Hi there, just wondering how i can re-use an adobe acrobat pro 8 license that i have. the original computer it was on has died and i can't access it at all.
how do i remove the license from that machine and put it onto another machine?
I also don't have a disk for this product - can i download adobe acrobat pro 8 from the website? i haven't been able to find it.

and use the serial number to license the software.

I hope that someone could help me. I bought a subscription for Adobe Acrobat yesterday evening. Now I tried to download the software from this page: https://cloud.acrobat.com/acrobat. And it failed - saying that "i don't have the right language or platform / stage" - . But I checked the standards on my computer before. I got Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (they say i need minimum Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3). Central processing unit, Hard Disc and RAM are also ok.
So - I really don't know what to do right now - sitting here since hours trying to make it work.

Thanks a lot for your answer. But: What the fxxxxx - that is really one of the worst offer of a service I've ever seen. So I have to check if I could update or "downgrade" my Computer System. Otherwise I have to cancel my order.

Which signature style are you talking about?
You can go ahead and try uninstalling and reinstalling it and see if that works for you .

There is no trial version for Acrobat XI Standard. What Leonard suggested would work for Pro however.
If you purchased Acrobat via a download from Adobe, you can re-download by going to the "My Orders" page on Adobe's web site (https://www.adobe.com/account/account-orders.html). Have you rendered both iOS 7 and iOS 8 (both of which will work on your iPhone 5) out of the question entirely without trying every possible configuration? The animations can be disabled entirely, if that's the problem. And if the whiter-brighter user interface is the problem, there's reverse-contrast modes that darken everything. You can expose accessibility controls to gain immediate access to these functions to toggle them on and off. I guess my point is you may have decided against upgrading the OS based on an early experience with iOS 7 when Apple has since made changes in later revisions to address some of the usability complaints.
Now, Apple's instructions for downloading older versions of apps is to do so from the Purchased list, not from the app's product page.

You don't need to re-install Acrobat X in order to install the upgrade to XI.
Just download and install Acrobat XI, enter your XI upgrade serial number then enter your X serial number when prompted.

Simply download the trial and activate it with the serial. Or you could copy the files to an USB stick on another computer. There is no super-secret extra download.
