Can i get Blackberry Messenger 7.0 on my curve 9300?

I've read up on some topics but I'm still confused...
What exactly is OS? And if I have OS 6 would I be able to download the new bbm 7?
I currently have bbm v6.1.0.49 but when I go to upgrade to bbm 7.0 it says I can upgrade to bbm v6.2.0.44...no option to download bbm 7.0 but the description of it is at the bottom of the page...
What can I do???

I followed everything you've said but still nithing hapoens, it keep showing me "Setting up bbm" and a "blue screen".

Can't Get Blackberry Onto The Internet

Hi Everyone!
Sorry if this has been asked before. I've been given a Blackberry Pearl on the T Mobile network. My SIM card is on Virgin UK so it lets me make calls and receive text messages but whenever I try to get on the internet it says there's a problem and to talk to my service provider.
I've spoken to Virgin who said the following settings need to be entered but I can't find where to do it, all the places I've tried haven't worked. If I can't get on the internet with Virgin I'll have to move to another network, I just want to try everything before I have to do that! Thanks so much for any help you can give - Virgin gave me the below settings:
GPRS:
Name - Virgin WAP GPRS.
Homepage - www.virgin.com/mobile/wap/
IP Address - 193.030.166.003
Access Point - goto.virginmobile.uk
Port - 9201
Username - user
Password - leave blank
Some phones need slightly different settings so, if those settings don't work for you, try entering the following:
GPRS:

Can't seem to get Blackberry messenger working on my phone 9300

how do I get my bbm to work it says under connections that it is not activated but I have downloaded the bbm as an app on my phone?
When I go to add someone's pin it just countinues to say waiting athorization, I have the most recent updates for my phone, plus I have tried wiping my phone back to factory settings and have repeated the process, I am with the carrier Fido if that helps, anyone knows that would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.

Click anywhere on your desktop (your background)
Go to the "Go" menu at the top of the computer screen
Click on applications
Look in this list, you should see "iPhoto"
If you can't find iPhoto in the Applications folder (where its supposed to be) try searching the computer for it:
Click anywhere on your desktop (your background)
Go to File > Find
Click on "This Mac" at the top
Type in "iPhoto.app" in the search bar on the top right
If iPhoto shows up, drag it from the window to your desktop and then open the Applications folder (as above) and drag iPhoto to applications and try to open it up.
If you cannot locate iPhoto, then try to download it again from the Mac App Store (Apple > App Store). Please report any error messages you encounter verbatim.

How to get BlackBerry Messenger/BBM?

I'm on a PAYG service which doesn't include 3G at all. I heard from someone that you have to pay £5 extra a month to get BBM, but I don't know who to pay or if that's even true? If I get a plan which includes 3G internet, will my BBM automatically work?

If you get a plan that includes a proper BlackBerry data plan (also known as BIS or BlackBerry Internet Service), then BBM will work on it.
You'll have to call your carrier to get that set up.

Can not use Blackberry Messenger On Playbook

hi all..... does anyone can explain about my problem......?
i have blackberry 9780 work on the latest OS, Blackberry bridge 1.0.0.83, BBM 6, and i still cannot use my BBM on my playbook. i already try to delete the bridge on my BB 9780 and reinstall it again and again, i still can't do the bbm right. it always shows blank screen when i tried to load it on my playbook.
well i tried to use my friend Blackberry the same 9780 OS and BBM, well it works well....
i also tried Blackberry 9700 with OS 6 and BBM 6 it also do the white screen on my playbook
does this mean that playbook only work on certain blackberry only?

You have the latest software versions.
Try deleting the bluetooth connection between the
2 devices, and reboot both devices.
Try repairing the devices, this worked for me.
Are you doing this as a BES, u may have an IT policy in place
that needs to be removed.

