Problem re-downloading applications on nokia E71

I installed some applications like fring,youtube,facebook.Yesterday i formatted my memory card so these applications gone,but the problem is i cant downoad again these applications from ovi store.can anybody help how to make it possible to re download these applications.

Try to uninstall these apps in App.Mgr. or reset the E71. Dial *#7370# 12345 reformat, you'll lose all data. Make a backup first and restore without the settings.

Can't download music onto nokia 5800 - please hel...

Hi I've got music in my music vault which I just can't seem to download. Everytime it says insufficient memory.
I've checked all the trouble shooting advice etc... and looked at filemangager and deleted lots of files.
Basically there should be enough room now - but it still doesn't work
Any advice please?

Hi, I don't really understand your problem, but if you are storing music on your phone memory ie c drive it would soon be full. If there is no fault with phone, what you need to do is install a micro sd card ( as large as you can afford, think biggest it will take is 16 gig) Then open phone memory on computer , click on memory card, create new folder, name it music. Then drag and drop whatever mp3 music you want onto memory card from your music collection on your pc. Now disconnect phone from usb cable, go to music on phone, select options, select refresh and all your music will appear and you will be able to listen to it !

Can't Download Skype to Nokia 5800

I recently changed my memory card to a larger one. I had backed up and restored my data on it and most stuff came across to the new card. However among the apps I lost was Skype. When I tried to download it again I was not able to, as the "Download" button was grayed out. I tried to follow one suggestion I saw here of using App Manager to uninstall it so I could then reload it, however it is not listed as an application. Any suggestions?

I think you are trying to download the app from Ovi store?. Go to http://m.skype.com and download the .sis file and install it, you get the installation file incase you need it later.

Don't think it is going to happen as any access to device has to be via Zune or Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac and no access to mass memory as USB mass storage either.

Hi, ManuTewari. If you already have an active subscription, make sure you are signed in with the account you used to activate your MixRadio with Unlimited download subscription. If you are already signed in, try to log out and then log back in again. To log out, go to your phone settings and select Nokia Account > … > delete > delete. To log back in, go to MixRadio and select settings > Sign in. If you have forgotten your password, go to https://account.nokia.com/acct/passwordReminder to retrieve it.

Free country maps download error in Nokia n95 afte...

I have downloaded maps application from Nokia maps support site (nokia_maps_3.01_09wk44_b01_s60_3.1_lm_rom) and installed in my nokia n95. I had the previous version in my device was 2.xx (sorry i forgot the correct version). I had India map in my device with the old version. After installing i run the application in and it deleted the old maps data in the device as they are not compatible with this version.
Then i opened ovi suite and selected maps. There listed "Maps have been updated-Download updated maps". I selected "download updated maps". Then a new window came and listed "Install device application" next. I selected next. Then it listed "Checking old maps and voice guidance files.. this may take several minutes.". I waited for it to get complete. After waiting about minutes it showed the error that "Internet connection lost - updating could not be completed because the internet connection was lost.... and so on" Try again. I hit Try again. Then it said "Maps have been updated" Finish. I selected finish. Then it returned to maps in ovi suite. There it listed the same message "Maps has been updated ..Download updated maps" which was shown early. No maps data for any countries are listed.
But there were no problem with my internet connection. I did these processes for three times. All times i got the same error. But there were no problem with my internet connection. I have done these with windows xp service pack 3, and also with windows7 ultimate and the ovi suite 2.2.0.245. My device OS version is V 31.0.017, 16-12-08, RM-159, Nokia N95(01.01).
I hope someone will provide a solution for this problem.

or you could try the Nokia Maps Updater which can also add and update maps to your phone , and can be downloaded from the Nokia website !

Garmin 765 with Nokia E71

Hi,
I have a Garmin 765 Sat Nav and can pair it with my Nokia E71, however, I cannot see my Phonebook on the Sat Nav. I have tried with my iPhone and it works great, would like to use the E71 Phonebook though.
Been looking on the web and it seems lots of people are having the same problem. I have the latest firmware on the E71.
Any ideas?

I have the E71X and I purchased the Garmin Nuvi 765T. When I first paired the two devices all went well even the phone book. After a week or so the E71X and the 765T would not connect. I contacted Garmin and they said the E71X was not compatible with the 765T. I told them that they did pair when I first got the 765T. They said that was just a fluke. and it should have not paired. They could not explain why they did pair and won’t now. I explained that previously I had a Nuvi 880 and there was no problem pairing to my E71X. They said the software was changed and that is why they won’t pair. The Garmin Customer Service Rep suggested that I look at the compatible list and buy a new phone. I have had it with Garmin. I am now looking at Tom Tom to see if they are any better with pairing cell phones.

You need to visit Nokia Care .. Not sure if the result is due to some Hardware damage due to the fall ..Even if its due to software the firmware needs to be flashed at NCC.
