Can I export Bins/folders created in Premiere Pro CS6 to desktop?

Recently I've started a slideshow project in Premire Pro. I organized all the images in Premiere by bins and started the project, although another software (ProShow Producer 5) have come to my attention, and I would like to continue the project in ProShow. Though my bins are organized inside Premiere and it would take me hours to go into the folders and pick out the correct photos again for the new project. My question is, can I export Bins/folders created in Premire to my computer? I know that the folders created in Premire are not real, though is there any pissiblity to duplicate the photos and place them into the bins/folders indicated in Premire? That way I can have all the folders ogranized and ready without the need to do it all again.
Are there any plugins that convert Premire bins into physical files?
Any help would be appriciated.
Thank you.

Sorry, but as Ann says, they are but mere links.
Which is why I generally arrange my clips and other assets into folders on my hard drive before I import them into Premiere Pro. First of all it is faster to import them and second it is faster to archive them.

  • Can you replace damaged frames with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 ?

Hello everyone! I'm new to Premiere Pro CS6 and don't know all the tricks (no previous experience with video editing). I have a video file that has some damaged frames (it is a VHS-DVD bad quality transferred file). I'm wondering is there is a way to replace the damaged frames with adjacent good ones so the audio is not disrupted (instead of just deleting the damaged frames). Please advise and be gentle . I'm a beginner! Thanks!
Damaged image                                                                                Good image next to damaged one

Thanks. I think I got it. I have two more questions. I'm trying to preview the video but it doesn't play in real time. The audio plays Ok but the video is lagging. I'm attaching my computer info so you can tell me if it is my computer's limitation.
Second question is regarding filters. In some parts of the video there's some horizontal lines scrolling down the screen. I wonder is there's a filter to minimize this issue before exporting. In the Export Setting I see only Gaussian Blur. I wanted to post a video sample but I don't see an option to post a video file that is not a link with a URL.

I switched to a Dell Inspiron 570 computer with better Processor: AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor 3.00 GHz and the video now plays in real time.

  • Exporting AVCHD for BluRay in Premiere Pro CS6

    Hello,
I have AVCHD files taken with a HD camcorder at its highest quality settings (HD FX - 1920 x 1080 - 24Mbps - H.264AVC).  I am looking for the most appropritate workflow to edit these in Premiere Pro CS6 and burn them over to BluRay using Encore, while maintaining the original quality of the AVCHD files.  Currently when I import the files into Premiere Pro, and preview the video clips in the sequence, the video appears as it does in the original files.  In PrPro, the properties of the AVCHD files indicate that they are at 29.97 fps, 1920 x 1080, with square pixels (1.0).  However, after exporting the sequence from Premiere Pro (via Media Encorder) to Encore, the video appears to have some jagged edges with some loss of video quality, and I would like to resolve this issue.  For the export settings I am using the H.264 BluRay default settings.  Please provide details on the correct/most appropriate settings that should be used to export the PrPro sequence to Encore with the above mentioned AVCHD files to Encore for recording onto BluRay while maintaining the original file quality.  Thanks.

Seaspray -  I will let the experts correct any bad advice here and perhaps I am adding nothing you already don't know or are doing.   I recently went through the same exercise being new to PP CS6.   Is that footage interlaced?    I first drug a sample clip to the New Item button to create a matching sequence.    I had some issues when I wasn't being careful about sequence settings matching, particularly putting interlaced in a progressive sequence.   When I was ready to export, I chose the H.264 Blu-ray preset closest to my source footage.   I made sure the key video characteristics matched - frame size, frame rate, progressive vs. interlaced, if the latter upper or lower, PAR, etc. etc.   In some cases I tweaked VBR vs. CBR and bit rates.    I then produced separate .m2v and .wav video/audio files.   Then I imported those files as assets into Encore.   You should then see Encore tell you it does not need to encode the video or audio after analysis.    Unfortunatley, this process does require one encoding, but I don't believe there is anyway around that matter as PP CS6 apparently does not support "smart rendering".   However, I think with just one encoding you are not going to see your footage noticeably degraded.    Agreed, none of the monitors in PP or Encore should be used to judge quality.   I also noticed major differences playing back files on my PC with various media players vs. PS3 + big TV.

  • How to Import Chapter Names Created in Premiere Pro CS6 to Encore CS6?

I edited a sequence in Prmiere Pro CS6 and then I created and named all my Encore Chapter Markers while still in Ppro. I then opened Encore CS6 and used the Adobe Dynamic Link to import my Premiere Pro CS6 sequence into Encore CS6 and created a new timeline from that sequence. I imported a Menu (which I created in Photoshop) and linked the first chapter to button 1 in my menu and then used Create Chapter Index to bhild all the menus. How do I get the Chapter names to automatically appear in these menus without having to retype each one?

Select a button and look at properties. Check the option "Set Name From Link." You can select multiple buttons and do them at one go.

  • How can I re touch the model in Premiere PRO CS6?

    Hello !
I am using Premiere Pro CS6. We are shooting a documentary where i have the host who some pimples, moles etc.
So How can i retouch it and make perfect ?

    Welcome to the forum.
One possible treatment, within PrPro would be to do a Track Matte Key, where a little bit of Blur is added. Once, there was a great tutorial on softening blemishes in skin tone, but it is no longer.
This article covers some of the high-points of the process. The success, and handwork, will depend on how much the host moves about: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4575874#4575874
Because so much can be Keyframed, and limited via Track Matte Keying, one is limited only by their imagination. I would first Duplicate the Clip, add a bit of Blur to that Duplicate, then limit that Blur to just the facial areas with a Track Matte.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - Beyond that, there are some neat tools in After Effects, that go beyond.

