Can I get a tuneup or preventive maintenance for my Pro?

My MacBook Pro is a little over four years old and I am concerned about its performance. We have a an IPhoto library with about 138GB of content and iTunes with 8.2. Aside from photography we mostly use it for web browsing and a little bit of Word and Excel. I have about 185G of available space on my hard drive. I am on OS X Yosemite with a 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5 Processor and 4G of Memory.
Over the last few months I find changing from web site to web site and program to program is often very slow. I may click on a bookmark and the color wheel goes on and on that seems like forever. When I click on "About this Mac" to get the info for above, it did not instantly open up and instead I saw the color wheel doing its thing for several seconds. Too many times it gets hung up and I have to force quit. I NEVER have a lot of open pages or more than two or three apps running at the same time.
I am not technically savvy enough to go in an delete various things from areas where I do not understand what they do.
I would like to know if Apple offers a "tune-up" type service or if they can do anything to determine if something is wrong? OR, if there is a trusted program I can use that will clean things up and improve the performance? And is such a program worth a try?

Dear experts,
I want to implement Preventive maintenance for equipments installed in plant area.
Requirement is that i should be able to create a maintenance plan & schedul it as per the due dates. Maintenance order should get created. This order can be linked to the service contract item for which service entry sheet is created & released.
I want a control on service entry sheet creation if the order is not settled or the related inspection lot which is generated is not confirmed.
Please give advice ,how to proceed.

Not sure on clearly what u need .. but have a look at some of the plans and examples of their usage for better idea ..
1. Types : Time Based or Performance Based
2. Single Cycle Plan [Time Based] : Ex u2013 Maintenance of a Vehicle every 03 months
3.Single Cycle Plan [Performance Based] :Ex- Maintenance of a Vehicle every                                1000KM .
4.Strategy Cycle Plan [Time Based] : Ex- Maintenance of a Vehicle every 03                                            months, 06 months etc.
5.Strategy Cycle Plan [Performance Based Plans] : Ex u2013Maintenance of Vehicle                                                                          every 1000km , 2000km etc.
6.Multiple Cycle Plan with single cycle set [Time or Performance Based] : Ex u2013                                                    Maintenance of a vehicle every 3months or                                  500km
7.Multiple Cycle Plan with Multiple Cycle Sets [Time of Performance Based] : Ex- Maintenance of a Vehicle every 3months or 500km and 6months or 1000km
8. The above given are explained with callobject as Maintenance Order. For getting inspection Lot then you can use order type PM05 calibration order in your Maintenance Plan and MO gets created as per the plan cycle and inspection lot gets created once u release the MO ..
9. If you want MP related to service items then create MP with service procurement as Maintenance plan category in IP41 .. for remaining you can put MO as Maintenance plan category .. for details refer to SAP Help ..

Preventive maintenance for maintenance assembly

          I want to Preventive Maintenance for Maintenance Assembly.( IBAU). When I create a maintenance plan I cant specify Assembly ( Only Equipment or Functional location can be selected).
            I checked the customization settings where I have specified Screen object type as FLEquipmentAssembly but still i cant see Assembly field in the maintenance plan.

          The problem is that i can select the Reference Object screen for a particular main. plan category in customizing , but even if i select FLEquipmentAssembly- O100 in customizing (Backend) it is reflecting as FLEquipment in the IP41,42 screen. If I Select O110 - EquipmentAssembly in the customizing it is reflecting as Equipment only by any selection Assembly is not coming.
            I guess any table is not included but i am not sure.
             do u know where these screen types -O100,O110 are defined.

Thank You. This helps me alot to get into the masters and to see events and photos in a utilitarian way, but it is not as easy as viewing the normal iphoto format to find photos. Can I do something else or did I not do something right to not see normal iphoto in Time Machine ?

In Oracle Applications, we are getting the following error while performing ROLLBACK to a Savepoint.
"Unexpected Error: ORA-01086: savepoint 'PTNR_BULK_CALC_TAX_PVT' never establishe d ORA-06510: PL/SQL: unhandled user-defined exception"
So how can I get a list of active savepoints for the current session?
Could you please also let me know if there is any better way to debug this issue.
Appreciate any quick response as the issue is very critical.

There is no way to get a list of active savepoints. Is this your code or a "canned" procedure? If it is your code you can go through the code looking for answers, possibly tracing execution using DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE or writing messages to a log table. If its a "canned" procedure you may need to open an SR with Oracle

For iBooks try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that the app is in your purchase history. Then on your iPad go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app and see if you can download an older compatible version of it.
You can also try similar for the Kindle app - I don't know whether Amazon have made older versions of their app available in the store, so it may not work for that. If not, then as a work-around you could use their cloud reader 'app' : http://read.amazon.com - go to that site on Safari on your iPad and then create a homescreen shortcut for it (kindle cloud reader help)

Adobe's Flash player is already on my computer from IE 8. How can I get Firefox to see that it is already on my PC and use it so I don't have to download it again and possibly create other problems. Also, in my efforts to download Flash, Firefox activated IE which made me concerned that proceeding WOULD cause problems our just leave me where I am now where IE can use Flask but Firefox cannot.

Internet Explorer uses a ActiveX version of the Flash player plugin as it does not work with other browsers.
Download the Plugin-based browsers version from https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html and make sure Firefox is closed when you install it.
