Can I get a Mini DVI (old type) to Mini DVI new type adaptor? Does it exist
I have a number of the old Ibook mini DVI to VGA/S-Video adaptors. My IBook died and got a macbook that has a mini DVI port - but not the exact same type as the Ibook. (Its NOT the Macbook pro type port). Does anyone know if there is a patch cord that has a male Ibook type mini DVI on one end and a female mini DVI on the other so these various adaptors I have will function.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Could it possibly be with the new software upgrade? I just updated from 10.6.1 to 10.6.2 and all of a sudden my Mini-Dvi to Video stopped working too. I'm using my Mini-DVI to VGA without problems at work with the same computer and a few minor adjustments to the display prefs.
Apple says the 10.6.2 update was supposed to correct display issues. Could they have accidentally deleted support for the adaptor while correcting other issues?
Perhaps the cheapest solution to this would be to downgrade back to 10.6. Any advice on this?
I'm running a 2.2 Core2 Duo MacBook from mid-`08.

You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

My old computer had itunes and downloaded songs that I put on my ipod. Well, my old computer got replaced years ago without saving hard drive info or passwords and my iPod burnt out years ago and will not activate. I now have a new computer and iPod and I have an iTunes account on my iPhone5. How can I get access to my old songs on new computer? Are they lost for good? I upgraded to IOS 7 and now I can't get my Hotmail account on my phone. When I type in all the information, I get "Unable to Verify Account Information". How do I get to use my Hotmail account using this software????
I have had the same problem as yours on my Ipad after upgraded Procreate 2.01. My iOS is 7.04. I tried to find solution from internet for weeks. Fortunately, the problem was resolved a few minutes ago. It is very simple,
1. Lunch outlook.com to confirm you can access hotmail mailbox. It means your account is Ok.
2. Go to setting>Mail,Contacts,Calendars.Delete your hotmail account from your device.(my device is Ipad)
3. Turn off your device, then turn on again.
4. Go to setting>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and create your hotmail account by tap outlook.com. Be sure the incoming mail server is pop3.live.com.
5. Waiting for validation.

What itunes version do you have?
Are you sure you have an ipod touch 4th gen? You said it was old, but the 4th gen is the latest ipod touch.

How did you format your Mac Mini? Did you restart into Recovery Mode (Command+R) and erased your Macintosh HD? Or did you use some external drive or DVD to erase it?

How do I get content from my old iPod Touch to my new iPhone 5? My iPod Touch is too old to use iCloud. I have activated the phone but am stick at the point of the set-up where my 3 choices are:
1. Set up as new phone
2. Restore from icloud Backup
3. Restore from iTunes Backup
thanks!If your iPod touch music is in your iTunes library, you just need to sync the new iPod nano with iTunes, the songs will be transfer to your new iPod. As long as they are already ticked in your iTunes then yes. Just to check do a sync and as long as everything stays the same you are good to go.
