i have an iphone 4s that i purchased. i got out of my contract for military service and it's not unlocked. is there a way to unlock it to use on a different carrier or in my case internationally?

You'll have to contact the carrier that the phone is locked to and ask. They are the only ones that can authorize it to be officially unlocked.

How can I dial a Unity subscriber extension when they don't have an assigned IP phone?

I have set up our warehouse staff to share centrally placed IP phones by setting them up in Exchange and as a Unity subscriber and then configured the Call Transfer page to ring the extension of the phone closest to where they work in the warehouse. This works great except you have to go through auto attendant to dial their assigned extension to have it ring where it would be desirable to be able to look them up in the Corporate Directory and dial, but if I do that, it just goes to their voicemail. Is there a way around this?

You could set up a dummy phone record for each user and then use the Call Forward All or Call Forward Unregistered field(s) to forward calls to the phone closest to where they work in the warehouse (just like you have in Unity for transfers). Then if you look the user up in the directory and dial them, the call forward would take effect.

Only the cell carrier to whom the iPhone is locked can authorize an unlock, so you will need to contact the carrier. Note that if the iPhone is locked to AT&T, they will not unlock an iPhone at any time for any reason.

If the app is no longer installed on the iPad then you should get prompts about updates to it in the App Store app - as efectively there is nothing for it to update. If you are being prompted to download updates to them then are you sure that they are no longer on the iPad ?
If you are being prompted on your computer's iTunes then if you delete them for the App part of you computer's Library then you shouldn't be prompted about them.

Also be aware that the iPhone purchased in the USA will only have warranty service in the USA. Any warranty service will require you to bring it back to USA.

Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. If you are adding the photos yourself, then you need to create a DCIM directory off the root of the card, with the photos underneath it with filenames exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus their file extension i.e. in the same format as if your digital camera had written them.
