No. To go back to a previous version, i.e. iPhoto 8 from current iPhoto 9, you'd have to reinstall iPhoto from your backup or Time Machine or the disks that came with your Mac (unless your Mac is a new one that came with Lion preinstalled).
What version do you have running now and what version do you want to revert to? Why?
If you do revert to an earlier version you'll need to follow these instructions from iPhoto Library Manager website to convert the library back to the new version: Fat Cat Software - iPhoto Library Manager Help - Downgrading a library to an earlier version of iPhoto . Otherwise the older iPhoto will not open your library

have read the 'help' given for this question from another ipad owner --which was to download the current version and then might be able to get a compatable version --- but the new version will not download -- just tells me I have to upgrade to version 6 which is not possible on the 1st generation ipad! 'Remote' app requirements are stated as "software version 3.1.3 or later". I am running 4.2.1 and when I try to download it says 4.3 required.
OK, I understand that new versions make use of facilities that come with new versions of IOS, but there is/was a version that runs on 3.1.3 and therefore, I assume 4.2.1. Where can I get the (old) version that runs on my IOS?

This is standard for Apple. While there is little official mention of the software support lifespan for equipment, typical support has been about 4-5 years for computers. It strikes me that newer items, especially mobile devices, are not built as sturdily nor do they have the hardware upgrade capabilities required to keep up with newer systems. When we bought an iPhone 4S we were told by the person in the store we'd probably be looking at a newer model in two years. The iPhone 3G could be anywhere from 2 to 4 years old, putting it well into.
As for app availability, Apple typically pulls old software versions from its site when new versions appear. If it is a non-Apple app then I guess it is up to the vendor. It is indeed tiresome but it is not at all unusual. Since I only ever run used Macs, I download current versions even though my computer won't run them, stick them on a hard drive, then I have them when I upgrade to a newer used computer. If you run older equipment you have to learn a different mode of operation to exist with the Apple 'new and innovative' but 'forget about the old' philosophy. -

Open App Store > Purchases, and see if iPhoto app is listed. If not, unhide it > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928 Apart from that, check that iPhoto is in Applications folder. If not, put it in this folder.
If nothing works, remove iPhoto, open App Store > Purchases, and install iPhoto free of charge -

Once you have chosen your language and operating system type then download it from the list on that page.
Next you will have to uninstall the current version of Firefox by using the add/remove programs option under control panel. After the current Firefox has been removed you can then run the installer for the old version. Using this method will not save your bookmarks or any addon's/extensions so make sure you have a list of the addon's you want to get back and you can also backup your bookmarks from within your current version of Firefox prior to removing it.
Do note that some extensions that you may have installed were installed by 3rd party programs and they will not be reinstalled until the program that installed them has been either updated or reinstalled as well. -
I can't download the new version of iTunes. Halfway through the installation a pop up window appears saying, "There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program run as a part of a set up did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
Got exact same problem, was told to delete all old apple, quick time and bonjoir from computer then it would work. I use a programme called malware bytes and this takes everthing out of your computer right down to the roots but unfortunately I still have same problem

I have been a MacBook Air user. I use to love this and has purchased another one in 2012 (version 2012) - OS X 10.9.4 (13E28). Can someone show my how to undo the latest update? Now I can no longer put captions and add frame style on my photos! IS APPLE GOING BACKWARDS? THEY GIVE YOU ALL THE GOOD THINGS IN THE BEGINNING!!
Why can't I keep the old version of iPhoto? I am so disappointed with Maverick in view of (iMovie - can't burn) and the iPhoto - it has taken away the fun in producing photos and movies. I AM NOW LOSING MY TRUST AND LOOKING AT MOVING TO SAMSUNG OR OTHER OUT THERE.Just wait. When Yosemite comes out and includes the new Photos application we may get out keywords back. In the meantime you'll have to regress back to iPhoto 8.1.2 (09) and Mt. Lion.
Or with iPhoto 9.5.1 an easy way to see which keywords are assigned to a photo is select that photo's thumbnail and type Command + K to bring up the Keyword pane for iPhoto. All keywords shown in blue are those assigned to that photo: -

Where can we download the "old" speedgrade, so we can give better feedback for integration with aftereffects and premiere. I haven't used speedgrade, but I'm assuming it's like Davinci Resolve ... color grading is something you have to play around with a bit, to give decent feedback on integration. On one extreme, I like the ease of aftereffect composites. On the other hand, using graph operators (such as in Resolve and things like blender) ... is real nice ... but it's really not how i do work on the adobe side. I'm looking for a color grading approach that isn't for tier 1 film, but more for tier 2, independant and/or corporate work. I'd also love the ability to mix special effect compositing (like I currently do with AE), with coloring (which I currently have to do in in another program). I also have two work streams I would like to test, one RED and another 1080p for normal corporate stuff (which i currently don't color grade btw).
Anyway, I see some wierd links on downloading the old speedgrade, I don't see any download links on the speedgrade web page ... would be nice to see what the old speed grade does so I can comment competently.Adobe SpeedGrade CS6 is at the door, official preview will be held at NAB, I'm currently testing a preview version of SG CS6 and I want to say that it works very well, so stay tuned on the Adobe website.

Totally dissapointed in Adobe for lack of SG communication to keep my interest up.

I bought a new touch and tried to plug it into my pc. itunes said I need the 10.5 version with new ipod. I downloaded the latest version and when I try to install it to my pc it gives me the message that it can not remove the old version and contact tech support. Please help.
A window pops up when I try to install that says the old version of itunes can not be removed contact tech support. Then another window pops up that says the feature you ar trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select anyiTunesentries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
