Can i get a sound card that doesn't crackle or distort for gami

Hi. I have been thinking about getting a soundcard basically for gaming (battlefield 2 & battle for middle earth 2). What I want to get out of it is to maybe take some of the load off my system by getting a sound card to take care of sound tasks giving a slight boost to game performance while at the same time improving sound quality. I would use the card for only mp3s, games, and dvd movies.
I was looking at an x-fi xtreme music and did research and saw this thread about crackling which scared me. Basically if I got a card that crackled it would be considered a bad move no matter what the other advantages. I want a card with absolutely no crackles and that is priority number . Should I get a Audigy2 ZS then instead or will it crackle too? The price difference doesn't play a factor (looking at the $00 range) I just want great stability with no distortions and slight boosts to sound quality and system performance. What should I get? My specs are below.

looking at the threads in this forum, one may get the impression that there's a lot of problems with x-fi cards. that's of course an illusion, this forum simply attracts the people with problems. i personaly know of at least 2 friends or relati'ves with a x-fi, no one, me included, has problems. of course there's no guarantee, so if you want to be on the secure side, buy your card somewhere which grants you the right to exchange it...

I have just checked your account and found that you indeed have bought a Creative Cloud for Teams subscription but you have assigned the single seat to another user hence you ( If you are using your own Adobe ID ) are getting the trial error message.
Two options : Either reassign the seat to your self or add an additional seat and invite your self in the same Team.

Can't find drivers for SB0410 SBLive! 24 bit sound card that came with Dimension 8400

I cannot find the sound card drivers for Model SB0410 (SB Live! 24 bit) sound card that came with a Dell Dimension 8400... the update is on the Dell website and the Creative Labs web site- but not the original drivers.
This peripheral is not recognized by WinXP Home. No "Drivers or Utiiltes Disc" were included in the original shipment of the computer either....
I Googled and searched the Internet- cannot find drivers, whatsoever.
What's next?

iTunes may still ask you for information from your card on file if that information has lapsed or needs updating. The card information on file has to be correct, no matter what purchasing option you will be exercising for this purchase.

Can you add a sound card to Slimline s7627c?

I am a music writer and arranger using Cakewalk software. The internal sound card in my Pavilion Slimline s7627c doesn't seem to like the full duplex requirements of recording one audio track while listening to others without crosstalk. Does anyone know if you can disable the current sound card (Realtek), and install an aftermarket card using the PCI slot currently holding the modem card (which I don't use. I use the ethernet port). Or can the current sound card be replaced?

[SOLVED] Can't get any sound working at all

I've just installed Arch again on my MacBook 5,2 and I can't get any sound (speakers or earphones) to work. I've tried the ALSA wiki page for troubleshooting, but none of that has worked. Does anyone have any ideas where to start with this?

I have Vista with sound blaster audigy advanced MB factory installed. I installed Roxio 9 and I can't hear what I'm recording from line-inbut I can hear it after it's saved.
What I really?want to record is?the sound card or internet radio but when I click on record sound card in the Audio window the next window is the recorder and?under the box Capture From: [??]? my options are [Line-in] , [ rear mic], and [front mic]. I can't select a sound card. Running VISTA RTM - I have a Li've!24 and have installed the latest beta drivers. All I want to do is pass AC3/DTS thru to the SPDIF so my receiver can decode. This is not working, so I quess the drivers are not ready. Can I get AC3/DTS pass thru to SPDIF on ANY sound card that creative sells today? If so what models. I'll buy it IF it works!!! Ok, I quess I wasn't clear. I can get VISTA to output sound to the SPDIF with any of the motherboards or sound cards I listed. However, VISTA is down converting everything to 2 channel PCM first. It is not doing a straight pass-thru of AC3 or DTS. how can i get my bank card off my apple id account. i have recently found out that money has been coming out of my bank account that im not spending, we figured it is a glitch in between the ipad that me and my grnddaughter have. she used her apple id on my ipad 3 when i first got it and then i changed it over to mine but then she got a ipad 4 adn started using her apple id on it but every thing she buys or her friend that has used her account but got off of it and then bought stuff off of their own account, but for some reason everything they buy on there accounts money comes out of my bank account because she used her apple id on my ipad and then we switched it over to mine........ so some one please tell me how to get my bank card off of my apple id account and how to possible try to get my money back.... because it has took 80 bucks out of my bank account for 2 months and i cant afford that its to close to christmas for this so please help me..

HT2534 I keep getting "security code invalid" on a card that has been on my acct for over a year.

I keep getting invalid security code on a card that has been on my account for months. I've been making purchases often with no problems. Now I can't even download updates. I've tried removing the card, but this also has been proving very difficult to do. Please help me. I know others have had this problem in the past, but still haven't found a resolution. Log onto iTunes on your computer, then update ur current credit card info with spaces inbetween the 4 sets of numbers then put in ur exp date and security code and all that info. im not guaranteeing this will work but it did for me.

Skype can't access my sound card

Skype can't access my sound card. It fails every time and says "problem with recording device."
I've tried running it as an administrator, uninstalling and reinstalling, I'm pretty sure I've turned off any realtek sound effects or enhancements. I've made sure that applications can take exclusive control, but nothing has helped so far. DirectX diagnostics attached below

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool.
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.

Only Apple Account Security could help at this point. You can try calling Apple Support in Canada - you'll have to find one of the several ways, such as Skype, to call an 800 number from outside of the relevant country - and ask for Account Security and see if they can help. Or you can find a friend who speaks Chinese and ask them to help you talk to Apple Support in China. There are really no other options that I know of.
Note, by the way, that these are user-to-user support forums. You aren't speaking with Apple when you post here.
