Can I download Adobe Air?

How can I download Adobe Air

If you are really running iOS (on an iPad or iPhone), you are probably asking the wrong question. Any app that needs Adobe Air must include it, so you get it along with the app. If on the other hand you are a programmer wanting to make your own apps using Adobe Air, you can read this page http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/air-on-ios-faq.html
If this just confuses, please let us know what it is that has made you believe you need to download Adobe Air for IOS.

How can I download adobe air version 2.74 to my Mac OSX 10.5.8?

In the end it worked for me as well. Once I uninstalled any previous version and any version that I tried to install and didn't work, then installed the 2.7.1 the Advent Calendar that I wanted to show animation worked. I know, a small thing, but I really wanted it to work.
    Thanks, Klaus1!

  • Can't download Adobe Air for Legalsounds music downloading service

I have a Mac OS X vs 10.5.8 and I joined Legalsounds a music downloading service. I attempt to download Adobe Air which is their download manager and it wouldn't load. I went to Adobe and it seemed that the Air program is for OS X 10.6 or 10.7. I was wondering whether there's an earlier version of Air that I could use or if there some other way I could download my music to iTunes without using the Adobe Air program or if I must update my software to run that program. My system is currently up to date with all its software and I don't quite know what I need to do to resolve this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  • Can't download Adobe Air

Hello, recently I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7 Home Premium (X86) and attempted to install photoshop as soon as I got it done. Well, in order to install Adobe Photoshop I must download Air with the download assistant, but whenever I navigate to the download page and click "Download" it redirects and it can't connect.
    Error:
The connection to airdownload.adobe.com was interrupted.
    Here are some suggestions:
    Reload this webpage later.
Check your Internet connection. Restart any router, modem, or other network devices you may be using.
Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall's or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the Chrome menu >Settings > Show advanced settings... > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox.
I have searched google and found no solutions or reports.

I ran across a suggestion here:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb403150.html  that sent me to a Microsoft fix here:  http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall/en-us.  That seemed install.  It seems to run Adobe Air Launchpad.  That's all I know so far.  Still learning all this.

  • Can't Install Adobe Air on Windows XP SP3

Every time I attempt to Run the AbodeAIRInstaller, it gives me an error, saying that it has encountered a problem and needs to close.
I have SP3, and am the administrator since this is the only account on the computer.
I'm not sure if there's anything I need to do prior to downloading this. This is the first time I've attempted to download AIR. I have all other free products but this one.
Performed all the troubleshooting steps like Uninstalling through Windows Installer Clean Up Utility , again getting the same error on installing.
When I right-clicked the installer for Adobe AIR, I noticed there was an "unblock" option at the bottom that most newly downloaded i
tems have to "protect" your computer. After clicking unblock, I can't even "run" the program. As soon as I double-click the installe
r, it gives the Windows Error (crash) saying that the program needs to close and I can Send or Don't Send the error report. Before u
nblocking, I was able to actually press "Run" or "Cancel".
I have absolutely no idea why I can't install Adobe Air, of all programs... If there's a possible conflicting program, or if I need
to have all current Windows updates (I haven't updated in a long time, but it's all security things, so I don't think that matters),
or if I need the Flex program for you to troubleshoot, I'll do it. This whole thing is just really frustrating me.

I hear ya. that's on an existing system with an upgrade. i've solved (well, resolved) a remote desktop problem with a rollback to sp2.
but on the clean xp pro sp3 system (1st app install after anti-virus and firewall), the cs3 install took about 10 minutes. very fast very smooth.

  • Cannot download Adobe Air on Windows 7.

I cannot download Adobe air to my computer. I consistently receive the following error message: An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator. I have tried turning off my anitvirus program although it says it is safe.

I am having the same error message upgrading Adobe AIR 3.8 to 3.9. Fully patched and up-to-date Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Windows Installer Service is verified running. Logitech proceses have been stopped. Antivirus program has been paused. That exhausts all the solutions I can find on the web! I have another computer with the same OS that is not having the problem ... hmm.

  • HELP! - Can't update Adobe Air Apps - Application Install Error

I have several Adobe Air Apps on my Mac OSX (10.9.4) MackBook Pro. They won't update due to the following Install Error.
"The application cannot be installed due to a certificate problem. The certificate does not match the installed application certificate, does not support application upgrades, or is invalid. Please contact the application author."
Following the above instructions, I've been contacting the authors of my Adobe Air Apps and they are telling me that it is not their problem. The Apps should simply update without difficulty.
I searched the "Google" and found no fix other than uninstall and reinstall Adobe Air. Did this and the problem persists.
If you can help me get beyond this issue and back to productivity, I'd be very appreciative.
    Thanks!
    David

I had a similar problem when trying to install Zinio.air. I have made it all work out. What i did was remove Adobe Air 15 entirely from the Utiliites and Library/ accounts and preferences. I then downloaded Adobe Air 13 and installed and then clicked on Zinio .air and it all installed ok. I also had to temporarily change security settings from Apple approved to Anywhere. All functioning now.

  • Can't Install Adobe AIR - Need Admin Permission.

I can't install Adobe AIR on my Windows XP as it the error message says I need to contact the administrator.
    RE:
"An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator."
I am the owner of my PC so the amin should be myself but do not know how to do this.
I tried the right-click on the Adobe icon on my desktop to access the admin log in, but I am unable to do this as it won't accept any passwords I entered.
I need to by-pass the admin or find a way to access my admin. I think I read somewhere that Adobe may have an apllication for this but could not find it.
Anyone have any idea how to get this application running on my PC?

I'm sorry you're running into installation issues with AIR.  Microsoft has just released a new utility that can help resolve installation problems.  Would you mind giving this a try and let us know how it works for you?  When running the Fix it, go through the uninstall process and try to remove Adobe AIR from your system.  Once finished, download the latest version of AIR and install again.
Microsoft Install and Uninstall Fix It
If you still encounter problems, we'll need to review the AIR installer log to better diagnose the issue.  Please post back with the log contents.  You can find instructions for finding these logs here:

  • Receive error when downloading adobe air on iPad

I receive an error every time I click on the link to download adobe air?
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Jim

since it's not available from the App Store you won't be able to install it.  You see the error page because probably AIR is for development purposes and once you publish an AIR app it will run on iOS.  Take a look at the tech specs for Adobe AIR on the adobe website by searching for Adobe AIR in the search box.
