The answer to my own question appears to be NO, I can't!!
Since first posting similar threads about changing my primary email address (now there's a tale...) and when this was finally successful, getting confirmation that my old email would be deleted, I've tried to get a firm reply from BT several times, and have been told it takes some time for the email address to be deleted from the server and been quoted 110 days, 120 days, a month..... (???)
So as my old primary email address was changed in August (four months ago) I would have thought that it would now be long gone. Not so.
I've just got on the trail again as recently received a notification that my current email address had been accessed but as I use the email account regularly spotted it and was able to change my password and security information. Therefore, am concerned about the security of my personal information that may still be held in my old email primary address account which could be accessed. I've chased it up with BT again, and after several email, haven't had a reply now for over a week so looks like I'm still no further forward.
I've sent a query over to the care forum moderators (as advised in earlier threads) but wondered if anyone else had had similar experiences and if they finally got a solution?

Thank you very much for your inputs.You can do this, although it's an undocumented feature of Mail. But if your recipient's email program is not setup to send a receipt, you will get nothing. In any case, if you want to do this:
1. Quit Mail
2. Open Terminal (in Applications/Utilities)
3. Enter the following text into the window, including all the quotes as is:
*defaults write com.apple.mail UserHeaders '{"Disposition-Notification-To"="you@address";}'*
replacing "you@address" with your actual email address, then press Enter. When finished, quit Terminal. All messages sent now will include a request for a Read Receipt.
If you ever need or want to turn off this feature, quit Mail, open Terminal and enter this line:
*defaults delete com.apple.mail UserHeaders*, then press Enter, then quit Terminal.

How can I get confirmation that my email was received by addressee?
In Outlook I could choose the option of receiving a confirmation once the email I had sent was either delivered and/or read. I can't find this option anywhere in iMail. Does anybody know if this exists and if so, how do I do that?
Request Read Receipts in Mac OS X Mail
To make Mac OS X Mail request a read receipt for every message you send:
Open Terminal.
Type "defaults read com.apple.mail UserHeaders".
Press Enter.
If that command returns "The domain/default pair of (com.apple.mail, UserHeaders) does not exist":
Type
defaults write com.apple.mail UserHeaders '{"Disposition-Notification-To" = "Name <email@address>"; }'
replacing Name with your name and email@address with your email address.
The complete line could read "defaults write com.apple.mail UserHeaders '{"Disposition-Notification-To" = "Heinz Tschabitscher <[email protected]>"; }'", for example.
If the "defaults read" command above returns a line of values that starts with "{" and ends in "}":
Highlight the entire line. It might read something like {Bcc = "[email protected]"; }, for example.
Press Command-C.
Type "defaults write com.apple.mail UserHeaders '" (excluding the outer quotation marks).
Press Command-V.
Type "'".
Insert '"Disposition-Notification-To" = "Name <email@address>"; ' in front of the closing "}" character, replacing Name with your name and email@address with your email address.
The line might now read
defaults write com.apple.mail UserHeaders '{Bcc = "[email protected]"; "Disposition-Notification-To" = "Heinz Tschabitscher <[email protected]>"; }'
, for example.
Press Enter. -

My old computer had itunes and downloaded songs that I put on my ipod. Okay i had to install Itunes onto my new OS because window's Vista messed up on me and i can't get any of my old purchases back from my account such as music and movies any ideas on how to get them back (i do not have the folder that contains old items from the last itunes or anything from that OS because it had a virus and i just wanted windows 7)

Im trying to install the CC installer on my new MacPro. When the installer loads it says there's a "Download Error" and can't get beyond that. Everything work fine on my old Mac. Any Ideas?

I know that such a value would be overrden if the DB's home folder would contain a je.properties file (which is not the case in my case).Huh? je.maxMemory is not a system property.
Please try to do more investigation. I'm going to have to let your questions accumulate for a day or two, so I don't get behind on my other work.

You cannot unless you backed up your phone. If you had PhotoStream on, they might still be there as well.

ipod touch is frozen. i tunes logo and cable logo appear. can't get past that. already reset ipod
This happened to me when the logo and cable comes on it either means that you have clicked to restoreit already try connecting it to itunes and click on the small little icon on the left of an ipod scroll down and click restore as nothing will happen if you don't restore it and syncing will not help it will stay the same.

What itunes version do you have?
Are you sure you have an ipod touch 4th gen? You said it was old, but the 4th gen is the latest ipod touch.
Maybe you should explain what the problem is. -
