I have this version installed on my MacBook Pro. 3.3.7.0 (3.3.7.0) I am using Lion OS X 10.8.4.
I have followed the instructions from the Adobe site, The installation process completes. I click "FInish"
I get taken to the Adobe website, http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/completion/aih/?exitcode=0&type=install where I am told the installation is complete.
I restart the computere just in case, go to YOuTube and blam. You need the latest version of Flash Player error shows up again to complete my frustrating loop.
Under Applications on my Hard Drive, I have: AdobeFlashPlayerInstaller_11_ltrosxd_aaa_aih.dmg
When I look at my downloads folder, I find Wccb63Gg.dmg.part
I don't know what to do. I don't seem to have the same file name as others on this site for the download. and I can't find it anywhere.

Hi, can anyone tell me how to download adobe flash player onto my new MacBook Pro with retina display please?
I don't know what operating system it has?If you've a new Retina display MacBook Pro, it probably shipped with Mavericks - you can confirm this by going to the Apple on the menu bar and selecting "About This Mac...." if it says system 10.9 or 10.9.1, you're on Mavericks.
To install Flash Player, you must first download it from Adobe -> http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/. After the download is complete, you should have a file with a .dmg extension in your Downloads folder. Double-click this file and it will 'mount' as if it is a disk. There will be a 'package' inside and you must double-click this to actually install Flash Player.
Once Flash Player is installed, restart your computer and then open your browser. You should now be able to view Flash content.

Have been trying to download adobe flash player but repeatedly have the same error. towards the end of the process i am told to quit safari though i already have. this has happened multiple times. I've followed all the steps but have difficulty. i have been downloading from the adobe website. please guide!
Did you close the Safari window or quit Safari?

Yes it is safe if you only download direct from Adobe.
You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications (including Safari) first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
After installing, reboot your Mac and relaunch Safari, then in Safari Preferences/Security enable ‘Allow Plugins’. If you are running 10.6.8 or later:
When you have installed the latest version of Flash, relaunch Safari and test.
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser. -

Here are the steps to successful Flash install that work every time for me.
Initially, download latest Adobe Flash PlayerAdobe location only!
Once it is downloaded, quit all browsers, and system preferences (if open) - this part is crucial.Installer will download to the Stack, next to your Trash icon in the Dock
Click once on the Stack to open it.
Click once on the Flash Installer to open the installer.
Double-click on the red Install Adobe Flash Player icon
Agree, by choosing open on the pop-up dialog
Enter your login password to proceed.

The Flash system preferences panel is installed
Remove Adobe Flash Player installer from desktopRight contextual menu on installer icon - Eject “Adobe Flash Player Installer”
The System Preferences Flash panel has an Advanced setting. On the advanced setting tab screen is a Delete All... button. This cleans up all the Flash carcasses left on your system after browsing and/or movie events. Sometimes, this actually clears up an otherwise unexplained browser behavior. I consider this just as important as clearing browser cache.
From this point forward, you can also check for new Flash Player releases from this panel too. Once the update has downloaded, again, exit all browser sessions and make certain System Preferences is closed. If it is open during the install, the install will fail. -
