Can I download an app to FaceTime through my iPhone onto my iPad?
I just bought an iPad 1st generation on eBay (I know, I'm way behind!) I know there's no camera on the iPad, but I downloaded an app on both my iPhone and iPad called "Camera for iPad" where I can have my camera open on my phone and see and take pics on my iPad (if that makes any sense)...I was wondering if there was something similar to this for FaceTime where I'm actually FaceTiming on my phone but can see it on the iPad? Before the rude comments roll in...yes, I know I could just buy an iPad 2...well, I'm not going to right now........thanks to anyone that can help me out with this!

The error 1009 error is normally associated with a blocked country. There are a list of countries that Apple is not allowed to sell their software to due to US restrictions

At our elementary school, our 150 iPads are separated into 5 subsets. Can I download different apps to each subset, or must they all have the same apps since they all share the same Apple ID. Some iPads are for grades k-2, and some are for 3-5. I'd like to have the best apps for the different grade levels on the iPads. Currently we have "iPad Carts" to house our iPads in, and could use them to upload and update apps all at once, but don't utilize this function as we have a custom set up for the iPads that is erased each time we update through the carts.
You can configure different set of apps for different groups of ipads.
You need an mdm to do this.

I can't Download in-app purchase
I have an iphone 4 with the latest iOS 6.0.1
I can't download in-app purchaes on it but on my iPad (3rd gen.) i can download it.
for example knights of pen and paper if i want to get more golds on my iphone it will give me an error screen telling me could not connect and no matter how hard i try through wifi or 3G it wont let me get the in-app purchase but if i tried to get it on my ipad it will purchase it without any problem.
i tried to delete the app then downloading it again on my iphone but the problem still there.
and there are many games like this
so, anyone knows a solution for this problem

Running on an XP laptop. Latest version of iTunes (7.7). Authorized computer, synced my iPhone, downloaded the latest iPhone firmware. Setup an iTunes account and all that.
However, when I go to the app store and try to download an app (even a free one) it says, "Your account is only valid for purchases in the US iTunes store."
The thing is, I'm in the US. And yes, my iTunes (while I'm logged in or logged out) is set to the US store. I even switched it to a different store, then went back to US, then re-synced and restarted my phone, etc. No luck.
In fact, I was able to download an app just fine through iTunes on my laptop. I got a free game, then synced it to my iPhone. Now that game is on my phone. Yet still, I can't download from the App Store on my phone.
What's the deal??I had this problem with the iTunes Store and what I had to do was go on iTunes on my computer and log in with my account and then synced my device. It seems to sound like the problem might be with your device. You can try resetting and syncing it with your computer. Good luck!

when I try to download an app I am asked to give additional security questions, but I am timed out every time. If I press the "not now" option , the app download resets. At the moment I can't download any apps because of this.
If you have a credit card on file on top of your gift card then it is asking you to confirm the security code for the card, which for a Visa or MasterCard is 3 digits located on the back, or AMEX has 4 digits on the front. This happens just to ensure that you are the account holder, and would happen from time to time whether it was a free or paid app, even if you have a credit through your gift card. This doesn't mean that your credit card will be charged.

My dad got this iPhone for me a few months ago as a gift since I had a really awful phone before. The only thing is, I can't seem to upgrade it to the latest software without it telling me it's already updated to iOS 4 or something like that. (I would be able to give you the exact iOS version, but ever since connecting my iPhone to iTunes, my phone isn't responding so I can't check the settings or anything.) I can't download any apps (I get an error message saying the software on my phone is too old) and so I pretty much am extremely limited to what I can do on this phone. I'm very frustrated at this point and incredibly displeased with Apple's products.
If someone could please explain to me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it, I'd be extremely grateful.

If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. -

You have to be in a country, and have a billing address in that country, to download from its store. You can try requesting that the app be added to the Slovenia store, but unless the app's developer/rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Itunes won;t open and can't download new apps

I've got a huge problem and I hope I can solve it here. I ve got an ipod touch for smth like 2 months and all of sudden, when i connect it to the PC , itunes isn't starting automatically and i have to do it manually, even though until now it did open automatically. Also, a bigger problem is that I can't download new apps and i can;t update the ones i already have... when i try to do it, it just shows the sign of "waiting" and it frozes like this, so i can't use the app anymore... i tried to reset all settings, to reset the network settings, i searched for a lot of answers on the internet, but my problem wasn;t solved. So, if u can please tell me what should I do, considering that i haven;t tried to erase all content and settings and also my itunes is up to date. If i missed a detail you want to know, let me know, i ll answer, but i hope i wrote everything thatwould be useful in giving me an answer. Thank you!!I had a similar problem and ran across this old post from ilounge. I am running Win 7 and lost my playlists to the new upgrade. Then my old ipod died before I could hook it up. When I followed this insruction it restored all my songs and playlists (so there was duplication but I got everything back). Might work for you.

I'm running windows XP and seem to have found a partial solution that does not involve vague half assed directions =P
Open iTunes, go to file, import, and select the latest "Temp" file, I got most of my playlists and songs back that way.
Edit: This file is in the \My Documents\My Music\iTunes folder
