Can I get a replacement?

I ordered my C2D MacBook the day they were released. When I recieved it I noticed a whine, and called Apple about it. I had it for about a week and then I took it to a repair center. They kept the computer for three weeks, and did nothing about the whine, even though when I spoke to Apple they said "The only way to get rid of it is to have the computer repaired, take it to a repair center and they will fix it for you." I also showed the technician personally what the problem was, and he thought it was the logic board. He said he was going to replace it, but he never did. So, I got the computer back after three weeks, and they had done absolutely nothing.
Then, the day after I got it back, a bit of the plastic next to the hinge broke lose. Since it's next to the hinge, I can't close the screen. Well, I suppose I could, but then that bit of plastic would break. Here's a picture of the problem:

Do you think I can get a replacement from Apple? I mean, I had it for a week, and then it needed repair. It was a totally new machine. Then I got it back three weeks later, and they hadn't done anything, even though they gave me the impression that they knew what the problem was. After that a bit of the casing brakes (this was last friday evening, so I haven't been able to call Apple Store, but I'm going to do that tomorrow). When I took it to the repair center, I was still within my two week return period. I don't want to take it to service again (which is quite cumbersome now that I can't close the lid), only to have them look at it for three more weeks. I actually need the computer now, so what I would really want is for Apple to send a replacement and then pick this computer up when they deliver the replacement. What do you think?

Yes, the whine is exactly the same as when I brought it in. They told me that they didn't do anything. The problem by the hinge occurred last friday. I tilted the screen because I was going to check for something behind the computer, and I heard a crack. Then I noticed what had happened.
I don't want to take it back, because it took so much time last time I did that. I think it's lousy of Apple to tell me they're going to repair it, and then keep the computer for three weeks only to do nothing. I need this computer now, that's why I bought it. A brand new computer shouldn't need to be repaired.
