Can I get icloud on mac with 10.6.8 had it before and now its a not verified account.
How do I get my icloud running again? I think its sort of running but on all devices it says account not verified!

You can't use iCloud with 10.6.8, you need at least 10.7.2.

Ok, first thing, why are you doing anything with WAMP or XAMPP when you're running a Mac? MAMP should be what you want unless you're not explaining part of what you are trying to do.
2nd thing, I haven't used MAMP in a while, but there are two possibilities for not seeing what you want to see once you have MAMP turned on. One possibility is that you already have "Web Sharing" turned on in your Sharing Preference Pane. If that is the case, port 80 will already be taken and you'll be seeing the default Apache install (files are stored at /Library/WebServer/Documents/). This would push MAMP to either not turn on it's web serving capabilities, or to push it to another port. The other possibility is that MAMP defaults to another port anyway. So instead of localhost, you might have to type in localhost:8080 or something similar. I believe the control panel that gets installed can take you to the currently MAMP-served page, and it can also help you change which port your serving on.
80 is the default port for web serving and the ONLY port that will let you get straight to the server without having to type in webaddress.com:port# instead of just webaddress.com. -
The message icon is not showing in the drop screen of my photos where it says do you want to email, message, assign, use as waller paper etc. it used to show before and now it's not there how can I get it back?
Did this back along to mine. Plug it into itunes on your pc (or Mac) and click on the ipod icon on the left hand side. When the device options come up on the main screen, click on restore. Follow the steps and it should restore to factory settings. If you had icloud activated on the ipod all previous purchases should be in the cloud and ready to download onto the ipod afte rit has been restored to factory settings, otherwise you'll have to download them all again. I updated to iOS 8 on iPhone 5s and now iMessage will not verify my email address to use to send/ receive messages. It has said "Verifyng" beside it in settings since yesterday, but has not sent a verification email. I have also tried Adding it as a new email address several times, but get the same outcome. I can still send/ receive texts from my phone number, just not from the email address.
In my iCloud settings under Contact Information for that email address and it shows "pending". When I select "Resend Verification Email" I get "Cannot Connect to iCloud".Hello, Dorian071.

That message means that you have to restore the iPad now. There was a problem with the update. So connect the iPad to your computer and restore your iPad.

Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad. -

Icalendar no longer works on the PC that I am using. It did in the past and now it does not. Coincidentally, this happened after my iphone was stolen and it was replaced with the iphone 5s. Does it have to do with my settings?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

How can I get iCloud to sync with Outlook 2011 calendars??
Recently got a new MBA11 and use an iPhone and rely heavily on Outlook. All I want to do is be able to sync my calendars and contacts across devices. When I used to be on Windows I could simply do this with Google Calendars and Google sync.
Outlook 2011 isn't or doesn't support syncing with google (not sure who's fault this is).
I thought iCloud would fix this however iCloud creates new calendars in iCal that won't sync with Outlook.
Does anyone know a work around?
Personally I would have thought this kind of thing would be simple, easy and a necessary function whether it be on google, apple or microsofts part!!Microsoft have not made Outlook for Mac compatible with iCloud since they haven't bothered to include support for the industry standard CalDAV and CardDAV protocols iCloud uses.

Apple cannot do anything to rectify this, as they don't make Microsoft Office. It is in Microsoft's hands.
It wasn't necessary to buy Office for Mac to sync with iCloud. All Macs come with all the applications required for syncing with iCloud for free.

Can I do this? Or must I upgrade my operating system?You need a minimum of OS 10.7 to have full iCloud function.
