can reimport this music into iTunes and configure it to sync to your new Shuffle.

I was able to get part way through cs4, it showed up in my downloads but never got as far in the process as to ask for serial numbers. I tried with cs2 and I got an error message that some bit of information was incorrect. I currently have both downloaded on two other lap tops I own. One is operational and one is dead. I run Windows XP. I uninstalled my copy of Adobe 7 Pro to transfer it to another computer. I successfully installed the download provided by Adobe (which replaces original disks) on the other computer. I found I was having general problems with this computer (nothing to do with Adobe) and decided to uninstall Adobe 7 Pro and reinstall it on my original computer. So far it has failed to install and I get the message: Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed. Setup will now terminate.
I have removed all Adobe products from my computer other than Photoshop elements.
Has anyone any ideas as to what I can try next. Anyone's help would be much appreciated.

You may still have some issues with the install since the activation no longer works with AA7. If this is the case, then check http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1287524.

Microsoft Word - Times New Roman will not print from my iMac. People send me Word documents, I must select all and choose another font. How can I fix this?

When anyone sends me a Word document via email as an attachment and I attempt to print it out, my printer always spits out a blank page. All Word documents seem to arrive using Times New Roman font. I must then return to the document, select all, reassign a different font, and it then prints okay. How can I fix this? It appears that Times New Roman font is part of my Font Book, and each version of the font (Italic, etc.) appears there in duplicate.

You'll see the duplicate warning. Select the fonts and go up to the EDIT menu,
and go down to RESOLVE DUPLICATES.
You might check for other duplicates while you're there, and resolve them.
RESTART your Mac to have the changes take effect.
Then try your docs again.

I received the verification code registered with a serial number etc.
However the installation keeps failing 'the installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

This issue is now resolved. The program told me that it failed on installation repeatedly - but in fact it did eventually work when I opened the document from the app folder. I guess that is the elaborate rigormorle that adobe wants its customers to undergo but am happy it now works.
