I don't know what I downloaded that caused the problem, but now when I try to make a new folder on the desktop of my new Windows 7 computer, I have only the following choices: Shortcut, Bitmap Image, Contact, Microsoft Word Document, Journal Document, Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation, Text Document, Microsoft Excel Worksheet, and Briefcase. No new folder choice. Anyone have any ideas how I can correct the problem?

I just figured out a solution. I connected my ipod to my computer, went to the 'info' tab on the menu for my ipod. I checked 'Sync Mail Accounts', which were greyed out until I selected them. That connected me to the Cloud and everything went back to normal. Hope this helps someone else!

I guess you do't have a dvd drive on your new windows 8 computer?
Do you have access to another computer with a dvd drive?
Anyway if you can find another computer with a dvd drive you could copy the pse 5 install disc to removable device like a camera card or flash drive.
You can also buy cheap usb dvd drives.

Well, I'm not exactly sure. I suppose they may know if you have or have not purchased it since you are probably signed in...Or they figure it's an old enough program, and few enough people know about the serial number, that they don't care too much.

I am unable to download Adobe Photoshop 2 on the my new 64 bit computer. Is there any way I can acheive this? If not, I cannot afford the latest version, so which version could I buy more reasonably which would be compatible?

Well, pointless exercise. There is no way to get older versions other than buying used copies from someone else with all the trouble like having to do a Transfer an Adobe product license. The first version to certifiably run on Win 7 64bit is CS4.
