Can I download my wifes purchased songs onto my Itunes account

I am new to Itunes and want to download my wife's Itunes account into my account so I can access the songs and update my new Ipod.  I use a new computer with windows 8.1 and have Itunes loaded.  Just need to know how to import her stuff into my account.

You can't download directly from her iTunes store account without being logged into it as her, if that's what you mean by "account".  There's other ways to share music locally.  I can't give you details since you asked on the iTunes for Mac forum, but here's links:

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

  • HT201272 i upgraded to 5c and i can't download ring tones purchased in 2012 on itunes.  help

i upgraded to 5c and i can't download ring tones purchased in 2012 on itunes.  help

Ringtones are a one-time only download from the store. Do you have copies of them in the Tones part of your computer's iTunes library, and/or on your backup of your downloads/library that you should have been keeping and maintaining - if you have then you can sync them to your phone from that.

  • Is there a way to transfer purchased songs from one iTunes account to a new iTunes account?

This is a bit difficult to explain so bear with me! My two little sisters, years ago, started buying music off the iTunes store. It was my account so now i have all their purchased songs and apps on my account. At the time they were too little to have thier own email so I just let them do it on mine, I didn't see any problem with it. However, now that I am on iCloud and they all have iphones, I am stuck with all their contacts, music, games, etc. I do not want their music so I am wondering if there is a way to transfer their purchased items onto a new iTunes account that I will set up for them (they are in high school now and have their own emails, etc.) I have searched online and haven't found a solution to this. Please help! I understand that only one account can have rights to a song, but I would like to transfer their purchased songs to a new account.

Purchases cannot be transferred to a new Apple ID.
You can stop receiving their info by signing out of iCloud.

  • HT204088 how can I see credits that have gone onto my itunes account ? I can only see purchases in account history

Can anyone tell me where to see credits on my Itunes account ?

You can't see a list of when gift cards or other credits were added to your account, but if you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option you should see your account's balance and any credits that you have on it

  • Lost purchased song on my itune account

    Hi,
Since I changed the country of my itune account i lost fews differents song on itune, what can i do to get them back?

As well as being tied to the account, content is also tied to the country that it was bought in - you won't be able to potentially redownload songs purchased from a different country unless you return to that country and have a billing address in that country on your account. Do you have copies of them on your computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library so that you can sync them back to your iPad ?

  • How do i get my purchases back onto my iTunes account?

They were all deleted due to an issue with my iPod freezing. I took it in to the Apple store, and they told me EVERYTHING was deleted. Most of my music was purchased, including apps and such, so how do i get them back? It is a rip off if I am not able to get them back because i payed a lot of money for all of that and i want them back. please help!

Did you ever transfer your music purchases to your computer iTunes? If so, it is simple to use iTunes to replace the music on your iPod.
If you only had your music on your iPod then it is lost. Purchased Apps, however, can be downloaded again at no charge from the App Store.

  • HT201272 Can't download any apps.  I have 2 itunes accounts, and happened to switch between them, now neither works.

I can't download apps from appstore.  I have 2 itunes accounts and happened to have switched between them last night, now neither works.  Someone broke into my original account and racked up charges, Apple closed it for me and suggested I open a new one, which I did, then they reinstated the original account.  Some apps need to go to the second account to update since I had to resort to the new account while Apple took several months to figure out what happened, so I am stuck switching on occassion to update apps.  When I went back to the primary account, I cannot download anything.  I tried quitting both accounts, but nothing works.  Help please!

    Hello there, Gwald.
The following Knowledge Base article offers some great recommendations for troubleshooting your issue:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1368
Specific to iPad are the following:
Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • I change my itunes account from UK to China as I goes back to China, how can I download my old purchased song in UK account?

    Hi,
I used to live in UK and purchased many songs from Itune. Now I am moving back to China and bought a new device.
After I change my itune acc to China, I cant access my old purchase. Can you give me some advice on how to download the old songs?

You need to change back to UK account. All purchases are forever tied to the Apple ID that was used.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > sign out and sign in your UK Apple ID

  • HT1349 Trying to download my past purchased songs onto my computer and I phone from I tunes

Hello, I recently purchased a used I phone 3 , I have over 400 songs on I tunes I have purchased that I would like to download. It will not allow me to do so, I get a message saying in 90 days I can, but after I wait the 90 days it goes back to same message?

Check Settings > Store on the iPhone to see the Apple ID.  If it's not yours, tap and select sign out.  Then, sign in using your Apple ID.  You'll probably still have to wait 90 days.  Read this:  iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

  • Re-downloading all previously purchased songs

    Hiya,
Just wondering if there is a quick and easy way of re-downloading all previously purchased songs onto my iTunes (I have purchased a new computer and the old one is dead). I have already authorised this computer, but short of going and finding all the purchases I have made in the past, can I just re-download them to here?
    Cheers.

As Apple clearly point out in the Terms of Use / Purchase, downloads are allowed to be made once only.
You cannot download your music again, it is your responsibility to have made backups of your music files in case of loss.
Just as a record store won't replace a lost CD, Apple will not replace lost downloads.
I suggest you either transfer the music you purchased from the old computer to the new computer, or you get a copy of the music out of your last backup.
If you cannot access the old computer and you do not have a backup then do you have the purchases on an iPod / iPhone? If you do then you can connect the device to iTunes (DO NOT SYNC THE DEVICE WITH ITUNES as that would erase the content from the device). Once connected use the 'Transfer Purchases' option you will find in the file menu in iTunes.
If you have not got the music on an iPod, etc then all you can do is send a very polite and humble email to Apple using the 'Report a problem' feature in the Account area of iTunes and ask them to allow you to download all your music again. It has been known for Apple to allow this to be done, but they don't need to do so and may refuse.
If they do then you will have lost all your purchased music, your fault not theirs.

My daughter has used my computer to log into iTunes and download music but now it won't let me download recently purchased music from my iPad onto my computer. I want to transfer the recently purchased songs onto my iPod so how can I do this now? iTunes now says that I have to wait another 55 days! There must be a way to do this since I have paid for them.

In iTunes sign out of your daughters Apple ID and sign in with your own.
