Can I get around the 7 burned CD max?

Every Christmas I make a mixed CD for my close family members - 15 or so - as a present. Over the past year I have made alot of iTunes downloads, and wanted to use them on the mix, bnd apparantly I can't do more than 7. Is thound this? I am not trying to make money of this. None of the songs are from the same album. I am sitting here on Christmas eve with no gifts to give tomorrow. Is there a way around this? If I can't get around this, I'm not sure why I would purchase my music on iTunes.

Not legal.
I am not trying to make money of this.
Doesn't matter.
The point is the artists aren't making any money off it either.

You also shouldn't make copies for others of any copyright music, whether it's CDs or downloads from anywhere else.
This limitation was put in iTunes to appease the record cmpanies so Apple could sell their music on iTunes.

    I have gone through all the various reset methods but can't get around the disabled status??
    Can't see another way to reset it.

    Only wanted to give the youngest daughter the iPad to take to school.

    Thanks

    Is this how you do it?
    1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
    2. Connect USB cable to computer
    3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
    5. Release the Home button
    6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
    7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
    8. Use iTune to restore iPad
    Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

  • HT201365 How can I get around the system lock pin code  if I dont know what it is? I have my username and passwork

    I have switched on my MAC after 2 months of no use and I am getting the grey screen asking for a system lock pin code, I dont know what it is, how can I get into my MAC?
    Many thanks

    That sounds like it's requestion the Find My Mac passcode.  If you don't know it, you'll have to take it to a nearby Apple store with proof of purchase/ownership as only they can unlock it for you.

  • How can I get around the -40 import error?

    I'm using iMovie 3.03 and just found out that the -40 error I get when importing videos is due to a 9 minute (and 32 seconds) limit. My imports (1 mov and 1 avi) are just over 14 minutes each. Does anyone know of a work around for this problem? Or of any 3rd party software that will allow me to cut the import in half so I can bring each file into iMovie in 2 parts?
    Thanks for any advice you can give.
    YH!

    OK... I went to the site and downloaded the app. I ran it and it exported 9 mins of the file and then would not export the other half and gave me an error: NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError:4
    Then I put the app on my desktop and changed the length of the file exported to 8 mins (using the instructions given with the download. When I ran it again, it said I needed Quicktime Pro to run it.
    So... now what I don't want to do is buy Quicktime Pro and find out that it still won't work. Would Quicktime Pro be able to do split the videos? Or at least be able to cut half of the video off and save as another file name?

  • How can I get around the character limit in the "print pages" option

    I have a rather large PDF file and I need to print certain pages (for example, pages 1, 324, 456, 759, 812, 946, 1206, 1562, 1792, etc.). However, when I click on print and try to type in the pages, there is a character limit, and it is much smaller than the number of characters I need to type. Is there a way around this? Thanks.

    OK I figured out the answer. Ctrl+J opens up the console (You have to activate javascript). The following script will extract the pages into a new document, and then you can simply print those pages. All you need to do is fill up the "pageArray" array with a list of your pages, separated by commas. It does not support ranges.
    // Extracts all pages listed into a new document
    var pageArray = [INSERT YOUR LIST OF PAGE NUMBERS HERE, SEPARATED BY COMMAS];
    if (pageArray.length > 0) {
    var d = app.newDoc();    // this will add a blank page - we need to remove that once we are done
    for (var n = 0; n < pageArray.length; n++) {
    d.insertPages( {
    nPage: d.numPages-1,
    cPath: this.path,
    nStart: pageArray[n]-1,
    nEnd: pageArray[n]-1,
        // remove the first page
        d.deletePages(0);

  • Can I get around the password

    Hi everyone I'm new to this site, however I've had my blackberry storm for about 2 years now. Last week I was robbed and the man took the phone from me, and in order for the police to catch him, they told me to leave the phone on so they can track him.
    As of yesterday they did and retrieved the phone, but while he was using my phone the entire week, (I guess he assumed it was his forever) he put a password ON the phone. I have yet to get it from the police, but this is what they are telling me.
    The only things I really need from the phone are the memopad entries.
    So I guess my question is, is there a way for me to either backup the phone while it's locked (i've backed it up a few times on my computer just not often) and save those files in particular and everything else, then insert the passcode 10 times and clear everything? or is it possible for the code to be reset without me losing all of my info?
    I own the phone personally so I don't think it's in conjunction with the BES...but i have synced it to my computer a few times (last backup file was in April) and registered the phone using my email earlier this year.
    Any ideas/ input would be helpful!

    Hi,
    There isn't a workaround for the password. Access to the device via USB or BlueTooth
    requires the password be entered by design.

  • How can I get around the find bar no longer being shared between tabs in the latest version of Firefox?

