  • Can you get a refund of $$$ on a game - not compatible with Ipod?

I purchased a game to play on my Ipod Nano 1 but I didnt know that it would not work.
Is there a way to get a refund from Itunes and get my money back?
Is there a way to get a credit and use the money that I used for the game purchase towards future music purchases?

Apple doesn't promise refunds for accidential purchases.
Sometimes, though, you can be able to call Apple employees (1-800-MY-APPLE), and get the company to give you a refund to the accidential purchasing of that game.
Please do not count on it, though, because Apple doesn't promise or guarantee that they will give you a refund (or extra downloads), as they would have to pay for it.
    Good luck!

EDIT: I didn't know that, Chuck. I thought that accidential game purchases would probably be the same as music or other downloads. Maybe they do possibly give refunds for that; I'm glad you posted that link.

  • HT4009 How can I get a refund for my in-app accidental purchase?

I bought my 72-year-old Mother a new iPad 2 and she is loving it. I set up the account for her to purchase new games through the app store if she wanted, but she was not aware that the in-app purchases were real-life purchases, she thought it was fake money inside the game (now she knows). Is it possible to get a refund for this? I tried to do it through the 'report a problem' but it said it was not refundable and $99.99 is a very big mistake to make on her first day with the iPad.
    Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to contact iTunes Store Support.
You may want to consider turning off In-App purchases in the Restrictions:
Settings > General > Restrictions > Enable Restrictions > Create a passcode > verify passcode > Turn off In-App Purchases.

  • HT3702 How  can we get help on apps that we did not order?

We have been billed for apps that were not ordered.  Where is our contact point to discuss?

The most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company and report the unauthorized charges. Your card company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.
    Regards.

You've tried deleting and redownloading them and seeing if they then work and tried contacting the developers ? If you have and they can't/won't help then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • I purchased PDF Converter, it isn't what I needed for my files.  Can I get a refund?

After I purchased a PDF Converter, it isn't what I needed for my files.  Can I get a refund or a credit on my account?

Apple considers all sales as final. Apple expects folks to do theoir homework before purchasing. You will receive a receipt in your email for the purchase 24 to 48 hours later and you can use the Report a problem link to initiate a conversation with iTunes Support about a refund. Apple sometimes gives a one-time refund. The question for you is do you want to use this one-time refund on this app or save it for a more costly app in the future?

  • What if my daughter accidentally downloads something and it charges my credit card $99.00, i have deleted the app she installed can I get a refund?

What if my daughter accidentally downloads something and it charges my credit card $99.00? Can I get a refund? I deleted the app!!

Further to the other points, what you might want to do is
    - first, make sure your daughter does not know your password, and change it if you suspect she does;
    - second, turn off in-app purchases, and set your iPhone/iPad to require a password on every purchase. See this article:

Sorry, it appears you were scammed. The phone you have was replaced, either under warranty, or as an out of warranty replacement, & should have been returned to Apple. Unfortunately, some unscrupulous retailers will fix these phones, & then re-sell them. Your only option is to go back to whoever you purchased the phone from & confront them
