My boyfriend lives in South Africa and I live in Denmark. Can I get a local number in S.A. even though I ldon't live there? That would make his calls to me MUCH CHEAPER for him. Or can I only get a local online number from the country that I live in?

Hi Sheila,
In most of the cases it is not required that you are the resident of the country you are purchasing the Online Number for, but in some cases it is required. South Africa is one of those countries where only residents can buy Online Numbers.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

Ug. I'm in the same boat: I'm unavailable, and can't change my status. I can't even see my list of buddies, the window is gone, and I can select that from the menus. I'd toggle the preferences for my accounts, but, alas, the preferences menu item is also greyed out.
The only piece of UI that shows is the "Messages" window for sending a new message.
Does anyone have a suggestion about how to get out of this situation, short of uninstaling?

Not directly no. However if they have an enabled app or an enabled website and you have an iPod/iPhone/iPad, you could use Airplay to stream them to the Apple TV.
Note though, not many that provide content on a computer via the web want you to be able to watch it in comfort on a TV, so there isn't all that many providers that enable Airplay.

It sounds like you may need to hide these purchases in the iTunes Store in order to prevent them from displaying on the Apple TV. Take a look at the article below for more information.

It seems to be enough to create empty folders at “/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk” and “/System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle”, to make Illustrator use Jave SE 8 as it should.

I remembered there is online help in SQL*Plus when I used Oracle7. After exec $ORACLE_HOME/bin/helpins,we can type HELP command in SQL*Plus to get a online help, such as:

I know $ORACLE_HOME/bin/helpins actually create HELP table in SYSTEM schema and load tree files (plshelp.ctl,plushelp.ctl,sqlhelp.ctl) in $ORALCE_HOME/sqlplus/admin/help directory. However,in Oracle8i or later, there barely contain any useful commands help-line in that three load files. So I can't get new commands info for Oracle8&9i when I use SQL*Plus.
Who can tell me where can I get new version of those three load files? I really want them!

Can't get laptop online with WRT54GL

I've got a Dell Studio laptop running Windows 7 that I'm trying to get onto a wireless network with a Linksys WRT54GL router. I can see and "connect" to the network fine, but in the Network and Sharing Center, it's stuck "Identifying" the network, so I can't get online.
Same thing happens when I plug in an ethernet cord.
My NIC is a Dell wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-card, showing no errors in device manager.
My IPv4 is set to obtain IP address and DNS server address automatically.
My TCP /IPv6 is set to obtain IPv6 address and DNS server address automatically.
When I run an ipconfig /all, my:
IPv6 address is fe80::c8a5:4afb:22b7:d165%15
IPv4 address is 195.254.209.101
Default gateway is blank
The router does NOT have MAC address filtering on.
The router has all green lights and CAN access the internet with my desktop ethernet connection, which is how I'm posting this.

Did you enable wireless security on the router? You may need to change the SSID and channel on the router.

to register an online number. I get to this page but then I can't get further. I can't click on any of the countries that you are suposed to do to register you region etc. What is the problem?

Hi, I only have skype credit which allows me to make calls out from my desktop pc. But, I would like an online # to be able to have people call me, and possibly a voicemail. However, when I tried to go through the steps to get an online #, I entered my area code and nothing happened.
Am I doing somehting wrong? Or do I need an account with a monthly contract and pay a monthly fee to set this up?
