ok i have an ipod touch but want to upgrade to an iPhone and give my ipod to my brother. the only thing is my dad wont let me off sprint. Is it possible that i can just buy an iPhone and use it as is so it would be just like an iPod touch with a camera and speaker....and free updates.
I herd u cant leave the Apple store or AT&T store with out putting it on an account.
could i buy it at like best buy or ebay or the online apple store and not have to do that?
would that effect anything other than no txting,phone and 3G network?

No you cannot do that.
The iphone is subsidized, which is why it is only $199/$299. AT&T takes a loss on the sale of the iphone in exchange for making the money back on a two year contract.
There has been talk that they will sell it without contract in the future for $599/$699.
Sorry, but there are no free lunches.

what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what do you see when iPhoto opens?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

not sure if this is a permanent fix but, ever since upgrading to itunes 11.3.1, my iphone5 seems to finish syncing on its own, now. didn't seem to be a problem anymore. at least after doing only one sync, since the upgrade.
(stiil have a blank "purchased" page at itunes store, though).

How is iTunes telling you it is unlocked? Did you go through an unlock procedure with your cell company and then Restore it in iTunes?

2. Your phone is jailbroken.
