Can I edit one project on two computers with external drive and two copies of software?

I have two copies of premiere elements. One on IMac and one on Macbook. Video files on external drive. I want to be able to edit same project on both. I originally started the project on macbook but IMac doesn't see the exsisting project. Can I do this? thanks for the help

The matter of the sign in/trial version has happened to me from time to time with Premiere Elements (I worked with Windows). I supply
the requested information and that usually takes care of that message for a long while.
What is the status of the issue now with the MacBook Pro to iMac projects? Is that matter restricted to just one project from MacBook Pro to iMac?
If so, on this particular one, did you try the Project Archiver/Copy Project workflow in MacBook Pro?
As for the error message...I am not a Mac user, and consequently I am not sure I am interpreting the following correctly. But take a look to see if any of it applies

I have my itunes on an external drive and would like to use it on both my laptop and my home PC (both are Windows XP). My laptop is what I have used consistently in the past without issue, but am having trouble opening it on my PC. Thoughts?

That might be a problem coz the library saves the full path of the files, so unless the drive is seen on the 2 computers by the same drive letter, that might not be possible UNLESS u have 2 libraries for each windows.
U could share the library on ur network at home, just enable library sharing in ur prefrences, connect it to one & play it on both at the same time

I need to know the best way to link multiple devices with different apple ids to the same iCloud to share iTunes and content.

My iphone 5s = apple id 1
Husband iphone 4s = apple id 2
My ipad = apple id 3
Son #1 ipad mini = apple id 4
Son #2 ipad mini = apple id 5
For iCloud.. Not quite, you want the same ID for iCloud on your phone and iPad so you have the same info on each. (so perhaps ID 1 on both.
But if you want to share your music (assuming lets say its your ID 1 that has the iTunes account), you should all use ID 1 for iTunes.

Merging two Podcast with same episodes and two different feed addresses

Version 7.0.1.8 has certainly problems in the download of new podcast episodes.
I'm having a lot of difficults - the last one beeing forced to unsubscribe one podcast and subscribe it again with another feed address. Now I have two podcasts in ITunes with same name. In Windows Explorer, all episodes are together - in the iTunes menu, all episodes are separated, each one downloaded the same episode, and with a number one appearing in the file name under the folder where the programs are stored. I tried to merge both subscriptions, but it's impossible.
Does anybody knows how to do this? Need I download all episodes again?

Hi, is the iMac also 10.6.8? I had an iMac die when 10.6.8 was installed, it worked at first but after some You Tube flash videos the screen just locked and no mouse clicking anywhere did anything. It turned out that most older iMacs [ mine was from august 2007] have a graghics chipset that can't handle Snow Leopard, there were [are?] 77 pages on this "locked screen"topic in the Snow Leopard forum. I checked out a web site that tells you how much your mac is worth by filling in the sereal number-mine was worth only $168, I may give it to a friend for his children to play with, although that seems unholy. I doubt anyone woud buy it,the problem is now so well known that even Apple certified resellars here in the Netherlands refuse to repair them,they claim Apple will revoke their certification if they replace the faulty Graphics unit,it is also VERY hard to get to that unit in an iMac, everything is so tightly packed inside.
If your iMac is running Mountain Lion[10.8.0] you may have to change the app store preference to accept apps from all sites,normally ML will only allow app store apps to be downloaded.

I'm a Mac. My wife is a PC. If we both link to an external drive and put all of our music on there, can we both access it from our own separate iTunes accounts via file sharing? Will she be able to put music I've downloaded on her iPod? Will I be able to do the same? So far she hasn't downloaded any of her own music onto her computer so if she were to remove her current iTunes from her computer and reload it using my account name, would we both be able to have full access to music both imported and downloaded from both computers? I had approximately 15 projects that I can no longer see in imovie. I have read almost every thread on this community for imovie regarding error messages associated with looking for clips. In each case I have rebuilt the project. However, today I continually received a message to search for a .dv file. I have located the file and even changed the .dv file to .mov file and yet none of my projects will appear. I have rebooted, deleted the plist and nothing works.
I was planning on buying a new Mac in 2014 with new editing, and use my old Mac as a backup for imovie files. Very frustrated that I can’t work with any projects now! I se the files in my Movies/imovies/iprojects folder but they don’t appear in the viewer.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get back my projects into the viewer? Or, can someone recommend a basic program compatible with imovie 08 that I can use to import my exiting projects into?

No, Wasn't sure if I could continue to upgrade to 9.0.9 since my Mac is relatively old.
Just don't understand why I have to keep starting a project over and over again. As I type this, the imovie icon is jumping and asking for "clip 135-02-05-05;27:15" cannot be found. 1) Open itunes on the computer you want to deactivate. Make sure you are logged in. Under the "Store" menu, pull down top "De-authorize this computer"
2) If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
Log in to iTunes, go to "view your account info" on the itunes store,
Deauthorise all five,
(Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months)
Then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time..
