Please follow the steps below to download Flash Pro CS5.5 for MAC :
1. Navigate to Flash Pro CS6 downloads page : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=flash
2. Sign in with your Adobe ID.
3. Copy and paste the following link on the address bar and hit enter :

4. Save the file.
5. Run the .dmg file to start the installation.

I am using what is presumably an Enterprise version of acrobat (i.e. my employer owns it, not me) - so not sure what limitations that results in. I think this is a simple question, but would be grateful for advice.

- You can't install Acrobat Pro alongside Acrobat Standard. You will need to remove Standard to be able to install Pro.
- You (probably) can't upgrade your license if it's a part of an enterprise license. The entire license will need to be upgraded.
- It's not possible to install just the "Compare Documents" function as a sort of add-on to Acrobat Standard.

AH...good.
There is no limit on the times you can install it from the DVDs. There's just a limit as to being able to run it on multiple machines AT THE SAME TIME. If your old computer dies, or you sell it (please reformat the drive so they don't get FCP for free), then you can install on a new computer fine. And you are allowed to install on (1) desktop and (1) laptop at the same time as well...but only use it on one machine at any given time. Meaning you can use it on the desktop at work, and then when away from the office, on your laptop.
Long story short...you can install it fine without any issues.

Quickbooks does not support Parallels anymore. I hear Apple Bootcamp is an opton. Are there any recommendations for running Quickbooks Pro 2010 on Mac?

QuickBooks Pro 2010 for Mac is not supported in Lion. QB Pro 2011 will work, but I just got an email today that 2011 will not be updated to work in Mountain Lion. QB Pro 2012 will be updated for ML.
Be aware that the Mac version of QuickBooks is shamefully lacking in features compared to the Windows version. I do use the Mac version, but it has more features than I need for a small business, so it doesn't affect me. No one knows why Intuit seems to hate Mac users, but they show it every day.
If QB Pro 2012 for Mac can be downloaded as a demo, I would strongly suggest testing with it before making a final decision. You will be able to import the Windows data, but possibly not all of it, depending on the Windows version features you use.
Boot Camp allows you to install Windows on its own, bootable partition. When you boot to it, you are of course running Windows in every sense of the word. Just on Mac hardware rather than typical PC gear. Your Windows version of QB will work there without issue. The problem is having to boot back and forth between Windows and OS X, depending on what software it is you need to use at the time.

But if the same index.app file is double clicked in Mac 10.6.7 at out clients location, its not opening. For your information the client is able to open this same application by double clicking on index.swf file. The main problem is that client is not able to open the application using index.app file at their office whereas we are able to do so at our office. Can anyone give some suggestions to sort this problem?

The most common reason is different versions of Flash, or different versions of web browsers used. Some users may elect to not have Flash installed at all because of the processor overhead of Flash. If you are going to make an application for a client, check what operating system and browser versions they are using first. Then determine if a stand alone application is required, or if they have the necessary plugins to run specific browser enhanced code.
P.S. MAC is an acronym for Media Access Control. Mac is the shorthand for Macintosh, the operating system and computers made by Apple Inc.

Flash player in cam to cam for mac suddenly stopped working

After using flash player on a macbook pro to video conference with my office, using both built in isight camera and external logitech hi-def cam it stopped working! It asks if I want to allow Adobe flash player to access my camera, I answer yes but there is no video capture and the cameras are not recognized. This all worked perfectly last week!
Anyone have any ideas?

Error 100 when downloading a trial version (Acrobat pro XI)

When I tried to donwload a trial version an error 100 will come up
Nothing happen

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site or else the download will not work properly.

I can't install Adobe Flash Pro CS 6 on my OSX Mac! Help!

Every time I try to install Flash Pro CS6 on my mac, I get the following error:
"The installation failed - installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file."
I've rebooted the mac, logged as the administrator to install, and got the same error.

I've also ran the Adobe Support Advisor and it found no errors.

Please choose "Mac OSX.." in step 1 and "Flash Player 15.." in Step 2.
You should be able to download the Flash Player then.

I have cs3 and can't get to work on 8.1 windows. Can I download a trial of Fireworks and use my product key for full activation?

I use only Photoshop and Fireworks from my CS3 cd. It is not compatible with 8.1 windows. Can I download a trial of Fireworks from the Adobe site and activate by using my product key from the original cd's? I have looked for patches and to no avail. Please help me with this as I need for making prints of my oil paintings.

I rarely use Fireworks for printing, but rather to render or perfect my images. I have used Fireworks for about 17 years and just feel comfortable with it. I use Photoshop as well, and see the simularities. I see the handwriting on the wall with Fireworks maybe going to greener pastures, but still feel comfortable with it. I received my original Macromedia cd from my Son as a gift and another gift years later. I am launching a new art form, "Conceptual Art" on my site, and require Fireworks. Downloaded Illustrator trial version to my flash drive because have dial up at home. Says both files are complete but asking what application to use to open it. I have Vista on PC at home. Will I be able to transfer the download from flash to PC and install and open it? If able to, will Vista know what program to run?

OK guys, luckily a nice graphics design guy just popped in and answered my question--yes it will open on the PC as long as I downloaded the Windows version. The Mac I downloaded it on just doesn't recognize the .exe file. Maybe this will answer somebody else's question now.

I downloaded the trial version but I've since received a serial number for the disk I received, how do I enter my serial number to activate my account.

After downloading and installing the trial version, you can activate the software by launching it and entering the serial number when prompted.
Else you can launch the software, go to the 'Help' menu and select 'Activate' and then enter the serial number when prompted to activate the software.

Can I download a trial of Flash Pro 5.5 or earlier for Mac? I can't support CS6.
