Can I get BT vision in weymouth?

Using the online check to see what services I can get based on my phone number, it appears that I can get BT Vision. This is also confirmed by using the online chat.
SO I fork out £400 for a nice new TV to replace my very old CRTV.
I go through the online ordering process only to find out at the very end that BT Vision is not available to me - for reasons to do with my local exchange.
As a back up plan, I decide to upgrade to unlimited broadband in order to be able to stream TV from my computer.
This will not be  an ideal solution (involving a new graphics card and a long cable) so I try to contact BT by phone to check once and for all that I cannot get BT Vision.
BUT! as I have an open order, they are unable to check what services I can recieve! Kafkaesque or what?
So my question is simple:
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I CAN RECEIVE BT VISION IN THE LITTLEMOOR AREA of WEYMOUTH (DT3 postcode)

    Hi all,when following the instructions to activater the BT Vision app, I log in etc fine, confirm my account number, but the system then tells me there is an open order on my line?  I am not aware of anything open.  This seems to be blocking me activating the app.  Apart from spending hours on the phone to BT is there an easy way I can see what orders are open on my line?  I have searched my email for anything beginning VOL etc and found nothing?

  • I can't get BT Vision to scan for channels

    Yesterday out BT Vision box stopped working for no apparent reason. After checking several channels and the settings I did what I usually do at times like this and reset the system. 
    When it came to setting it up again I went through all the options but when it got to "Scan for Channels" it never got past '0% Complete'. I waited a LONG time but it still never got past '0% Completed'. I tried to go from the beginning but I still hit the same problem. 
    Since then I've tested every cable I can but still no luck. We rescently got BT Infinity so there's a cable running from the BT Vision to the homehub that I'm unable to check but that's it. I can watch things using just the television so I don't see how it can have anything to do with the arial.
    PLEASE HELP! I'm all out of ideas

    I take it you mean you did a factory reset?
    Might be worth trying again.
    Thinking..... Remove Ethernet cable from the vision box and try rebooting
    Thinking remove aerial from box and try rebooting.
    Last switch off everything including the Openreach modem.
    If you've done all that and its still stuck then your box may well have a terminal problem.
    If you get to this stage and can get no further then either a phone call to report the problem may resolve the issue and you can tell them you have done all possible tests

  • I don't have IMAQ vision, where can I get some super basic easy VI's for IMAQ?

    I don't have IMAQ vision, where can I get some super basic easy VI's to get images from my IMAQ PCI-1424 board, without Vision?? is there some kind of tutorial that will help me get started from the ground up in designing VI's? Also I am trying to run the HL Snap in picture control.vi and I keep getting an error that says:
    -1074397150 occured at IMAQ snap.vi
    Possible reasons,
    NI-IMAQ (Hex 0xBFF6022) wait timed out; aquisition not complete.
    Why am I getting this??? it is driving me nuts, I don't know how to get a image on my computer from the IMAQ board. I can get one in MAX. Also in MAX I try to change the camera driver to Kodak because that is the boar
    d that I have KLI-2113, but when I try to change anything under properties like the window size and then apply it, it says error removing old camera. why does that do that? Some of the other drivers sort of work and let me change the settings. I don't know if they work right though. I can get atleast some response to light from the CCD chip.

    There is an example on how to display images in LabVIEW without having the full IMAQ application.
    You can always convert the images to bitmaps (flattening) and display them in a picture indicator. If you are going to do some image processing within LabVIEW, this may be the way to go.
    About the error you are getting, hopefully the above example will help you in resolving the issue. If the problem persist, it will be more beneficial if you can post the code. Also, you may get better answers if you post your question in the Vision forum.

  • Where can I get detailed documentat​ion on the 'IVA' vision vi's created by NI Vision Assistant

    I use the NI Vision Assistant a lot.  Usually I ask it to create a vi automatically from the script.  However, the resulting vi contains several 'IVA' vi's that are completely undocumented (from what I can see).  
    Where can I get more info on these?  Examples of these are  IVA Grayfilters - Nth order.vi and IVA Store Particles Results.vi (two of many such vi's) .  They look like very useful and interesting functions but what exactly they do I can only guess.  
    Any ideas where I can get information on these functions.

    I really appreciate your offer to help, however, it would probably be better for me in the long run if I could get this info from the official help on these functions?
    But as an example, currently I am wondering what does IVA store particle results.vi do?  It is called after IMAQ particle analysis.vi but just seems to be wasting precious processor resources.  When do I need to include this (as is done by default by vision assistant) and when can I cut it out?  It must have some purpose but who knows what this might be?

    i have labview 8.2 version.
    i want to make line profile on an image.
    i found that it is possible with IMAQ lineprofile.vi VI.
    which is situated in c:/........./vision/Analysis.llb
    But i don't have Analysin.llb library in the respective folder.
    I don't have NI vision development module.
    Can i get analysis.llb by installing the LW 8.2 again or i shall have to install NI vision development module?
    please help me.
    and also suggest me some examples related to line profile and area profile, if anyone have.

    You must buy and install NI Vision module/toolkit, however it is called...
    Then, you ll get that LLB automatically installed in the specified location.

    I have setup LabVIEW2012 on my pC. The cwimaq.ocx and cwimagview.ocx were also registered. Now I want to building componentWorks IMAQ Vision Applications with Visual C++6.0.
    I use the Visual C++ MFC AppWizard created a skeleton project and program. After insert the Activex Control in the program, the corresponded wrapper classes were created. But I don't know how to use these classes. For example ,how to display two dimensional array as image.The manual of "Getting Results with ComponentWorks™ IMAQ Vision" says that ComponentWorks online reference (If you have ComponentWorks installed on your computer, you can access the online reference by selecting Start»Programs»NationalInstruments>>ComponentWorks​»ComponentWorks Reference).
    But I only registered the Activex control. How can I get the ComponentWorks setup program and the detailed reference？ Many thanks.

    Get your portal administrator to copy the j2ee/admin from the server you're trying to connect to.  You can then install and run it from your local hard drive.

    Miiifco , Masona2 is 100% right but you can watch it on your lap top . This a  web site other people have told me to try ***********  then click on live sports , then click on other (in box where it ask you to pick a sport) , then scroll down to boxing (wladimir klitschko vs david haye ) then click on tv box on right hand side of page . Then you should get a choose of channels that are showing it a click on one . You might have to try several one's to find it because some of them are free.

    You can get in touch with the Developers and see if they intend to release a version in the future which won't require Rosetta. Rosetta has been dropped in Lion. They make it quite clear on their site that Rosetta is a requirement, so I wouldn't hold my breath. That leaves you the option of finding a similar program which will run on Lion, or return to Snow Leopard, if they have no plans to make changes to their program in the future.