Can't get Desktop Software to link up with Curve 8330

All the following is from running Win XP in VirtualBox.
When I hook up my Curve 8330 to the computer via USB the computer recognizes it: I'm asked to enter the Cuve's password, the Blackberry Device Manager pops up in the task bar to tell me that the Curve is connected and I can even browse the device via Explorer, but when I open the Blackberry Desktop Software (6.1.0.35) it just endlessly says it's "Connecting" without ever actually connecting. Also, when I hook it up, the Curve's screen very briefly goes to the white "Connected to Desktop" splash before returning to normal. Mass storage mode is turned on.
Please, if you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated; I've had some close calls recently and need to backup my numbers and data. I can't find any posts with people having similar problems.

First check your default services on the device under Options, Device, Advanced System Settings, default services.
If the default services are configured correctly I would suggest try creating a new MAPI profile as outlined in this article http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02083 and then reconfigure the Desktop Software as shown here http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17022

Can't get sound from playback of video from curve 8500 series

I video taped my daughter singing. I took it off my phone and placed it on my computer so I could post it online. I don't get any sound when I play it back on my computer using Windows Media Player. It keeps telling me the Network is too busy to playback in original quality, The picture is great but there's no sound. I'll try using Quick Time player but how do I get the sound back. Playback on my phone is perfect, sound and all.

Try doing a cleansweep and reinstall of the sound card. Follow these instructions to cleansweep. After you have finish reinstalling, try the EAX console again

BlackBerry Messenger Install 5916 KB Blocked -

I have been trying to install BBM on my curve 9320 since I got it (beginning of June). Went to my local dealer to only be advised that I would need to connect my phone to the pc and I will be all set. Well today I updated all my software ( 7.1 Bundle 1319) and now when I try to download the messenger through pc (I'm having issues with BB world too) I get BlackBerry Messenger Installed 5916 KB Blocked.
Could someone please help as I am getting really frustrated with my BB.

i am new to using a blackberry, i am on pay as you go on orange so how would i get blackberry messenger it is already installed but i think it needs activating but not sure. Also how do i access the mobile internet, i can only get on it when connected to my home internet

With hundreds of carriers in the world each with dozens of different data plans, it's impossible for us to answer what services you should or should not have. But, typically, Pay-Go plans don't include the services you are attempting to use. But, only your carrier can answer for sure. Contact them.

BlackBerry Messenger and Mac

My Father has a blackberry and he sent me a link to download the blackberry messenger so we can talk via my computer and his blackberry, but you can only download it with internet explorer, and I don't have that on my Mac, obviously, so does anyone know any other way to get that same program, or one that will work, on my computer?

Maybe I'm not understanding this correctly but from what I get Blackberry Messenger is a IM client for the phone itself and not a chat client for the computer. You however will need IE on Windows because it uses Active-X controls.
Your Father should be able to install it directly to the Blackberry (by choosing the correct client you want to use as a chat platform ie. Yahoo, Google Talk, AOL etc.).
At least that's what I understand it to be. It's for his phone. You shouldn't have to download anything unless you want to use a chat client you don't already have.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.

I don't think we can back up BlackBerry Messenger Contact right ? As i have done for 2 customer they cannot back up their black berry messenger Contact....Did i mistake or the customer didn't selected first they start up their Black Berry Protect? or black berry protect doesn't back up black berry MESSENGER CONTACT ?

I just checked on my BB BOLD 9900, and the contacts are all located inside the CONTACT of the phone, I can not add any directly into the BBM, but I can make any contact part of the BBM by using the Invite to BBM in the menu, so since the BBM contact are in the CONTACT of the phone they are backed up, but they may need to be re-invited after the restore is completed

Why can't I open my BlackBerry Messenger?

I'm having this problem with my BlackBerry. I don't know why I can't open my BlackBerry Messenger. I've tried to plugged out the battery and put it back in but still, I can't open my BlackBerry Messenger. So I did it repeatedly but I can't still open my BlackBerry Messenger. I connect my phone to it and I clicked on "Back up now". And now it's saved in my documents.
