Hi, I dropped my Iphone 4 in water recently and now the phone is dead (doesn't turn on at all)
Can I go to the apple store and pay for a replacement, and if so how much?
and also would I get the phone on the spot or would I have to wait?

How can I get a replacment iPhone?

I have an old iPhone 5 that is a very bad shape. It is cracked on both sides dented all over and the battery drains extremely quickly. I'm also out of warranty. Can I go to the Genius Bar give them the old phone and $149 and leave with a new one? Or is that only if in warranty? What about the express replacment service?

You can make an appointment at the genius bar and see if they will sell you a replacement.

With iPhone 4 Apple will not replace the screen. They will replace the entire iPhone 4. If you want the screen replaced on the same iPhone 4, you have to do it yourself.

Within the warranty period, unless the failure was caused by accidental damage it will be replaced for free.

The warranty is only good in the U.S.
You woulod have to send it to someone in the U.S. They could take it in and if it is defective, then it would be replaced.
