Can I Export from my Mac/iMovie to a Flashdrive Camcorder to TV?

Hi. I've never used a HD camcorder before or edited with HD (only MiniDV camcorders and SD editing).I'm considering purchasing a HD camcorder with internal flashdrive and SD slot to use with iMovie.If I do so I'm wondering …………after I've completed editing my iMovie project………..is it possible to export the finished movie back to the camcorder (as I have done with my MiniDV camcorder)…then connect the camcorder to a TV set (Standard or HD) in order to watch the finished movie on TV?And if so……how would I go about this? Yes…I know I could burn a DVD…….but since iDVD doesn't support Blueray burning…..I would be losing the HD quality………..so wondering how to watch the finished HD movie on TV other than by DVD? short answer: No.
long answer: perhaps ..
prob here is: AVCHD, which is in use on any (most...) flash-mem devices isn't just a file, but a complex structure. iM isn't able to create such a structure.
3rd party developer shedworx.com offers on its site a solution to 'play out' in AVCHD - no hands-on here.. try on your own.

AVCHD and SDcards are not meant as 'cassette replacement'.
your options are:
• invest in Toast10pluginext. BR-burner - create 'HDef disks'.
• purchase AppleTV (Apple's idea of homebrewn-video-delivery, not cheap but veeeery convenient)
• usage of a 3rd party MediaPlayer, recommended Western Digital HD Live, which is actually the only one which supports hfs+ (=Mac) formatted drives. you have to 'backup'/playout the projects anyhow.. so, why not suing the drive as a .. drive.
or buy a Playstation3 .. excellent Mediaplayer PLUS it's a .. play station .. says my son

Can't print from Intel Mac w/Snow Leopard to HP 2600

Can't print from Intel Mac w/Snow Leopard to HP 2600. Upgraded from OS 10.4 and printer showed on printer list along with an Epson scanner. but continually shows printer as offline. I finally deleted the HP Color Laserjet 2600n from the printer list. When I attempted to re-install it, it doesn't find the printer at all. I haven't attempted to use the scanner. I also went to HP and downloaded the driver, no luck. I've restarted the computer multiple times, tried it with the printer on, and printer off, as well as pulled the usb cable in and out both ends. No error message on the printer display and it gpes through normal warmup until it shows the green light. I run software update and it shows no updates needed. Help!

When you press print the first window is pretty basic.
When you select print on that the next window should have an advanced option.
Click that and see if any of the options in the 3rd dropdown box allow you to specify the 'paper tray'.

In this new windaow, click "advanced", go to "paper type/quality" and choose " best" and a photo paper. Then you will be able to choose a paper source (photo tray).
Once you have these settings, under presets do "save as", and you can choose the preset instead of going to advanced.
If you have the latest software and drivers downloaded from HP, this will work.

It is not possible to selectively export only part of the code for the exported page(s). The pages that are exported, all the code for them is exported, and there's no way to export only the HTML and leave out the rest of it.

I'm wanting to know if I put a Mac mini in target disk mode, can I boot from that Mac mini from my MacBook Pro. I'm wanting to set up a mini as a server but it may have to be the basic and ill install server on it but I prefer to do it without using a monitor. I'm curious to know if its possible.

You don't need a monitor with the MM, and neither boot in Target Mode. Like me, use screen sharing for remote access over the network:
On the MM, -> System Preferences -> Sharing, there check Remote Management and choose which user, if not all, may have access. If you're not the only one, you can limit access for each user under Options.
Under -> System Preferences -> Energy Saver, it makes sense to check Wake for network access.
Then you can log out from the MM, leave it sitting at the login screen and turn off or disconnect its screen.
On the remote Mac, open Finder and find the MM under Shared. Click in it, then on Share Screen. You'll need to enter the login credentials for your account on the MM, eventually save it to your Keychain. Then your MM's login screen should appear in a window on your remote Mac. You have now full access to the MM.

If new calendar events entered on your iPad do not appear on icloud.com, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar on your iPad and be sure you have selected an iCloud calendar as your default and not something else like On My iPhone, a Gmail or Yahoo calendar, etc. If you haven't, make this change, then add a new event and see if it appears on your calendar on icloud.com now.
If your settings are correct and new events still aren't appearing on icloud.com, add any missing calendar events from your iPad to your calendar on icloud.com. I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

How do I save an imovie project that I can't export from a 4th gen ipod touch?

My daughter created a movie in imovie. We can't get it to export. It says that there isn't enough space left. I have deleted everything off the touch except for imovie. When I started there were 1.2 gb free. For some reason it went down to 110 mb free. I have it back up to 956 mb free. I have no idea what is taking up all the space. Did it partially save another copy of the movie? I just want to save her movie for her, she's 10 and is extremely upset. The movie is almost 45 minutes long. I thought maybe I could cut in half and export it as 2 movies? I have no clue what I am doing. If you can either help me export the movie OR free up space on the ipod I would greatly appreciate it. Connect the iPod to your computer and launch iTunes. It will show up under Devices on the left part of the screen.
Click on it in devices and a serries of tabs will appear in the next window. Under the Summary tab you can backup the device to your computer. The other tabs allow you to sync to or from the iPod to the computer or computer to iPod.
Your goal is to remove apps and data from the iPod until you have enough room on it to finish and export the movie. Once you've shared it to iTunes you can remove it from the device to free up space and restore your data from the backup.
