Can I get my Note 3 Replaced with a newer build or switch to a different phone and pay the difference?

First off, let me say, I really love my Galaxy Note 3 -- it is an awesome Smartphone...  Unfortunately, I am one of the users of the problematic Note 3s...  I got the phone and it worked great for about the first week I had it (I got it outside of the area where I live)...  then  I got it home... I usually have a good 4G signal at home -- inside and out.
My office is literally just on the other side of my college campus (less than a mile away)...  I go from a good 4G signal to no signal in my office, with the exception of about a  1 foot square section on my desk where I can get 1x, and occasionally 4G.  I worked with the support team on Twitter and was sent a new SIM card, and that seemed to help unfil a few weeks ago.
Every other Verizon 4G phoen I have seen at my office almost always has at least 2 bars of 4G... If not 4G, then it will have a perfect 3G signal.  (To compare, I upgraded from the iPhone 4, which never had a problem getting a 3G signal anywhere)...  I would expect the Note 3 would at least keep some kind of a signal in an area where everybody's 3G signal is nearly perfect....   At the local walmart, I can barely get a signal outside, and you can forget it inside...  (Ironically, there's a verizon store at this shopping center as well... when I walk in the verizon store, my phone magically switches back to a decent 4G signal...)
Ideally, I'd take new Note 3 that doesn't have this problem, or I could upgrade to the Note 3 Developers Edition that also doesn't have this issue.  I really love the Note 3 and would prefer to stay with the Note 3...
How can I work with you guys to make this happen?

I appreciate yawl following up with me -- this is the first time I have actually been able to get signed into my community account in a while.
I did managed to get some help out of the Twitter support team and they sent me another phone.  My second phone (the one I just received a couple of weeks ago now) definitely worked better for a few days and then went bad again.  I am beginning to wonder if the PRL needs to be updated...  Unfortunately, I do not remember what the original PRL was when I first turned the phone on.  But I know that it is on 15296 now.
I am back to having to leave my phone sitting in one particular spot in my office where it has any kind of signal.  I go back to my original question -- since I have had so many problem with this phone, can I upgrade to the Note 3 Developers Edition and just pay the difference?

    Apple offers an out of warranty or not covered under the warranty "repair" price, which pays for an exchange at a discounted price off the full retail sales price.

    I'd make an appointment at your local apple store, have them check it out and see what they say. If they determine that it's a manufacturer's defect then they may replace it.
    In case they do, I'd do a full sync and backup before you take it in.

    I assume that you need to find a cellular provider for your iPad. See if this is what you need.

    If it's not an Airprint enabled printer, you can not natively through your iPad.  BUT, there are apps you can purchase in the App Store, like Print Central ($9), which is what I use myself and works well for my needs.

    Ok so another question are you going to pay full price up front for the phone, use Edge or do it on a subsidy? Also which model since they vary in price from $650-$950.
    Line fees on a More Everything plan are typically $40 per line.As I said being on Edge or being off contract would reduce that by $25 if you have a 10 GB data plan as you state you would. The 10 GB data portion is $100 but since your discount is 26% it will only cost $74.
    So to keep this simple until I get more info from you if you still had all 3 lines under contract, 3 smartphone lines and 10 GB with a 26% discount would be $194 a month before taxes and fees.
    Since you have 2 lines currently of contract, if you kept using your current phones or paid full price upfront for new phones you'd have 2 month2month discounts of $25 so that would drop your bill to $144 before taxes/fees
    If you bought the cheapest iPhone 6 on Edge your Edge payment would be $32.50 a month for 20 months. So for two iPhones 6es( assuming you got the cheapest one ) that would be $65. That would on top of the $144. So a total of $209

    Then, you own the phone. Your only options are sell the phone yourself or see what programs are offered by third-parties or your carrier.

    Ask your retailer.  At worst, you can sell your iPhone 5 independently (of Apple and your retailer) and separately purchase the later model.

    You would need to ask that directly to Apple. Apple is not here nor does Apple answer questions here.
    To return an iOS product requires a valid receipt. You have 30 days to return an iPhone. The iPhone must have all original packaging & accessories and be in new condition. Apple may charge a restocking fee on a returned iPhone.
    If the iPhone was bought from a 3rd party, their regulations for returns would apply.

    Apple does not do trade ins of old computers. Your best bet is to sell it yourself and apply what you get to your purchase.

    Thanks for your quick reply Klaus. I forgot to mention that I live in Northern Ireland but will be flying from Dublin in the Republic of Ireland so I'm not sure that this will be an issue as I don't hold an Irish passport, therefore how can they charge me their form of VAT? Maybe they can, I just don't know,

  • I can't get into I Cloud with my new Apple ID

    I can't even get into I Cloud settings on my phone.  My I phone keeps pulling up the old Apple ID and asking for that password.  1) the old ID should be deleted and 2) It doesn't recognize the old password.  How do I fix this?

    I had two Apple IDs.  I had used them both but there seemed to be a primary one which was my work email.  I wanted to get rid of that. I was at the Apple Store for a repair on my phone so she put me on the line with customer support and after some wrangling they agreed to delete my work email Apple ID.  I was able to update Itunes for the current Apple ID but when I try to do this on my phone and get into ICloud to change the settings it brings up the deleted Apple ID and asks me for my password.  The old password doesn't work and so now I am stuck.  On the other hand I was able to back up to Icloud with my new Apple ID from my laptop but I am not sure that worked. I clicked back up to I Cloud from my laptop and it seemed to be doing it.  I am confused and don't know what is where.

    My problem now is that I want to sync my iPhone 4 with my new MacBook Pro without losing all the data and settings. I have already used iTunes to back it up and transfered my purchases onto the mac. I just need help to sync the iPhone with the Mac without losing app data, emails, contacts, settings.
    Everytime I click on the tabs (to sync contacts, apps, music, et al), I get an error message that reads:
    "Are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone “Ryan's iPhone” will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library."
    What do I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
