I have a older Airport Express unit that requires Airport Utility 5.6. When I try to install 5.8 on my OS X10.8 iMac, I get the message "Airport Utility can't be installed on this disk. The version of Mac OS X on this volume in not Supported"
Why should I have to spend money to solve this problem? Many others have the same concern, Airport Utility 6 does not support older Airport Express units. This is Apple's problem. I've tried many solutions proposed on the net but none worked. I'm still trying for a work around.

FaceTime can't be installed on "HDD Name" because the version of Mac OS X is too new.
on AppStore it says:
FaceTime can’t be installed on “HDD Name” because the version of Mac OS X is too new.After upgrading my MacBook to Lion, FaceTime (purchased from the App Store) quit working. It would just hang when I'd hit the button to "Turn on FaceTime".
So from a terminal, I deleted:
/Applications/FaceTime.app/
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.FaceTime.plist
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.FaceTime/
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.FTMonitor.plist
/private/var/db/receipts/com.apple.FaceTime.*
Now, when I go to the App Store to install FaceTime, I get the same error as the OP. -

FaceTime is included in Lion. The App Store version is for 10.6. If you deleted it, restore it from a backup, or reinstall the Mac OS.

Can you clarify what exactly you are trying to do that generates this message?
IF....you might be trying to install AirPort Utility on your Mac....you already have the most recent version on your Mac.....and you cannot install an earlier version than you already have.
Check Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility -
Does the Professional Edition require an Apple Computer to Publish?
Does the Professional Edition require an Apple Computer to Publish like the Single Edition does? Are there other restrictions that I may not be aware of if I go the PC route?
I can' seem to find that information.OK.... So, do you need to have an app built if you go with the Professional Edition? At first I thought yes, but now I am realizing that with the Professional Edition, don't you get set up in the Newstand Store... which does or does not need an app??? And then what about the Kindle Fire and Android platforms... Do I have to manage all of those relationships myself or is that part of the professional package...
Again... if there is particular literature I need to look at... Please point me there. -

What your doing now is running the bare bones unsecure router which can be used harmfully against you.
Even a Apple Airport router has to be very well secured. The defautl cd and out of the box setup is not a secure solution. -
I had Premier pro given me by the college I attend and do no use wi fi and do not use cloud. My laptop completely died and will be sent back to Apple for exchange. How can I reinstall Premier Pro on a new Apple computer since the old one is completly dead and could not be unregistered?

You have not specified which version of Premiere Pro was given to you. If you don't have the disc (which i suppose you don't have) you will have to download it online.
As far as your registration is concerned, for Premiere Pro CS6 or earlier you will have to reach Adobe chat support for further help: http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
For Premiere Pro CC and later, you will not have much problems reactivating it.

Itunes can't access hkey_local_machine\software\apple computer, inc...
when trying to install 7.0 it says Itunes can't access hkeylocalmachine\software\apple computer, inc......check to see if you have access or contact your support personnel.
How do I give itunes access? I've tried regedit and everyone (myself) has full access.

Can I Edit SD and HDV footage at the same time in CS4?
I have a Sony PD 150 camcorder and I'm looking at buying a Sony HDR-HC# HDV 1080i camcorder to use as a second camera on video shoots. I have a Windows XP 2005 with 3.4GHz with 4GB of ram and it cant handle HDV for HD video.
I have a Sony HVR Z1U and use the in camera down-rez and edit in SD just fine.
Like said before you really need a new computer to edit the HDV but if your going to DVD then your only using SD anyway.
But to answer you question you can mix formats with CS4.
