Why does it say "unsupported language/platform" when I try to download Acrobat Standard? I have the latest updates of IE and Google Chrome and have tired both.
The message doesn't mention IE or Chrome - it mentions language/platform.

I don't know what 15992 is talking about, the only way FCPX can be installed is with the App Store application on a Mac, which installs the FCPX application (it is a program) into the Applications folder, and puts the Events and Projects folders in the internal drive Movies folder.
If the user uses FCPX to move events and projects to other drives, FCPX knows it and creates those folders on those drives. Doing a sytem update will have no effect on any of those folders. Russ is right, please provide more details. -
I can't download firefox. It keeps saying the session has timed out and that download failed?
when i click download it starts to download the file. But then when it hits 99% i get another box that says that it was unable to download Firefox 3.6 and the session has timed out. What is going on?

We want managing your media to be easy! It saddens me to hear that this is not occuring. Do you receive a specific error message when the browser times out? Have you tried using a different browser?

I am using a Mac desktop, OS 10.8.5. I have to "force quit" Firefox after about 10 to 15 minutes online. I did not have this problem before this latest update. I'm actually using Safari to post this question.

As for your own problem try these suggestions in this order and checking after each step.

i just got an ipod touch secondhand. when i try to go to itunes its says "request cannot be completed" then when i search for apps on the internet and try to download them it say I need to update my itunes, but then when I sync my ipod to my computer its says I have the most recent update.
I think that the message is telling you that you need a newer version of the iOS on your iPod. If the computer has iTunes 10.5 installed then your iPod is maxed out.

I assume you mean the latest update to iTunes and not the latest update to other software.
Have you restarted your computer? Did you repair permissions with Disk Utility before and after the update? Does the CD appear in iTunes? What exact error messages are you seeing? -
After recent update, cannot find my ringtones. Tried syncing and they don't come back. Only 1 list in the contacts to be selected. Tried to sync the ringtones by themselves and it still won't sync them back to the phone.
These are iTune purchased ringtones.
