Is there a way to get an app that has been deleted from the app store?
Not unless the developer/Apple offer it again in the App store. You can only get apps from the App store.

Someone is trying to access the text messages that have been deleted off of my phone thru an app (unknown app)
I do have somethings that I want to remain private in my phone and I either need help to delete them for good. Or block themLet me rephrase that. They can't unless they had physical possession of your phone and installed spyware on it.

How do you get songs back that have been lost in a computer crash?
About 2 months ago my windows had crashed. We fixed it and everything but noticed that all of the songs from my account disappeared. The file name was there but the actual song would not play. If i am to click on one it would say this.
The song " anything" could not be used because the original file
file could not be found. Would you like to locate it"
It would have an option where you could click yes or no. The first time it happened, I clicked on the yes and it would have me browse through all my files, of course none of the songs found. I have all the songs that I really wanted on my ipod nano still. Is there a way to load these songs back on the computer? Some of the songs are from cds as well as purchased from itunes. If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
The transfer of content from sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

iGadget Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
iRepo Mac & Windows (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)

There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these -
My daughter bought a new ipod touch and when synced received the contacts from my iphone. She deleted the ones she didn't want on her ipod and now they are gone from my iphone. I have the cloud and i thought back up on itunes. I have tried to re-sync and no luck. How can I get my contacts back?
Your problem is that she used your icloud ID to connect to icloud and thus had all your data synced to her device. Contacts are not saved in a backup to icloud, since they are stored independently in the Contacts section of icloud. If someone deletes them, they are gone. If you had them on the PC would they be available in some backup you frequently make of the PC?

Can I mass recreate associations that have been deleted
Hi All:
In trying to set up re-usable ADF-BC Business Components, we deleted our associations and now realize that this was a mistake.
I know that we can manually recreate all of them one by one, but is there any way to mass re-create them? We're talking about a lot of Oracle tables here.
We are on JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.
Thanks lots.
Mary
UoWHi Shay:
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer.
When I right-click on the Model project or any entity object, I do not see "reconcile". I see "synchronize". In trying to search the JDeveloper help and with the assistance of Matt Ruston (who you've probably seen post to this list), we figure you are talking about an offline database. We do not have that at this time. These associations were in our Model Project with the Entity Objects. I kept all the parent/child associations and renamed them into understandable names in an "assoc" folder on the Project as suggested in the ADF BC documentation.
Is it possible to recreate the associations in the Entity Objects? Or do I have to create an offline database and then somehow reverse engineer the associations? I plan on naming them so that they are defined as foreign key associations in the "assoc" folder that I've created just as I did the parent/child associations.
Thanks very much, in advance, for your trouble in answering.
Mary

Is there any way to restore contacts that have been deleted from the icloud website?
All my contacts were deleted from icloud - no intervention on my end -(I spent hours updating and eliminating duplicates after syncing from MS Outlook and don't look forward to that exercise again) thanks
Thank you CS, I am using a MBP.
What I am trying to say is that I still have my contacts in MS Outlook, but are outdated- many duplicates - wrong/incomplete addresses that took quite a while to get in shape and then put in the cloud.
I still dont know how it was erased (sitting at work one minute no issue then at noon all was gone).
I am trying to evade the hours needed to clean up my address book again. ( and I have definitely learned my lesson - alwasy keep a backup). -
How to re-install iPhone apps that have been deleted on the iPhone?
Hi,
I've installed a number of iPhone apps onto my iPhone via iTunes. I've then deleted some of them on my iPhone. I now want one of the deleted apps back. It's still visible in my iTunes Applications, as well as in Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications.
How do I get it re-installed into my iPhone? So far I've tried:
- redownloading the app from the iTunes store, and selecting Buy and pressing OK to re-install
- double-clicking on the .ipa file in Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications
After each of the above I resync my iPhone. But still the app won't re-install on my iPhone.
thank you,
...benYeah, figured it out, and was just about to post what you said. But you were too quick. Thank you!

How can you recover text messages that have been deleted from an iphone?
If the phone was backed up either to iCloud or iTunes on your computer BEFORE the texts were deleted, restoring the backup will restore the texts to your phone. If they were not backed up, they're gone permanently.

Hi,
I have the following script that is supposed to search AD for all user accounts that haven't logged into the domain in more than 90 days. I first did not have the where-object clause because I didn't realize the search-adaccount would provide results
back of users that have never logged in, but were created less than 90 days ago. So I tried to incorporate the logic to not include user accounts that were created in the last 90 days.
#requires -version 4
#This script creates a file of accounts that have not been logged into in the past 90 days, excluding accounts that have been created within the past 90 days since the -AccountInactive option does not factor for the whenCreated property of an AD object
$DateThreshold = ((Get-Date).AddDays(-90))
$ReportDate = Get-Date -Format yyyy-MM-dd
#Create a folder according to the current date to be used for storing the report
New-Item -Path ".\$ReportDate" -ItemType Directory
$InactiveUsers = Search-ADAccount -UsersOnly -AccountInactive -TimeSpan "90" -SearchBase "OU=XXXX,DC=XXXX,DC=XXXX,DC=XXXX" | Where-Object {$_.whenCreated -gt $DateThreshold} | Export-Csv ".\$ReportDate\Inactive90_$ReportDate.csv"
However, I can't ever get the whenCreated field to populate with data. What gives?Hi,
Search-ADAccount doesn't return a whenCreated property. If you want that, you'll need to use Get-ADUser as well. Here's a basic example you can build from:
$dateThreshold = (Get-Date).AddDays(-90)
Search-ADAccount -UsersOnly -SearchBase 'OU=Users,DC=domain,DC=com' -AccountDisabled | ForEach {
$whenCreated = (Get-ADUser -Identity $_.SamAccountName -Properties whenCreated).whenCreated
If ($whenCreated -gt $dateThreshold) {
$_
