Can I download a version of application loader for Snow Leopard?

I'm not able to upgrade to mountain lion at the moment but I need to upload my app.  The only version application loader I can find is for 10.7.  Right now my operating system is 10.6.  I've seen that you can use xcode to submit using the archive but another complicating factor here is I'm using Phone Gap Build to compile my code.   It generates an IPA file which isn't recognized in the archive folder.
The only possible solution I can think of is finding a compatabile version of Application Loader.  Is there an older version somewhere?  If you know of a way to get xcode to recognize and submit an IPA file, that would work as well.
Help?

Why not get an external drive, install ML on that and boot into it when you want to submit your app?

Not if you have a PPC machine. In that case your are at the limit. But if you have an Intel model:
Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard — Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service — this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.

  • You can't use this version of Font Book with Snow Leopard!

    Hi,
Since upgrading to Snow Leopard I get the following error message when attempting to open Font Book:
"You can't use this version of the application Font Book with this version of Mac OS X. You have Font Book 2.1."
Most solutions I've found via Google simply suggest reinstalling Snow Leopard. Does anyone know of a less drastic solution to this problem?
Could I copy the correct version of Font Book (v2.2) the SL CD?
    Thanks,
    Mateus

you should have fontbook 2.2 already if you installed SL. possibly you have an old leopard version of fontbook in a different location and that's what you are trying to run now. go to the main Applications folder at the top level of the hard drive and launch Font Book from there. does it run?

  • Where can I get a version of Aperture compatible with Snow Leopard?

I have Snow Leopard (10.6) on my iMAC and I did not upgrade to Lion as it is good enough for what I do with my iMAC.
Unfortunately, the Aperture version available in the App Store recommends MAC OS 1.7 or later.
Is there a previous version of Aperture, which is compatible with Snow Leopard (10.6), still available?
If so, where can I get it?
Thank you in advance to the Apple community.
    Philippe

As keith alluded to if you stay with SL and get a version of Aperture that runs on it you will be locked into that. There will be no more updates for Aperture or the Raw Camera bundle.
So if that version of Aperture supports your camera and you have no plans to change cameras to something that is not supported in that version then you will be fine.
If you think you might be getting a new camera at some point then you might just want to bit the bullet and do the upgrades now.

  • Where can I download PDF-versions of the manuals for 3.6?

For 3.5 I found Coherence manuals in PDF-format but for 3.6 I cant find them. Where are they loacated?
    /Magnus

    Hi Magnus,
You can find 3.6 documentation at the following location:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/coherence/downloads/index.html
For example, under Technical Information, you can select Coherence Documentation, then Developer's Guide, then "View PDF" option on the upper right corner for the PDF version of the manual.

  • Is there a working version of xcode for snow leopard out there?

I downloaded v 4.2 from developer.apple and when I try to install it on my computer it says "unknown installation error occurred" and "you may want to contact the software manufacturer."  It doesn't give me anything else...
Similarily, I used adobe flash pro to build my .ipa file and am curious if I even need xcode - is there a working version of Application Loader for Snow Leopard available for download?
    Thanks a bunch.

I need to upload my .ipa file to itunes connect...
I have an older mac with snow leopard 10.6.8 and an old version of Xcode (3.2), but no Application Loader to load my .ipa to itunes connect.  The Application Loader you can download in itunes connect requres OS 10.7 or higher, and I I can't upgrade my OS without increasing RAM.

  • Bought iMovie '11 for a Mountain Lion iMac and want iMovie '11 for snow Leopard MacBook but it won't download for Macbook?

    Hello:
I have an iMac that I recently upgraded to Mountain Lion.  I bought iMovie '11 after upgrading to Mountain Lion.  I also have a MacBook Pro but don't want to upgrade to Mountian Lion 'cause I don't want to loose Front Row.  So I tried to buy and install iMovie from the App Store on the MacBook Pro (Snow Leopard) but when I try to buy it it says that I can't buy it or run on on Snow Leopard it must be on Mountain Lion?  Is there any way to get the down version of iMovie '11 for Snow Leopard from the App Store?  I already paid for this version online.
    Thanks,
    mn3

My guess is that you are out of luck. The latest requirements for iMovie '11, as listed on the App Store, are "OS X 10.7.4 or later". In other words, iMovie '11 (in it's latest iteration) will work only on Lion or Mountain Lion (or later).
My wife's iMac is on Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.8 and is running iMovie '11 version 9.0.4. Checking for updates returns the message that iMovie is up to date. So it appears that the last version to run on Snow Leopard is 9.0.4 - hence why you can't download 9.0.8 to Snow Leopard from the App Store. Perhaps you can purchase a boxed version of iLife '11 somewhere (possibly eBay) that has an earlier version of iMovie '11.

