Can I force sync the apps on my phone to override the settings on itunes?

I have several ipod iphone things that I sync to one computer. yesterday I restored an ipod touch that I have to replace. I right clicked once it was attached to sync if from an older restore. Once I did that I realized i had my iphone attached and not the new ipod touch. I quickly detached the iphone before it could restore, but now it won't sync anything. If I try to click on the apps or hit apply it tells me it will delete all my apps and the records in them. is there any help for me? I have all the info in the iphone but can't get it to let me manipulate any of the apps through itunes.

File>Transfer Purchases will transfer itunes purchases (including apps) from the iphone to the computer.

You don't send anything to the device with iTunes. You connect the iOS device to iTunes and the update service will handle any updates to iOS.

Also, if you are trying to download and install a copy of the iOS 6 *.ipsw file on to a device running iOS 7, you cannot do that and it will not work.

I am trying to download apps but all that is happening is that I get a waiting under the app. I am downloading from the app store. This has been going on for 3 days now, I can sync it to my PC and it will download the app but that's not what I want. Thank

I am trying to download apps but all that happens is the icon appears with a "waiting" underneath it. Updates do the same and so I am not able to download anything. I have rebooted the iPad this hasn't helped. I am able to sync the iPad with my PC and this updates everything. I would however not have to do this constantly. Any ideas on how to solve this download issue.

turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them

I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

What you need to do is connect your phone to iTunes but do not click sync. Go to File at the top and click transfer purchases from phone, that'll put all your apps into iTunes. When it's done transferring, locate your phone on the sidebar and click it. Then find the apps option above the picture of your iphone, you can select which apps you want or don't want on your phone. After selecting your apps then you can sync. Once you do this you should never have your problem anymore.

Eek. Sounds like something in the app caused some serious software issues. You can try a hard reset, but I'd imagine you're probably going to have to do an iTunes restore to get it running right again.

For voice memos, I have include voice memos when syncing selected under the Music tab for my iPhone sync preferences with iTunes which transfers voice memos from my iPhone to my iTunes library when syncing.

You can only sync with one ITunes library. It you switch iTunes library iTunes will erase the iPod and replace it contents with what is in the library of the new computer.

You delete the app as you do any other app. Hold an icon until they wiggle. Tap the "x". This is covered in the manual.

Try deleting that app, then see if you have the same issue.

That's a peculiar one to get in the context of a QuickTime uninstall.
Which particular version of QuickTime for Windows are you currently running? (7.7.5, 7.7.4, something earlier?)

Hi The next thing to do is to Restore back to Factory Settings this will get rid of any bugs . After Restore use same Apple ID /Password then you should get all your Apps & data back If you still have this problem make an Appointment at Apple Store . Cheers Brian

If you want seperate accounts for managing apps and purchasing content, basically yes, you need two account and would need to repurchase. However, if you just want seperate ID for iMessgae, icloud and such, you can do that and still continue sharing the same Id for apps and itunes.

The obvious way to resolve this on a computer would be to uninstall the app, then reinstall it, however on an iOS device that would cause all the data assoicated with the app to be thrown away.
Make sure your iTunes library has the latest updates for all your apps, then backup and restore the device. This should pull back a fresh copy of the app from your iTunes library and then give it the data from your device backup.
