Can I Download Background Update Resources via FTP?
I want to set up a server to automatically download the latest background update resources so that we can automatically push out the latest updates of Adobe Flash to clients.

Yes .. you can but the entire OS will be fresh installed so all existing data will get erased. Depending on what settings you have selected, data will get synced with cloud ( i.e. OneDrive account HERE). Media content can be copied / backed-up on the PC. Once done resetup the phone with the same MS account ..

Just follow the instructions that you see on your PC screen after installing and launching Nokia Software Recovery Tool and connecting the phone to PC using the USB

You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com -
JWS doesn't launch after download an updated resource
My application is launched correctly when I download the full application, but if JWS has to download an updated resource it stops the process when the resource is downloaded and my application is not launched. When it is done, I cancel the JWS dialog and I try again, then my application is launched. I have two applications deployed in this server but I have only the problem with one. I thought the problem could be the jnlp file and I deployed the application in another server and JWS works correctly. Any idea?

Perhaps both apps share resources and JWS is not able to deal correctly
with that.

If your question is how to download it in its entirety first, so that you can update quickly and not have to worry about anything going wrong in the middle of the update, the solution is to download the update file separately, without iTunes, and without having to have your phone tethered to your computer while simply downloading. The download file is an IPSW file; softpedia has a link to it and complete directions for how to install it at http://mac.softpedia.com/get/iPhone-Applications/Tools-Utilities/iPhone-Firmware .shtml. Make sure to click on the correct download link; you don't need to install their downloader or any extraneous software.
Do NOT click on the big download button underneath this--
iPhone and iPod Firmware (iOS) 5.1.1.
Instead, click on the little bitty download button underneath that.
Once you get the file downloaded (the one today is 803 MB, so, depending on your internet connection, it may take a while to download), connect your phone and open up iTunes and shift/click on the Update/Restore button and then browse to tell iTunes where you have saved the IPSW file. I am told that, with Macs, you have to Option/click in iTunes to get to where you can tell it where your downloaded file is located. -

Is anybody else still not able to use the App Store? I can't download nor update any apps. I have an IPhone 5 device not currently updated to iOS 7 as my partner also has an iPhone 5 running iOS 7 and it seems to have some issues at the moment.

It may just be a glitch. Try going into the app store signing out, then sign back in and see if it clears up.

Turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (or Security & Privacy) > Firewall
If that doesn't help, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Now here:
~/Library/Preferences
Click Go
Move these files from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
com.apple.appstore.plist
com.apple.storeagent.pllist
Now here:
~/Library/Cookies
Click Go
Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Empty the Trash, try the App Store. -

Updates are done through Software Update and are free downloads. Upgrades you have to purchase - NOT free. Therefore, you must purchase Snow Leopard - how can I purchase snow leopard is a good place to start.

Can't download itunes update. Keep getting this error message: THe program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem
I researched the advice on the link provided by b noir as well as very similar advice from apple support: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376. It worked for me (for now).
Some things of note:
I did all of the things requested by the link I provided
My computer WOULD NOT uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support. I had to manually remove the folder (also as instructed by the url)
I also uninstalled MobileMe. Was a little different than removing the other apps. Follow instructs provided here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2992
I did not uninstall iCloud
I have to admit it was a bit scary removing all those things. Is important to note that when re-installing Apple, follow steps to do so as Administrator (the right-click thingy and whatnot).

Every since my Bionic updated to the new Google Play Market, I can only download or update apps when I am in a WIFI location, regardless of the size. This is very upsetting. Does anyone know why this is?
Have you checked the app settings for the Play Store?
Motorola also has data or power management settings that can restrict how applications can downloads updates. -

Yes, but back up the library first. Note that if you're using Mac OS X 10.5.8, you won't be able to update iTunes past 10.6.3.

All content from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it, so the id that shows when trying to download updates should be the account that 'owns' that app. Do you recognise the id that is showing e.g. has anybody else downloaded or synced content to your iPad ?