If you want to add a new user-agent into User Agent Switcher, you go into preferences > New. Most of the blanks are filled in already, so just change the Mozilla revision number that will be at the end of the User Agent line. To fake 3.5.19, just change rv:1.9.2.19 to rv:1.9.1.19. For the description, put in "Firefox 3.5.19".

  • How can I make server use single class loader for several applications

I have several web/ejb applications. These applications use some common libraries and should share instances of classes from those libraries.
But applications are being deployed independently thus packaging all them to EAR is not acceptable.
I suppose the problem is that each application uses separate class loader.
How can I make AS use single class loader for a set of applications?
Different applications depend on different libraries so I need a way that will not share library for all applications on the domain but only for some exact applications.
When I placed common jar to *%domain%/lib* - all works. But that jar is shared between all applications on the domain.
When I tried to place common jar to *%domain%/lib/applibs* and specified --libraries* attribute on deploying I got exception
    java.lang.ClassCastException: a.FirstDao cannot be cast to a.FirstDaoHere http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E19879-01/820-4336/6nfqd2b1t/index.html I read:
If multiple applications or modules refer to the same libraries, classes in those libraries are automatically shared.
This can reduce the memory footprint and allow sharing of static information.Does it mean that classes should be able to be casted ?

You didn't specify which version of the application server you are using, but the config is similar as long as you know what to look for. Basically, you need to change the classloader delegation. Here's how it is done in 8.2

  • How can I download a version of safari for 10.6.8?

I trashed Safari because it was not running correctly and now I can't find a version that will work with my OS 10.6.8 on an old iMac. Can anyone help? I tried restarting and holding down command R at the grey screen but never got the option to reinstall the OS

There is no such option for Snow Leopard.
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
    1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed with reinstalling OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

  • Where can I download former versions of iTunes

Where can I download former versions of iTunes who are running on my laptop? RAM 180MB

    HI Hello,
Reinstalling an older version of iTunes on our Mac is not a good idea. Perhaps some easy maintenance suggestions will help.
Try running Disk Utility and Repairing Disk Permissions first. Launch Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities). Select MacintoshHD 10.x.x in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab, then click: Repair Disk Permissions. Quit DU when it's finished and reboot. Try to launch iTunes... if it still won't open..
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag this file from the Preferences folder: com.apple.itunes.plist to your Desktop. Try to launch iTunes. If iTunes launches successfully, then that .plist file is corrupted. Drag it to the Trash, empty the Trash and reboot. You will have to reset your iTunes preferences but if deleting this file fixes the problem, then it's worth effort.
If you still have problems with iTunes, then perhaps an Archive and Install is in order. Back up all your important data/images/video/documents. When you are finished with the installation, at some point you will be prompted for an iTunes update. If you had good luck with 8.0.1, just don't go any farther with the updates for now.
If you need help with an Archive and Install, please post back.

I have a CC student membership for one year, but I can only download trial versions of for example illustrator and indesign (30 days). How do I solve this problem?

If there is no billing issue,
Creative Cloud applications unexpectedly revert to trial mode | CS6, CCM
If you use Photoshop at all, you may need to install the latest update to resolve this issue. See this blog post for more information:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2013/01/photoshop-13-0-413-1-2-updat es-now-available.html
If you do not have Photoshop, then try the solution that others have mentioned previously:
Open the Adobe Application Manager (AAM).
If applicable, let AAM complete any automatic updates and restart itself.
Sign in with your Adobe ID. (Optionally, you can close AAM at this point.)
    Open a CS6 application (e.g. InDesign CC).
If prompted (e.g. you get the trial screen), click "License This Software" and sign in with your Adobe ID.
