Can I download and use non-Universal Games like Bookworm and Word Whomp on my Macbook Pro? If I can, will they interfere with the computer's functions in any way? What about non-Universal widgets? Thanks.

i dont know how resource-intensive those apps are but you can certainly run them. if they are not universal binary they'll operate through an emulation layer called Rosetta. there's a performance penalty there, but if the app is not intensive in the first place, and/or you've maxxed out the RAM, you might very well not notice the penalty at all...
i assume the same comments apply to non-UB widgets, but as i abhor Dashboard i don't use it at all.......

then to store
tap your id then click sign out
then sign back in and you should be fine

I am now wanting to subscribe to the online creative cloud with my cs3 discount. Is there any way to find / prove that I had purchased cs3 and locate a serial number? On my Adobe account it does not show my purchase of cs3 (I am guessing because of the trouble with registering my serial number). I have moved house 3 times since the purchase and am unable to locate the packaging or disk. Is there any way to prove my purchase without any serial number or showing under my Adobe account? Please help! Thanks

The CS3 discount offer is only for retail online product, it does not include education or volume license purchases. Refer to Terms and Conditions | Adobe
To check whether you had retail CS3 purchase, we need proof of purchase as well as serial number, without which the issue can not be resolved.

Yes, I just did that on a recent trip. I don't have cable, so I downloaded a bunch of cable TV shows that I had heard good things about and watched them on the train, on planes, in the airport, etc. The TV shows or movies are stored on the iPad itself, so you don't need an Internet connection. (Streaming Netflix or Hulu is another matter. You DO need an Internet connection for that.)

You can use iTunes to sync the two devices. See the KB article, iOS: How to transfer or sync content to your computer and iTunes for Mac: sync contacts, calendar and other info.
If you want to use iCloud, your MacBook needs to use at least OS 10.7.4 or later. See Set up iCloud on all your Devices.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
When you purchase Mountain Lion, you can install it as many times as you want on all your computers for free. To install it on the desktop, open the App Store, go to Purchases tab and download OS X Mountain Lion.
Another option is to redownload it on the MacBook, put the installer onto a USB drive and connect it to the desktop in order to upgrade

If you own the distribution roghts to them (home movies for example), then yes. Convert them to a compatible format ( found in the manual) and put them in itunes. They sync them to the device.
DVDs that you buy are encrypted to stop you from doing this. Breaking this encryption is illegal.

Yes, you're permitted to activate the software on a maximum of two computers at the same time.

You can get Leopard 10.5 by calling the Apple Online store.
Tell them you purchased a new iPhone and need 10.5 because you have a PPC Mac and cannnot run 10.6..