    Previously, one could open a new tab and the find bar would remain at the bottom of the page from the previously opened tab. So, for example, I could search for something in a tab I open, open a new tab and the same find bar would be at the bottom so I could search the new website for the same thing. Any way around this?

    Hi,
    This function is no longer officially in Firefox, however this addon replaces it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/find-in-tabs
    Hope this helps!

    iTunes.msi
    Perfect, thanks.
    Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Any ideas how I can get around the password and login. I tried the method where you go into single user mode and type in commands, however that method uses some of the letters that are not working on my laptop.

    You didn't mention which version of OS X your running but there are password reset utilities provided OS X: Changing or resetting an account password (Snow Leopard and earlier) - Apple Support  or  OS X: Changing or resetting an account password - Apple Support
    Alternately you can use an external keyboard to log in and change the password. Make a backup if you don't have one, it's likely that your problems aren't over. If that water continues to migrate downward and fries the logic board your macbook will be toast.

  • I have an older version of iTunes on my office computer and it will not let me update to the current version without an administrative password. How can I get around this??

    I have an older version of iTunes on my office computer and it will not allow me to upgrade to the newer version without an administrative password. How can I get around this???

    If you have an iBook G4, (PPC) you can't do much.
    But if that is a MacBook (intel) you may be able to
    upgrade the OS X, if the hardware is up to it...
    Since there were about nine different build models
    of MacBook (not powerpc iBook) to identify what
    one you have would be the first step to knowing
    what OS X and RAM upgrades it could use.
    If the computer is not already at OS X 10.6.8,
    it can't go online to get or use OS X 10.7.5. So,
    when you more accurately describe the 'Book,
    detailed information is available.
    When you find the serial number, there is a web
    page that can be used to identify by serial no.
    http://www.powerbookmedic.com/identify-mac-serial.php
    That'd be a first step. Or even the Model number
    which should be visible on the outer case by hinge.
    Good luck & happy computing!

    - Try contacting iTunes for the password problem:
    Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us
    - For the other problem you can try a reset. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - The next standard thing to do is to download/install a new app but you cant 'do that.
    - Instead, try restoring from backup.

  • Can thieves get around Find My iPhone in the iOS 7 version?

    Yesterday at the Seahawks game my 5S (32gb, gold) fell out of my pocket when I was jumping like crazy during a Marshawn Lynch touchdown. Someone right next to us picked it up and turned it off right away. My husband immediately put it into "stolen" mode in Find My iPhone, and it had been maybe 10 minutes at the most since it fell out of my pocket.
    We did all the right stuff--that phone won't work on the AT&T network at all, we keep checking in with security to see if someone it was left in the stadium, the Seattle PD has an open case, and Apple has the relevant info with the serial number and such. It had a passcode lock plus my fingerprint ID in use.
    Unfortunately, the thief still hasn't turned it back on. And I've tried researching but wanted to see if you smart people have any insight here--is there a way someone can still get around this? Like, is there a sophisticated way they could jam the cell signal, not turn on wifi, and somehow break into the phone and jailbreak it or whatever? Or is there hardwired means that the serial number or whatever Apple accesses to ID it as a stolen device just can't be overcome?
    Basically, I REALLY hope that it's a brick with absolutely no way to overcome it and by some miracle the phone gets turned in. Our son, who is almost 3, has autism and doesn't speak. The other day he started pointing out letters to me and saying them and it was such a beautiful moment and I grabbed my phone and got it on video, plus I got some cool videos of the actual Seahawks game. We're HUGE fans and only go about once a year. So I'd really love to, by some miracle, get those back.
    BUT if I can't get the phone back, ever, I REALLY just want the peace of mind that it's an unusable brick and there's no way that some ahole out there is going around using my phone, nor that they were able to make it usable and sell it and some unknowing person paid $600 and now gets to use my stolen phone.
    Anyway, when I called Apple the guy said there's no way that phone can ever be used, no matter what, unless they put in our Apple ID and password, and that it is completely impossible to break into the software and wipe it without accessing the internet, which means we would immediately get the location notification. Even the police officer who took my report said she doesn't understand why people steal iPhones because they are complete bricks and there's no way around it. Still, I just feel like if that were true people wouldn't keep stealing iPhones.
    So do any of you have any insight? Thanks for entertainging my obsessing over this shat situation.

    I should clarify: I didn't know it fell out, but I check my phone often enough that there were only about 10 minutes between when I last put it in my pocket and then realized it wasn't there.
    We asked everyone around us if they saw it, and like 10 people were helping us look. But my husband used Find My iPhone and the Prey app right away when we realized it was missing (again, at most 15 minutes from the last time I used it) and it was already in offline / "cannot locate" mode.

    You don't. If you use a 3rd party to "fix it" or attempt to do it yourself, Apple will reject the return and charge you the full price of the phone as if you had not returned it at all.
    It's too late. You should have been backing up before it failed.