I am afraid you need to convert first.

  • Exporting multiple audio channels from Premiere Pro CS6 in MXF OP1a

I have a Premiere Pro project with multiple audio channels and I want to export them as individual channels in a MXF-file.
    Method:
When I created a new sequence I choose "Multichannel" from the "Tracks" page. When I export the MXF OP1a, I choose 8 channels from the "Audio" page. I make sure that none of the channels are muted.
    Result:
The rendered file contains 8 channels as I want it to, but only the first two channels contains audio (main left + right), the rest of the channels are empty. Channel 1 and 2 contains the audio from all channels, but I want the channels to be seperated in the same way as they are layered in Premiere.
Any ideas what I can do?
    Thank you for your help!

    Hey Guys,
I'm having problems exporting an 8 channel audio mxf for a broadcast client. The mix they want is as follows:
Track 01: Full Programme Mix L
Track 02: Full Programme Mix R
    Track 03: International Sound L
    Track 04: International Sound R
Track 05: Music and Effects L
Track 06: Music and Effects R
    Track 07: VO Mono
    Track 08: Interview Mono
I have setup the sequence following this video on vimeo and am fairly confident I have the sequence settings correct. https://vimeo.com/38501157
I also can export a multichannel mxf. But all my tracks are exported as mono and I am therefore not maintaining my L and R as set up in my sequence
The problem is on exporting that since Tracks 01 and 02 are bounced down to 1 + 2 it means that my Track 01 (Panned L) is getting bounced down onto my Track 02 aswell and thus it does not remain seperate. Has anyone delivered a similar format for a broadcaster and come across this problem with Premiere Pro and know a solution?
Any help would be much appreciated
    Thanks
    Eamonn

  • How do I export a menu created in Premiere Pro CS5 to Adobe Encore CS5?

    Hey everyone,
First time in here.  Trying some new things in CS5.  Anyway, I created a working DVD menu in Photoshop and brought it into Premiere to lay in some video and music.  The video is an inset that moves from left to right and sits atop the background created in Photoshop.  The file looks great in Premier and now I'm wanting to know how I can export this file so that it is a working menu in Encore and is the first play item for my completed DVD.  Can this be done?  Looking forward to the answers.
    GD

There are some very good Encore tutorials for making motion and video menus on www.lynda.com that you might find helpful.  If I understand what you are trying to do though, I don't think there is a direct method to accomplish what you want.
Let me ask you first, does the video inset that is moving across the screen have to continually be moving, or can you live with it moving from point A to point B at the start, then stop and become a normal menu with the video inset stationary?

  • Best Export Settings for SD in Premiere Pro CS6?

I have some old SD footage in AVI format. My client wants the best quality that will play smoothly in his Windows PC. I tried Quicktime  NTSC DV and I tried H.263, NTSC DV but both have jagged edges on all fast motion (aliasing). Any suggestions?

For PC playback, you always want Progressive (no fields), as interlaced video never works well for PC or web videos. I would recommend using H.264 and then there are many presets available. Look for a "480p" option and try a sample - some say Android, some say iPad, etc. but they will all play on a PC since it is just an .mp4 file. By choosing a preset with Progressive output, that will deinterlace the video.
Note that if the original video is widescreen, then you'll need to make sure that the export frame dimensions are 854x480 with square pixels (1.0 PAR) since anamorphic video usually doesn't display correctly.
The MPEG-2 previously mentioned may also be just fine, but H.264 is the newer and more efficient codec.

  • EDL created by Premiere Pro causing import failures.

    Hi,
I am experiencing failures trying to import EDL's created by Premiere Pro CS6 into Speedgrade.
So far I have found 2 scenearios where EDL import will fail with (unsupported edit info:  'W00l' in edit 6) when I try to import the EDL
    1.  playback speed on clip is less than 100%, it will fail to import.
    2.  if 'constant gain' audio effect is applied it will fail to import.
    wondering are these by design?
    Thanks
    Steve

I just got an error like this.  I do have some transitions and clips in the footage, and because of hte mix of video with timelapse, some go beyond 100% some go below.  How do you fix this?
    Edit:
I opened the .edl file and this is what is on line 35, I redid the export of the edl file, error changed.

  • Can't Preview HDV Capture In Premiere Pro CS6

I can't preview my HDV footage in Premiere Pro CS6.
I know I'm not supposed to be able to see anything in the Capture Window when I'm actually capturing HDV, but it says I should be able to see my footage when I am just previewing in the Capture Window.

    GTX 470
    Corsair AT 850 Watt PSU
    Thanks!

    Thanks Ann!
    I just figured it out.
I'm using 2 monitors in extended mode.
One is a VGA flat panel and the other is a DVI flat panel.
I had the Capture Window open on my VGA monitor.
When I moved the Capture Window to my DVI monitor, I got a preview picture.
It's funny, when I move the Capture Window from the DVI to the VGA while playing, playing stops.
And when I move it bak to the DVI, it continues to play.
Maybe because the VGA isn't digital?
Both monitos are hooked up to my GTX 470 GPU, so it seems wierd.
Any feedback on this would be welcomed.
    Thanks again!
