Can I get a refund if purchased a iBook I did not want or I did not get a complete download?

I'm looking for similar info. I purchased an iBook that no matter how many times I downloaded it, it looked like crap and/or crashed the iBooks app so I want a refund. Did you find anything out?

You have to buy the DVD for 10.6. It's not available for download like 10.7.or 10.8. The 10.6 Snow Leopard DVD is in the Apple online store. You can get it for $19.99. You can try contacting apple customer service http://www.apple.com/contact but usually all app purchases are final and not refundable.

I know it is not much money but it is about cheating! Apple opened a platform for innovation or for people rubbing each other?
It should not be allowed that people put a fake app and charge money for it. That is bad busienss practice and damages Apple more than any body else. I only lost 1 dollar but will cost Apple much more since it made an unhappy customer who will say about her bad experience to at least 10 other people.

To restore app data, the apps have to be in the iTunes library of the computer on which you do the restore. The iPod ackup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.

I have a large desktop system running under XP Pro + SPs 1,2 and 3 that has several hard disk drives,
I like to keep my operating system on my C:\ drive, which is a small drive and over half full and all my applications on my much larger F:\ drive.
I now need to install either Acrobat Reader v 10 or else Reader and Air seperately.
How can I either;
ensure that these both install on my F:\ drive? or
if they insist on installing on my C:\ drive, can I move them to my F:\ drive without creating problems?

Hello,
Once you start the Adobe Reader X installation you will get a Windows which says : Extracting Installation Files, once its sucessfully Extracted the file you will get this window :
Just click on Change Destination Folder button and you will get this window :
From the top click on the Drop Down Menu and you will get the other Drives (As per your computer you will get F:)
You can select the Destination in F: drive

You should have been able to redownload them from the Purchases area without having to pay again. If you just didn't check there, there may be nothing that can be done but go here:

Have you tried deleting the book from iBooks and re-downloading it via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app ? If it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book and use the 'Report a Problem' link.
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.
