I think my hub is dying -- can I get a free replac...

Every now and then my BT hub (router) seems to just turn off. I checked the electrics and plugged in other things/switched plugs but it made no difference.
Although it's working right now, I'm worried it might suddenly go when I arrive home one day from work.
Is it possible to request a replacement?
Or, can I buy one of them fancy shiny routers from PC World (etc...) and use that? -- I'm unsure what details I would need to hook up my BT Broadband to a none-BT router.

Have you tried reporting it as a fault to the broadband help desk on 0800 111 4567, you may get a replacement free of charge if it is deemed as being faulty.

I've had my iPhone 4S since February 2012 so obviously my one year warranty that came with my phone is done. Accidents happen, and apple can certainly assist you with replacement of said device. Most manufacters would tell you to buy a brand new retail unit, apple will charge you about half price for a replacement unit. I agree its unfortunate that it happend, but expecting a free replacement is just going to lead to disappointment

As a rule Apple will not replace the battery after the first year as the battery is considered a consumable item.
Also you have over the rated cycle count so the battery is Used Up, Consumed.
Now it all depends on what G bar you take it to and what G person you talk to but don't get your hopes up that you will have it changed for free. More then likely it Will Not be changed for free.

In the past the Apple Store has offered that promotion. Last year when I purchased my Macbook Pro I was not offered a free iPod. The Apple Store did run and summer promotion that year for college student; if you purchased a computer through the college portal in the Apple Store you recieved a $100 Appstore gift card, which came quite handy with some apps that cost money. But personally I would of been happy with an iPod instead.

No, Apple is not responsible for lost or stolen devices. If you enabled find my iPod, before it was stolen, you can lock / wipe the iPod if it's online. I connected my iPod shuffle 3rd Gen up via iTunes today only to find that Lion was displaying a generic drive icon for it in place of the iPod shuffle icon. I've since tried restoring the iPod using iTunes, and re-starting my MacBook Pro but it's not fixed it. There doesn't seem to be a standard icon library in Lion and I can't find any discussions about this on the various Apple support pages. Any ideas how to get it back?

You need to reinstall iWork from the original source or from backup. If you installed it from a DVD, the Mac App Store version isn't free.
